Wedding at Mistletoe Chalet is a sweet second chance romance story for Christmas! Beautiful setting at a winter wonderland Chalet run by a family. Kristen and Finn, main characters, have a second chance at the romance that ended in a break up some time ago. When she begins working at the Chalet, Finn shows up to see if what they had before is truly finished. The secondary characters are well developed and help the storyline fall into place. If you love a Hallmark movie at Christmas, then you will adore this book! Sweet, fun, clean and heart-warming.

I am a sucker for Christmas stories. When this ARC was offered, I immediately jumped at the opportunity.

I loved the description and details about the Mistletoe Chalet - it is definitely a place that I would love to visit. Wendy, Ted, and Sarah were the perfect characters for Kristen to meet when she was looking for a change of pace. Kristen finds exactly what she is looking for in their quaint resort.

When Finn and Kristen finally encounter each other, it is sweet and lovely. You can tell right from the beginning that there is still chemistry there, even if they both want to deny it. I loved learning about their past experiences with each other and learning how they have grown and changed. I was quickly rooting for them to get their second chance and happily ever after.

As much as I loved the story, I felt that the romance aspect was only a small portion of what was going on. There is so much more to this story than Kristen and Finn's rekindling love.

This was a very sweet, engaging read. Kristen is taking a break from her job at a big hotel, and working at The Mistletoe Chalet for the Christmas holidays. Upon her arrival she falls in love with the entire place. The family that owns the Chalet, Ted, Wendy and their daughter Sarah, welcome Kristen with open arms and nothing feels like work. When Kristen's old boyfriend Finn stops by to see Kristen on his way home for Christmas, the sparks fly and the story gets even better. Strongly recommend.

This is labeled as a contemporary “Christmas Romance.”
You do get both love and holiday cheer warming your heart, but wouldn’t necessarily even call this romance, as that’s not a huge focus of the book. Rather, it’s a story of love: romantic love, familial love, friendly love, self-love.
This book has some adorable characters I really ended up caring for, but not necessarily the protagonist. I cared more for the side characters.
There are also plenty of funny moments.
The romance itself is clean. No intimate moments, just emotions.
The very beginning was hard for me to get into as the first chapter is so unbelievably descriptive when focusing on the holiday decorations, and almost nothing else at the start. Throughout the book, descriptions do go a bit overboard for me, but if you like having the scene set so well for you, it may not bother you.
Overall, it was a good read and I would recommend it if you are looking for a clean, feel-good holiday read

I received an ARC from NetGalley and Tule Publishing for my honest review.

This was a super sweet story. It was like reading a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie. There is zero steam, so if that's not your thing, you might want to skip this. I personally like a little more action to my stories. There also isn't much drama. Although this is a second chance romance, there wasn't much to the romance previously. It is however a very sweet love story. Kristen and Finn were good together, having grew up next door to each other. I liked the secondary characters, it felt like it was just as much their story as Finn and Kristen's. This was a first for me from this author, but I would give her another read.

Wedding at Mistletoe Chalet is written by Dani Collins and published by Tule Publishing. This novel is set in Montana where Kristen Benz is making a career change to work in a smaller hotel and is happy to take the short term job at Mistletoe Chalet to fill in the gap. She is full of Christmas spirit, helping her employers’ daughter, Sarah, wrap presents and the renewal of Sarah’s parents’ wedding vows. Finn Garrett, Kirsten’s first Love, has returned after years studying at medical school. His detour to see Kirsten is supposed to find him closure from his first love. A meddling tween coupled with magical sparkle of Christmas Chalet help the pair find love that has eluded them in the past?

This is a gentle Christmas romance where love is rekindled and old sticking blocks to a successful romance are hashed out when the two main characters get snowed in. There aren’t any hot sex scenes or dramatic revelations, instead the novel focuses on the magic of Christmas, a second chance at love
and an interfering tween.

Finn Garrett and Kristen Benz are the stars of a wonderfully written, emotional, sweet and full of heart story which I absolutely adored. Dani Collins weaves such beautiful stories and I've said many times that if I even had the ability to string a sentence together to make create a spellbinding tale, I would want to write like Dani. The characters are relateable and there is enough passion that shines thru the writing that you truly wish you were one of the characters. Loved it!

If you are looking for a sweet beautiful romance and a Christmas story then this is the book you should pick up, the setting is gorgeous beautiful Mistletoe Chalet run by a Ted and his wife Wendy it is a family business and heroine Kristen Benz takes the opportunity to do some temporary work there over Christmas, never realizing that she would meet up with her childhood sweetheart Finn Garrett.

Kristen falls in love with the Chalet and the family that run it instantly she becomes fast friends with Sarah Ted and Wendy’s young daughter Sarah who she has a few surprises that Kristen jumps in to help with, but when her ex shows up Kristen’s heart is a-flutter with memories of their past and the way they broke up, but she falls back under his spell very quickly or did she ever stop loving him.

When hardworking Finn hears from his mother that Kristen is working close to his home town, he decides that it is time that he meets up with Kristen and talks about their break-up and why he did it, after all he is nearly a fully-fledged Doctor now, but seeing her in the gorgeous setting starts him thinking that maybe they should still be together.

I did very much enjoy this sweet romance MS Collins has bought the characters to life on the pages and had me feeling very Christmassy as Kristen and Finn reignite the love that has been there all along, of course they are helped along by Sarah, Wendy and Ted, yes this is a story that has all of the feels for a beautiful romance one that left me smiling and feeling very happy and is one that I would highly recommend, thank you MS Collins.

If you're looking for a really feel good festive read, grab yourself a copy of this delightful second chance romance from Dani Collins.

Kristen Benz has taken a temporary job at Mistletoe Chalet, quickly fitting in with the family, helping them get ready for the approaching festive season and helping their daughter plan a marriage vow renewal for her parents - without them knowing!

When her high school sweetheart unexpectedly stops to visit and their attraction is still as strong but can they trust their love and each other this time? There are plenty of twists and turns in this second chance romance but it just feels so right that Finn and Kristen should get back together again. There are many obstacles to be overcome before this can happen but the story of it makes lovely reading and I thoroughly enjoyed escaping into this snowbound location to read about the events, drama and love during their Christmas build up and celebrations.

I requested and was given a copy of this book, via NetGalley. This is my honest review of the book after choosing to read it.

I really enjoy Christmas holiday reads especially when it gets cold and snowy outside. There is just something about mistletoe, match making and reuniting loves that spread the warmth this time of year.
This book was enjoyable, although I did get mad at Finn a time or two. I will be looking for more books by this author.

Kristen is spending her vacation time working at the Mistletoe Chalet. She is thinking about making a career change to a smaller hotel so she is testing the water. She can't help but get wrapped up in all the merriment of the season. Finn is headed home for the holidays after having been absent for Christmas for some time. When he learns that his high school ex is at the Mistletoe Chalet he takes the detour to visit her. He wants to apologize for how things ended all those years ago. They end up snowed in and spend a lot of time talking and getting to know the grown up version of each other. I just love second chance romance. Great read.

Wedding at Mistletoe Chalet is a cute second chance Christmas romance about childhood sweethearts coming back together. This story is full of fun characters, secret Christmas presents, and surprises. Mistletoe Chalet had me itching for a holiday getaway with laughter, board games, snow, and romance.

If there had been more romance between Kristen and Finn throughout the story, I believe I would have enjoyed this book even more and given it a perfect rating. Even without the extra sprinkle of swoon, I still recommend this story for anyone wanting a cute, quick Christmas story.

Wedding at Mistletoe Chalet by Dani Collins. This is Kristen Benz and Finn Garrett’s story.

Kristen and Finn were in a relationship then due to circumstances they drifted apart. Years later their paths cross again so can they move on from past hurts? A sweet second chance romance.
