Enemy Of The Human Race by Henry Balogun is a thought provoking nonfiction book featuring themes of hate, politics & racism. How hate can be grown with false history, racial superiority and fear especially when it is not challenged. I enjoyed this book and like that the author didn't spare any religion from being partially blamed from spreading hate and discord.

Due to a sudden, unexpected passing in the family a few years ago and another more recently and my subsequent (mental) health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for several years after the bereavements. This meant I didn't read or venture onto netgalley for years as not only did it remind me of that person as they shared my passion for reading, but I also struggled to maintain interest in anything due to overwhelming depression. I was therefore unable to download this title in time and so I couldn't give a review as it wasn't successfully acquired before it was archived. The second issue that has happened with some of my other books is that I had them downloaded to one particular device and said device is now defunct, so I have no access to those books anymore, sadly.

This means I can't leave an accurate reflection of my feelings towards the book as I am unable to read it now and so I am leaving a message of explanation instead. I am now back to reading and reviewing full time as once considerable time had passed I have found that books have been helping me significantly in terms of my mindset and mental health - this was after having no interest in anything for quite a number of years after the passings. Anything requested and approved will be read and a review written and posted to Amazon (where I am a Hall of Famer & Top Reviewer), Goodreads (where I have several thousand friends and the same amount who follow my reviews) and Waterstones (or Barnes & Noble if the publisher is American based). Thank you for the opportunity and apologies for the inconvenience.

Moral deficiencies, inequalities, collaborating with evil? Hate is the enemy. It spreads.

Enemy of the Human Race is a contemporary non-fiction novel by Henry Balogun:

This book's main theme is - hate. It is about hate, politics, racism, fear, racial superiority and so much more hate. How hate spreads when leaders use everyone's fear against themselves and capitalize on it, and strengthening it.

I am not good at reading non-fiction, but everything I was able to retain in my brain was an interesting and thought provoking read. The book was a bit too long for me, I'm not a seasoned non-fiction reader but I think the book could've been much shorter. It was a very difficult read for me personally. It was overall a decent book though, with interesting topics and questions to ask yourself after and while reading.

A provocative book about hate through the human history. This is the second part of the Culprit of Division.

This book is so good! It's thought provoking, and blisteringly critical of the current culture of hate that is raging through the US. It at once shines a light on the degrading nature of hate in our culture and inspires the reader to do better. This is going to be a recommended book for sure!

It took me a while to read this book because how the author explores hate, injustice, anger, and destruction needs utmost patience. It's not the kind of book you'd read in a sitting and it reminded me of a conversational book. The kind that you can read a section of it and start a discussion on major life changing aspects. Thank you netgalley for the eARC.
