I absolutely loved this romance! the main characters had great chemistry, and the secondary characters added some great texture to the plot. Can't wait to read the next in the series.

As always, I appreciate the opportunity to read and review this title.

However, I was not able to finish this as I was not able to connect with the story and the way the characters were written.

I have chosen to mark this title as a "DNF" and I apologize for the delay in sending this response to this title.

Thank you!

Steamy. Heart melting. Suspensful.

Bad Influence was everything you could ask for from a good steamy read. Likable characters, sexual tension, and a romance to route for. I really liked this one!

I am personally a sucker for second chance romances especially one doused in a little bit of over protectiveness! The writing was very smooth and easy to understand which made for a quick, but enjoyable read. A very cute and sexy read I nearly devoured this in a day!

This was a beautiful, romantic suspense book and was a joy to read! I usually am not a fan of 3rd person, but the imagery that Stefanie London spun was great in describing everything!

Annie and Joe were in a relationship a few years back and were about to make a huge move that would benefit him professionally and tragedy struck Annie and she made the decision not to move with him. They both messed up in this situation not able to come to an understanding and talking it out with each other. They loved each other SO much, but that was not enough.

FF to present day and Annie successfully has invented an app to showcase "Bad Bachelors" which shares with women guys that could be complete players so that they can stay away from them before falling and breaking their heart. The thing is, this is a HUGE secret, no one is supposed to know that SHE is the one that created this. Everything is going fine until she starts getting threatening messages with pictures and such that involve her computer. What is worse is that the one person she knows that knows computers like the back of their hand is her ex, Joe. Did I not mention that Joe is back in town?

Then the story unfolds my dears! And it is a great romantic suspense and I loved reading it! Great job!!

4.5 outta 5 stars from me!

PS: I received this book as an ARC in return for an honest review!

The author did such a great job developing the characters, that I feel like I really know them, and not just the major two characters, but the minor ones too.

I loved everything about it - the characters, the plot, the emotion, the writing, and the ability that the author had to tell me a story that had me wanting this book to go on and on.

I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I loved this third installment in this series MS London has done it again had me turning the pages and feeling such emotion throughout this wonderful story, this time it is Annie’s story, the one who started the Bad Bachelors app and website, she had felt so hurt after her one and only love left, see what happens when that one and only returns to New York.

Annie Maxwell comes from a loving family, they may be working class but the love they share is wonderful and her best friend and the love of her life Joseph Preston whom she met while they were just kids is always by her side, that is until he takes a job overseas and due to a family crisis Annie decides to stay, she is devastated but moves on with her life, for three years she copes and the Bad Bachelor site that she started to help woman to date safely starts to cause a few problems. But even more Joseph is back in town.

Joseph is climbing the corporate ladder in banking, sure that he will get some love from his father, the three years he spent overseas taught him that he will never forget the beautiful and loving Annie not matter what he tries, he is back home in New York and wants to see if he can patch things up with Annie. When Annie is threatened by a hacker she asks for his help and they get closer again but will there love be strong enough to bring them back together?

I loved this story from page one, I loved Joe and Annie they were made for each other, the strength and caring that they both showed was amazing the sensual pull was firing up the pages, this story is beautifully written, moving and a must read. I loved catching up with Remie and Darcy, yes this is another keeper from MS London thank you so much for making me smile again and I do highly recommend this one.

Have you ever read a book that left you reminiscing about you own life? This book left me doing that. I don’t have a lot of bad or funny dating stories to look back on, but the few of them I do popped right up with this read.

Back to the beginning with this book. Back to the man that inspired the infamous app itself.

I loved this read. I loved the fact that each character had truths they needed to face. I loved the fact that they also both needed to be honest with each other and own those truths.

This is a standalone and the final book in this series. It wraps up perfectly and the few twists that you do get are unexpected and truly perfect. I can’t wait to read more from Stefanie London, were words and her characters became home while reading this series and that is something I love about books like this.

Love this series! This one gives us Annie’s story which is a second chance with the love of her life, Joseph. When Annie makes the difficult choice but the only one she can at the time it separates her and Joe as he takes a job overseas. Jump ahead a few years, Annie has her website running full steam ahead and Joe’s back in NYC. The reunion encounter between Annie and Joe is hilarious and sets up for an emotional, sweet and funny story. But Remi is still at odds with the girlfriends which leads to some drama and emotion when they strive to come together again. Great writing in this sweet and sexy romance along with the terrific friendship between this fabulous set of gals.

BAD INFLUENCE brings us back to Annie and Joe with an emotional, tension-filled second chance romance between two people who never really stopped loving each other, in spite of what appearances showed.

Annie’s Bad Bachelor app has put her in the spotlight in ways she never, ever expected. She’s stayed hidden, behind the scenes as much as possible but a hacker has her identity and isn’t above threats, blackmail and more. Revenge? We’ll discover who and why by the story’s ending… but for now the suspense builds as Annie and Joe work their way back to each other.

Once Joe and Annie had their lives together planned out and were ready for their well deserved happy ever after. Until their lives together fell completely apart. One of the oldest problems between couples since time began… not talking to each other, not explaining what is really happening in their lives outside of being a couple, not understanding because they didn’t have all the needed information. All of that and perhaps more were Annie and Joe’s downfall.

It didn’t take long for Joe to realize his mistake in walking away – or for Annie to create her infamous app. Neither has moved on, they each still love each other but stubborn pride and deep hurt have prevented them from fixing their problems. One hacker will do what they could not… bring them together again.

I had such a good time back in this world again… and I’m sad that this is a farewell moment, but I’ve had a blast with these characters and I do wish them all well. If you love a really good second chance romance then you’ll want to pick up BAD INFLUENCE. I would not hesitate to recommend this story or the entire series to any reader who enjoys a good, believable romance, interesting characters, intriguing plotlines and secondary characters who bring the story to life.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

I received an early copy of this amazing book through Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca. Huge thank you for letting me read this amazing gem of a story early.

Bad Influence is part three in the Bad Bachelor series. I was a little worried about jumping into an already established world, but I needn't have worried. Bad Influence in my own opinion could be read as a standalone.

Annie thought she had the perfect life. She was going to be moving across the world with her almost-fiance, she has an amazing family and friends, and an amazing job. That all changed when her mother called saying she had cancer and needed Annie to stay. That decision left a huge rift between Annie and Joesph and now Joseph is gone, leaving Annie alone to grieve and take care of her sick mother.

Three years later and Annie is more or less going through the motions. She's created an amazing App called Bad Bachelors where women can rate their dates and she has a job she enjoys. When she's walking in the park one day she never expects to see Joseph again, let alone run into him-literally.

Now they're being thrown together when Annie's computer is being hacked into and the only person she trusts is Joesph.

Joseph knows he messed up leaving Annie high and dry. All he's ever wanted was to make his parents proud and he knew staying with Annie to take care of her mother wouldn't do that. Now he's back and trying to make a name for himself from under the shadow his father casts. He never expected to be with Annie again, but he doesn't throw away the chance to be with her when she needs him.

I greatly enjoyed this book. The story was unique and extremely well written. The App Annie made held a lot of controversy in this story, but I have to say I was a fan of what the App did. I liked it a lot.

I loved Joseph and Annie's characters. I loved how they grew throughout the story. Annie realizing who and what she wanted to do with her life and her part in why Joseph left. Joseph in coming to terms with who he wanted to be and who he wanted to be with. I thought this story was beautifully done.

M/F Second Chance Romance
Triggers: Stalking

Annie and Joe thought they were super happy. They had plans that went beyond just their relationship – they had future plans. But when tragedy strikes Annie's family, she has to choose whether to follow her heart or be there for her family. While Joe wants Annie to be with him, he is more upset that Annie decided to stay without consulting him. He wanted to be included in the decision but makes his own decision to continue on their journey without Annie.

What follows is a series of events that lead Annie and Joe on paths so different from what they intended. Annie develops an incredibly popular app in which women can review men to warn or help other women. But because it's controversial, she keeps her identity hidden. Despite the attempts to figure out who runs this site, she has stayed hidden for a while. But with mounting pressure and a stalker focused in, she knows it's just a matter of time.

Joe comes back to his life with every intention of seeing Annie. He just doesn't intend to see her as fast as he does. I loved that she wasn't willing to just forgive him. I know a lot of people will blame Annie for their relationship mishaps, but I think it falls mostly on Joe. He knew how important Annie's family would be to her – heck, they should have been just as important to him. But he was selfish and seeking approval from people who don't deserve it.

I did like how Joe did prove himself again and again to Annie. To show he wouldn't leave again. He became the man I knew he could be and I loved these two together.

This is the third book in the series and I would definitely recommend that you read them in order. Each one builds on the underlying story and this one finally gives us some of the answers to the question we have all been asking... just why does Bad Bachelors exist at all?

Bad Bachelors app creator Annie finally comes face-to-face with the man who caused her to be in the position of having to start dating again. But not unexpectedly, the events leading up to him leaving her and the way that they interpreted it may have been skewed by perception and prior experiences. We can all see that they probably should be together but wow, the chasm between them is going to take more than hot memories and incredible chemistry. There are some really sad moments, as they realise where they went wrong, but hope in that they still could put it right.

Annie's friends come to the rescue, and finally she can understand better Remi's distress. As she comes under fire about Bad Bachelor, she has to decide just what is important in her life, and how to protect herself and those around her. This is a very full on story with a great conclusion.

Annie thought she had her life figured out, the perfect man with his dream job taking them around the world. Then her life comes crashing down and she makes a decision that affects them both and Joseph leaves New York without her.

Now three years later, she thought she was over him until they literally crash into each other and the old feelings come back at full force. She tries to stay away from him but when something happens with her computer, she only trusted one person to look through computer and that one person is Joseph.

Joseph Preston thought going overseas would be the thing that would make his father proud of him, but all it did was make him push him more. Now Joseph is back in New York and the younger CEO in the banking world and still all his father can do is complain. Joseph finally wants to do what he wants and that is to make himself happy. To do that, he must make Annie accept that he is sorry for the way things ended when he left. And maybe they can move forward and rekindle their relationship.

Annie created Bad Bachelors as a way to help with the pain of losing Joseph and she thought it would help other women to find a good man. And she kept her identity a secret until she needed to tell Joseph before he started working on her laptop. When Joseph finds that a hacker is threatening Annie, his protectiveness comes out.

Can Annie forgive Joseph and they both move on together? Or will they be able to remain friends if nothing else? Will the hacker be found out before something happens to Annie? What will happen to Bad Bachelors app? Can Annie and Joseph survive his parents if they get back together?

I have loved this series and this one has been my favorite couple with the suspense added to the story. And the ending is perfect. I would recommend reading this series, but please read them in order so you don't miss anything.

Bad Influence is the third and final book in the trilogy of stories involving the controversial website/app called Bad Bachelors, a means for women to honestly rate the men they date. It’s a sexy, second-chance romance between the site’s creator, Annie Maxwell, and Joseph Preston, the man she loved and had planned a future with until circumstances forced them apart three years earlier. I haven’t read the other two books, but there’s enough background detail here for the newbie to be able to read this instalment without feeling lost.

On the eve of their leaving the US and moving to Singapore, where Joseph had accepted a highly prestigious banking job, Annie learned her mother had breast cancer. Instead of talking to Joseph about it, she shut him out of the decision-making process and decided she needed to stay at home to support her family and be with her mum. It’s a decision that anyone would make in a similar situation and Joseph understood that – he was close to Annie’s family, too – but what hurt him so badly was that Annie made her choice without even consulting him.

Annie barely kept herself together after Joseph left, but it wasn’t until a year later – when she saw a photo of him with a glamorous woman on his arm in a gossip magazine that proclaimed the couple’s engagement – that Annie decided to channel her anger and hurt into something that might help other women to avoid similar heartbreak. So Bad Bachelors was born.

Speculation is rife as to who is behind the site, and Annie has become used to the volume of mail she receives – both thanking her for creating it and calling her every kind of hateful bitch under the sun. Some threats are worse than others, but Annie has not, so far, reported them to anyone, not wishing to compromise her anonymity. Now though, one particular angry commenter has taken things a step further; when Annie receives a photo in the mail that was clearly taken by her own laptop camera, she realises that someone is actively stalking her, and that whoever it is has somehow managed to hack into her computer. Which makes her wonder – what other aspects of her life has this person gained access to? And what are they planning to do? Blackmail? Worse?

Ms. London does a really good job of conveying Annie’s fear and sense of isolation when she realises she’s being stalked. If she files an official report, her identity will be revealed, and she doesn’t want to worry her friends or family by involving them if it all turns out to be a stupid hoax. There is literally only one person she can turn to for help – and he’s the last man on Earth she wants to ask.

Before taking the job in Singapore, Joseph had planned to use his expertise in IT to set up a company specialising in online security. But he allowed himself to be persuaded by his cold, exacting father that the move abroad would be the best thing for his career – and he stayed in Singapore for three years before realising it was the wrong move for him. He’s returned to New York, where he’s the youngest ever CIO at another major bank, and has decided it’s time for him to start pursuing his own ambitions and life-goals rather than to continue the attempt to win his father’s approbation.

He and Annie might have a lot of baggage between them, but there’s no way he’s going to turn down a request for help, not knowing how much it must be costing her pride to ask. Annie tries to tell Joseph as little as possible about the stalker and certainly isn’t willing to own up to the reasons behind it – until another message makes it clear they’re not messing around and that they’ve hacked into Bad Bachelors and uncovered some very damaging information.

The time Annie and Joseph spend together of course enables them to thrash out their issues and for them both to finally admit that they each bear an equal weight of blame for their break-up. They are still strongly attracted to each other and have never really fallen out of love, but Annie can’t help being incredibly wary; she knows Joseph is a decent guy, but the weight of his family’s disapproval of their relationship (Annie’s mum used to be the wealthy Prestons’ domestic help) and the long shadow cast by his father only added to the pressures on their relationship – and she isn’t prepared to go back there. But Joseph has changed. The years away have given him more confidence in himself and his abilities, and have shown him what he really wants from life. And what he really wants is Annie.

Ratings sites and apps are nothing new or unusual, and the anonymity offered by the internet gives those determined to be unpleasant a place to hide every day (you’ve only got to look at Twitter to see that!) I appreciated the author’s exploration of the online world we now inhabit, and the way she shows clearly how something that was originally intended to be helpful has grown beyond its creator’s original vision and become something that is probably hurting as many people as it has helped.

If you’ve been following the series, Bad Influence rounds things off nicely. Joseph and Annie are well-drawn, complex characters, they have great chemistry and I was (mostly) rooting for them to get back together. I say mostly, because my opinion of Annie in the early stages was coloured by the fact that I found her view that the break-up was all Joseph’s fault to be immature – especially as it was her decision not to go abroad with him. As the book progressed, however, and I saw her character growth as she began to let go of her anger and to own up to her part in what happened, I started to come around and to think that perhaps she did deserve Joseph after all. That said, the reasons for their separation are really flimsy, so I had to do a bit of hand-waving away in order to accept it and get to the meat of the story. Also on the negative side, the identity of the stalker is just … an odd choice, and the reveal is contrived and anti-climactic.

Otherwise, though, Bad Influence is an enjoyable contemporary romance that combines a look at some very relevant issues with a sensual love story and a hard-won HEA. It earns a recommendation.

I really enjoyed this book. This is the first story I've read by Stefanie London and it made me want to read the rest of the books in this series. Joe and Annie both made their share of mistakes in the fight that caused their break up, but neither could admit it. Well, fast forward three years and throw in some threats, and they are on their way to working through those issues. Their return to love was rocky, but at the same time, beautiful. This story captivated me and I will definitely be going back to read the stories of Annie's friends.

Bad Influence is the third book in Stephanie London’s Bad Bachelor series. Annie the creator of the Bad Bachelor app has trouble coming her way with people trying to find out her identity because of the mess the app has created. Then add the man responsible for Annie’s spiral into creating an app to help woman refrain from repeating her mistakes. Joseph knew he messed up leaving Annie behind and hasn’t moved on. He’s looking just to get closure to move on with no hard feeling but when someone is out threatening her, he’ll stop at nothing to see no harm comes to her. Annie and Joseph have a hard time maintaining a distance because all the reason why they worked years ago plus mind-blowing chemistry then add a hacker threatening Annie, well let just say there’s only so much willpower a person has. Bad Influence as an intense and fulfilling second chance romance. I would recommend this book, but I would advise reading the first two even though they are all standalones. It was 5 stars read for me.

First of all, let me start by saying that I read the whole Bad Bachelors series the whole way through. When I came across Bad Influence the first two books in the series, Bad Bachelor and Bad Reputation were already out so I didn’t have to wait on pins and needles for the next book in the series.

I really love that the conclusion to the series, Bad Influence brought the whole storyline back full circle. I would HIGHLY suggest you read the first two books in before diving into this one. At the very least, read Bad Bachelor first because it sets the whole storyline up that follows throughout the whole series. There will be a lot of storyline holes if you don’t.

All of that being said - I LOVED THIS SERIES! And I loved Bad Influence! I truly enjoyed Joseph and Annie’s story and getting more of the backstory to Bad Bachelors and how everything came to be. Joseph and Annie’s story was the perfect way to end it!

Bad Influence was an exceptionally well written second chance romance that really made me pause to think that what I would do if I were in certain situations.

How would I handle being threatened by someone who hacked into my personal computer?

Would I be able to forgive the one person I counted on for leaving me when I needed them the most?

Joseph and Annie’s story was heart-warming and gave me all the feels. I worried about Joseph being able to redeem himself and there were times when I didn’t know if he was going to be able to pull it off but I was completely satisfied with how everything ended!

I have been in love with this author's story-telling skills since the day I pick up her Behind the Bar series and I haven't stopped reading since! When I finished this book I went back to look at my notes on the books I had read by her and she is ridiculously consistent LOL. Every time I pick up a book by her I know it will be sexy, fun and emotional. Sometimes more than others, but the qualities are always there. This is the author you want on your radar because .... consistency!

So, this story .... talk about a couple that needs lessons in communications and assumptions! This is a second chance to get it right for Annie and Joe and to be honest, had they not had the *gap* apart, I do not think they would have made it to till death do us part. They needed the time they were not *together* to grow. Both of them. This book is just as much a journey of growth and redemption that it is a journey to HEA for both Annie and Joe. Decision and assumptions were made in the *past* that caused them to break-apart but fate had other plans for these two :)

Altho I don't feel there was *angst* in the story-line, there was serious emotional drama. It was heart-warming as much as heart-wrenching. There are times when you will be 100% #TeamJoe but then the journey unfolds some more and you become 100% #TeamAnnie. And then the story keeps unfolding and you realize it's #TeamJoeAnnie forever!

I got this book for review before reading the first two books in this series. My plan was to read the first two books in the series and then read this book before submitting my review and everything was going great with the first book. I wasn't too wild about the Bad Bachelors app deal but I enjoyed the romance between Reed and Darcy. At the end of book 1, I was not a fan of Annie's. I didn't feel like she was remorseful enough for the amount of damage she was doing to people's personal lives and that didn't get any better in book 2. I enjoyed book 2 even less and then I started this book with such dread because, by the time I started this one, I hated Annie. Flat out hated her.

Unfortunately for her, the more I read this book, the more her actions bothered me that I had to keep putting it down before eventually just giving up completely. This book was not for me. Sorry!
