I did not know this book was a second in a series, but it was still a great story. I found myself so into how the story would turn out, I read this is one sitting. I love the relationship between the two characters. Even when conflicted, Tuck is so loyal and would put himself in danger for Sam. It was more of a thriller story line with government conspiracies which made me not want to put this book down, I only wish it was longer so the story didn't seemed rushed at times. Overall, an amazing read.

Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Tuck got a football scholarship with his best friend, Andy, but ends up sharing a dorm room with Sam, a serious, biochemistry student. He falls into the role of Sam’s protector, which results in a lot of teasing causing him to reconsider being his roommate. However, as their campus becomes flooded with police and special agents determined to hunt Sam down Tuck knows what he’s got to do. Cute and thought provoking. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a somewhat short, yet sweet story about Tuck, a college football player, helping his “friend” ;) Sam when government agencies go after him on trumped up/bogus charges. Tuck begins to realize his feelings for Sam throughout the story. It was an interesting plot, although I was somewhat unsatisfied with the resolution with the antagonists. I enjoyed the relationship between Sam and Tuck, and thought it was very sweet and cute; I loved how Tuck would have to come and carry Sam back to their dorm because he worked so late that he fell asleep a lot lol. The flashbacks, which would normally bother me somewhat, actually contributed to the development of the characters well, and so I quite liked them. Overall a good job, well written. Kind of hope for a sequel with the two on Tuck’s farm together! ;)

The writing and the story were gripping but the length felt too short for the story the book was covering. Loved the main characters and the side ones and I wished it was a longer more fleshed out book because the concept of romance/action in lgbtq+ books is not something we see daily and something I wish to see more of.

Faith is a short story with the power to leave you wanting more. In this action packed thriller you are not only getting the accept of gay romance but left with real life choices and government conspercairy theories. I would love to read more form this author and this series! This book is finally what the LGBT community is waiting for, it defies the typical gay romance and gives the audience more than just love/sex at first sight.

I got this book from Net Galley, in exchange for an honest review.

Faith continues the Graphene series and really should be read in order to grasp the complex elements of the plot and the references to past characters and the continuing storyline. I was hit and miss with the first book in the series and felt pretty similarly after this one, though for different reasons. Once again, the book launches quickly into the action…so quickly, in fact, that it left me scrambling a bit to recall some of the details from the previous novella, Chance. That said, I enjoyed all the twists and excitement that ensued as Tuck and Sam raced to escape their pursuers, who were intent on laying claim to Sam’s research with graphene. And while I was initially a little lost, I did like how the stories were linked and enjoyed the secondary roles characters from the previous book played in Faith.

When I finished Chance, I fully expected the next book to feature Daniel and Nathan as the main characters, so I was a little thrown at the start of Faith. However, Sam and Tuck made for an equally dynamic, opposites-attract pairing. I also really liked the collegiate side of the story and how that worked into the graphene discovery and manipulation. In Chance, I missed out on the relationship development due to the action and ongoing chase scenes, so I was pleased there was a bit more substance to Tuck and Sam’s romantic relationship. Although I still felt like there were some loose ends and Faith didn’t quite capture my attention quite as much as Chance, this has been a fun contemporary series with a sci-fi/fantasy edge complete with some good twists and plenty of action that I think plenty of readers will enjoy. I’m not sure that this series will have any more releases, but I’ll be on the lookout for more from the author either way.

THE GAY THRILLER HOLLYWOOD NEEDS TO TURN INTO A MOVIE ASAP!!!

I didn't realize how short this book was when I requested it. Also going into the story, I thought it was only going to be a roommates to lovers romance story (which I love) but it ended up being more of a thriller complete with government conspiracies. It was too short to really flesh out the story or characters but it was enjoyable for a quick read. I would love to read a sequel. I want to know more about the people looking for aliens. 👀👽 I will be looking out for more work from this author. 📚

~This story is about faith. The faith one man had in another, what that faith led him to do, and how that faith changed the person it was bestowed upon.~

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read and review Faith.

Fast paced and sweet, a mission to escape a college lock down. The size difference made me laugh, Tuck carrying Sam around like a football was funny. I liked the little flashbacks, although Andy needs a slap. No smut but the story didn't really call for it. A little short but no wastage. Really enjoyed this one.
