Planning on buying an instant-pot on Black Friday? Giving one as a gift this holiday season? Or just wanting to survive the holiday season with one? Then THIS is the book for you! Even if the book says "thinner", I'd call it holiday survival! Because you KNOW you will overeat at dinners and parties, so why not keep yourself in line during the rest of the week, with delicious yummy, quick to prepare meals? And After the holidays? Well you KNOW what's coming! LOL.

The book starts off with the basic of insta-potting, and some really great tips! The measurement conversions are VERY handy to have for example. There are some great recipes in this book, and they don't scrimp on flavor either! And using the instant pot makes it SO SO SO easy to make them too! That Greek Lemon Chicken is just TOO yummy, and so is the Beef and Mushroom Stroganoff, but a whole lot easier than grandma's recipe! The Cattle Trail Chili is perfect for busy weekends, and you just might find yourself bottling a lot of marinara sauce, as it is SO easy to make it fresh with the instapot! This is a great book and I highly recommend it!

Good mix of recipes, but lack of photos is a downfall. Recipes sound interesting, but photos make it much easier to visualize.

Great cookbook for those with an instant pot looking for lower calorie meals and desserts. Of note, there are no photographs in this book which certainly has impacted my rating.

Thank you, Quarto Publishing Group and NetGalley!

In todays busy lifestyle, having quick but healthy low calorie meals is a must. This book combines the advantages of using a pressure cooker to prepare nutritious meals that do not exceed 350 calories yet don't take hours to produce. Each recipe also comes with nutritional information to help balance your diet. The only downside to this book is that there are no photographs.

I bought an instant pot last Black Friday, and i use to to mainly make hard boiled eggs, ribs, and cook frozen chicken breast when i forget to defrost them. I have tried the cheesecake, but i rather bake one myself in the oven. I have been trying to do a dirty keto dirt and needed some quick, healthy meals, i look forward to trying some of these recipes.

Thinner in an Instant is a fun play on words for a book that is a little dull (no photos!), though it does carry a nice selection of low-cal ideas for the electric pressure cooker. The author is straightforward, as are the recipes, and the premise will be attractive to many home cooks.

I liked this excerpt of the cookbook so much that I ordered a pressure cooker (will get it in two days) and bought the book. I don’t think there’s a better recommendation than that!

I gladly give this book 5 stars and will recommend to anyone who like me is interested in “diet” food but sick and tired of the frozen food out there.

Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this advance copy in exchange for my unbiased review.

I love the premise of this book, that the recipes each have under 350 calories. Each recipe has nutritional info on it. Many of them sounded quite good, and a lot incorporated veggies. Not many of the recipes are vegetarian, though. I was disappointed that there were only about 50 recipes in this book, and no photos.

I received a digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I like that the author included a few tips about the Instant Pot, and some in reference to making the most of flavors, foods without adding calories.
One thing to note, I have a 6 Quart model, and an 8" spring form pan will not fit in it. Before you buy any pots or accessories make sure it will fit into your size/model of pot!
There's a very nice variety of types of dishes, and most have fairly basic ingredients and cooking instructions.

I really expected to see healthy versions of foods and not bizarre combinations to lower calories. I think it is safe to say the world knows carbs are bad but do I really need an instant pot recipe that is savory with melon in it to keep my calorie count down? I don't know if any of them sound good to make that don't just contain bizarre foods we do not buy for our home. I will attempt the few that do sounds appetizing and healthy.

This book has a nice variety of recipes for use in a pressure cooker. It has detailed instructions and full nutritional value for each recipe. I was disappointed in the lack of photographs as it is always helpful to visualize the finished product. With that being said, I am looking forward to trying a few of the recipes in my instant pot.

What a great cookbook concept taking on the Instant Pot craze!

First off there are zero pictures to help me see if theses recipes sound appetizing. I need a visual to see what the end product will look like. I like how the recipes are 350 calories or less and have simple ingredients. Unfortunately, many of the recipes did not sound super appealing but a handful to me. I did like how the author included a desserts chapter in the book! I can't wait to try out the Pumpkin Pot!

The recipes are simple and sound delicious. The nutrition facts are great. My main gripe with this book is that there are no pictures in this cookbook. I understand that pictures are an added cost, but having one as a reference is crucial. Also, the content is very small for the price. .

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review,

I love this cookbook! I enjoy using my Instant Pot but have found that most of the recipes I've been making are pretty unhealthy and very carb-heavy. This cookbook had many healthy meals that sound delicious and aren't too complicated or have too many hard-to-find ingredients. I put many of the recipes on my "to-try" list. If you have an Instant Pot I would highly recommend that you take a look at this cookbook.

This is a helpful book for those of us wanting to get thinner and when you think about it, Every single recipe in this book (desserts included) are no more than 350 calories per serving! Many are under that number!! It has a pretty good variety to keep things interesting and not boring or tiring. What I don't like about the book is there is NO pictures of any of the finished dishes, although it does include nutrition facts for every recipe. Too bad there's no pictures, I think it might have boosted the book to a solid 5 stars!

Thank you NetGalley for my Digital ARC!! Most Pressure Cooker recipes I find, tend to be high calorie. This book is a collection of mostly easy to fix and low-calorie recipes. Seafood Gumbo is excellent!! My complaint? There are no photographs. I LOVE cookbooks and LOVE to see the pictures of how it should look. Strictly based on recipe quality though, great collection!!
