When I want a completely realistic romance, one that deals with real life issues, with people I could call friends or neighbors that’s when I look for Eve Gaddy’s newest release… or do a re-read, if I’m totally honest here. *grin* No Ordinary Texas Billionaire is a romance that feels so real from the very beginning that you will find yourself invested in the outcome of the romantic troubles of Levi and Dana.

Levi and Dana have been an item for a very long time now. Once a couple in love they discovered that their life needs simply could not match up and eventually broke up. Yet, that spark, that need for each other pops up every single time they run into each other, so eventually they just put plans in place to avoid the other at all costs. That worked for awhile, but now Dana is back in Whiskey River working on the airport re-design and working closely with Travis, Zack – and Levi. It didn’t take long before that staying apart thing fell apart…. especially when Levi’s younger brother, Asher, is returning home from the military with a life changing injury. Since Dana’s specialty is re-designing homes for accessibility she’s the logical and only one Levi wants to make his home comfortable for Asher. This re-design is going to change more than Levi’s home. This time, if he and Dana can really talk and expose all of themselves to each other they just might find that loving for a lifetime can be their reality.

First off, let me say that as the mother of a thirty-something son with physical disabilities I was delighted to see accessibility play a part in this story. It truly is something that you’ll rarely think of when reading about a disabled Vet or anyone really, but it does play a part in their everyday life. So, yes, that inclusion just made me an even bigger Eve Gaddy fan.

Levi is just an ordinary guy who just happens to be a billionaire. He expects no special treatment, lives a quite simple life and lifestyle (for a billionaire) and stays far, far away from anything that shouts wealth or snobbishness. He is most at ease in his small home town and doesn’t plan on leaving any time soon. Dana needed the city life to launch her career, it was just as simple as that. Their differences were surface really, as when they really talked, truly let each other in to their history, their thoughts, even their fears it isn’t difficult to see that they do belong together. Watching them get to that point of discovery was a sexy, tender, emotional journey… with a few laugh out loud moments as well. I liked them both – and I loved them together.

Now, I need Asher’s story. I truly do.

If you’re in the mood for a taste of realistic loving that has to work out a few problems along the way… then No Ordinary Texas Billionaire is perfect for you. I fell in love with this story and would not hesitate to recommend it to any Romance reader.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

No Ordinary Texas Billionaire is the third book in Eve Gaddy’s Devil’s Rock at Whiskey River series and it continues the tradition of second chance romance and easy to read plots.

Levi and Dana are interesting characters who definitely have combustible chemistry in the bedroom, but struggle to bring this compatibility into the light of day. Their story is certainly filled with roller-coaster moments, but the end is worth the mixed emotions. I enjoyed following their journey, and look forward to more stories from Ms Gaddy in the future.

I really enjoy reading Eve Gaddy’s stories, her books are wonderful & keep me wanting to read until I’m done, then I’m sad because they’re done. There is this feeling when reading her stories that I’m right in the middle of it, with her descriptive words & emotions & wonderful story telling ways. Levi & Dana were a good pairing in this story of past love & hurt getting a chance at redemption. Will history repeat itself again between them or can they have a shot at true love? I also loved how she brings the story of Asher & Levi’s tormented relationship to new light & brings them closer with Asher home & injured. It was also fun to catch up with the other characters in this series & follow their stories further. Definitely recommend.

No ordinary billionaire is the 3rd in the series and a second chance romance. Dana and Levi dated years ago. They were great together but lack of communication killed their relationship. The few times they have come in contact they fell back into bed but never resolved their issues.

Now being older and at different places Levi needs Dana to help him get his house ready for his brother. Working close together is going to be dangerous. But will they finally use words and get their act together?

It was good and I'm not gonna lie should have read the first two to know who everyone was but all in all I got it figured out pretty quickly. It was a good book and I will eventually pick up the first two.

A big thank you to NetGalley and This Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I enjoyed this book. Levi was almost to good to be true! Dana was Fun as well. They can't keep their hands off each other. This is a second chance at love, but it reads as if their first time together was just sex no talking. I liked Asher, he has endured a lot and glad he found a way to move on. The vibe is good in the book! I rate this a 4. I think most romance readers would enjoy.

I truly loved this story! It's a pretty typical second chance romance but the characters really brought the story to life. Levi and Dana definitely have chemistry but they can't seem to make life outside the bedroom mesh. Avoiding her hasn't seemed to help Levi get over her and now he needs to ask her for her help. That means spending time with her and trying to avoid temptation. For his brother Asher he'll just have to suck it up and deal!

Levi and Dana are both great characters and I wanted them to find their way. Now I need Asher's story! He definitely deserves some happy. I recommend this one.

6 years ago Dana and Levi were a couple, till one day there weren’t anymore. Now for the past few months, Dana has been living in Whiskey River, as the architect of their airport. The chemistry and passion is so strong between them, that every time they meet they fall in bed together. To avoid that they have been maintaining their distance.
But now Levi needs Dana’s help to make his home accessible for his disabled veteran brother. The chemistry between them has never been a problem, but will they be able to overcome the differences that separated them before.
This is my first book in the series, and I enjoyed it. It is a well written, easy to read story, that is filled with sizzling chemistry, fun dialogues and lovable characters.

Loved this story! Such sweet characters with just the right amount of heat. Second chances and stories from the past are interwoven to make the story interesting and keep your attention. Loved the main characters and how they all supported each other in the story. What an interesting concept to read about....a humble billionaire!!!

No Ordinary Texas Billionaire us a sweet romance that has you falling fast and hard for all of the characters. Levi and Dana are wonderful together, their downfall is that they rely on their physical attraction and avoid talking to each other about past experiences. I absolutely love this series and can't wait for more.

I have always enjoyed Eve Gaddy's books and I was waiting for Levi's and Dana's story and it did not disappoint. The reader got a very clear picture in this story of the baggage that Levi carried from his past and we also got to see very openly that their breakup years ago was both their faults. They had serious communication issues and Dana had her own bit of baggage relating to her ex-fiance that she had never shared with Levi. The only issue I had was Levi's not listening to her at all about the job in Houston. He seemed to jump immediately to the wrong conclusion with no evidence. While this highlighted what was a significant trust issue between the two, it seemed like an extreme response - though it resolved quickly. A very enjoyable romance and good addition to the series. Seems like there are many other Whiskey River stories to tell and I look forward to them. I am hoping especially that Levi's brother, Asher, gets his own story - the inclusion of Asher's story added depth to this book.

Surprisingly enjoyable in a very mainstream but solid kind of way, “No Ordinary Texas Billionaire” is a very well written ordinary love story, with regular characters that in sometimes predictable, sometimes surprising ways are very heartwarming and realistic.
Levi and Dana are lovable characters and their story felt so true; their sexual entanglement and attraction was fun and sexy to read, even when – or perhaps because of it - it was more about sexual innuendos, flirting and heat then sex itself.
Levi is a fabulous hero, a billionaire who is just a regular guy; there’s a simplicity and frugality in his behavior and way of life that I found riveting. Add this to his (and Asher’s) troubled childhood and the scars it left and we have a really original, unique, complex male character.
Dana is a great heroine too and the growth these two go through and how their relationship unfolds is a pleasure to read.
Eve Gaddy created great secondary characters too, and vibrant relationships that seem natural and realistic. I adored Levi and Asher and after reading about the wounded veteran’s homecoming, I’m already dying to read his story.

The story of Levi and Dana. They were together once and it didn't work out so they are avoiding each other. But now Levi needs her help and they are pushed back together, it is no surprise they can't keep their hands off each other. When events from the past are repeated, will they react in a different way?

A great read, and also nice to catch up on the stories of the characters featured in the earlier books. Hoping Levi's brother gets his own book next!

I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This is the third book in this series and I’ve read all three. I enjoyed this story where we meet Dana and learn hers and Levi’s backstory over the course of the book. Also, Levi’s younger brother returns to Whiskey River after the loss of his leg in a military situation. Dana and Levi had been living together in Florida and were in love when they broke up and he returned to Whiskey River. Dana also came to Whiskey River as the architect on the airport. When Levi learned his brother was returning, he hired Dana, a specialist in designing accessible housing, to make some modifications to his house. Both Levi and Dana realize they are still in love and don’t want just a physical relationship. We see as the story goes on, their attempts to build trust and keep their love strong. I enjoyed all three stories but they could be read as stand alone. A terrific 5 stars for Ms. Gaddy on this one too.

No Ordinary Texas Billionaire by Eve Gaddy. A second chance story. Book three in the Devil's Rock at Whiskey River. I enjoyed reading about old and new characters, of coming together, small town connections and helping each other. Looking forward to reading more books by this author.

A good romance story of billionaire Levi and architect Dana. When his injured in combat brother Archer is coming to live with him, he hires Dana to fix up his house for more handicap accessibility. Trouble is, they have a history together. Trouble with their past is that they never talked, just the sexual chemistry was super strong. Still is, but now they are slowly learning things about themselves and each other, and the path, while rocky, is at least going forward. Enjoyed the book overall, although not sure what it says about me or the characters, but actually was more interested in Archer and his new friend Molly than I was in Levi and Dana. Still. would highly recommend this book and author.

Dana and Levi’s story is an addition to the Whiskey River series. Levi is a billionaire inventor, and Dana is an architect who took on a temporary assignment designing an airport, co-owned by Levi, in Whiskey River. Unbeknownst to Levi’s friends and partners, he and Dana had a serious relationship in the past. While they are terribly drawn to each other, their previous attempts to be together didn’t work out; although, their attempts to stay apart haven’t worked out too well either. Eventually, they agree to try again, hoping that they have gained some maturity and perspective since their last time together. Trouble strikes again, but Levi’s disabled vet brother Asher talks some sense into him. They finally work things out and start a family.

A second chance romance with heart...Levi and Dana’s story also carries an important message about Veterans, disabilities and recovery. With the heat from their chemistry, there isn’t one moment that this couple’s attraction for one another isn’t obvious and intensely felt. In true Eve Gaddy style, the story’s dialog is smart, flowing smoothly with the perfect mixture of humor and earnestness. Also with multi-dimensional characters who one can easily form an emotional attachment to...with a vested interest in their stories...it’s effortless to imagine their HEA continuation after the story has ended.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

Levi & Dana were a great couple! They just needed to decide to talk to each other and share some past experiences instead of relying on their physical relationship. This was a sweet story without a lot of angst. I haven't read the other books in the series, but I didn't feel lost, just interested in reading the others.

Levi is so sweet. He is renovating his house without blinking an eye for his disabled brother. He truly cares about what others need and listens to their ideas. Could there be a more perfect man? I loved, No Ordinary Texas Billionaire. I can't wait for the next book.
