I fear too many of us can identify with this book.
It is a mirror to our inner slothness; putting off things until tomorrow that could be achieved / completed today. The trouble with tomorrow is that it is always a day away.
This is a comic reflection on habits, sayings and fashion that often drives one to find the latest diet, health fad or annual gym membership that only involves attending once or twice. The usefulness of gym equipment if not using it for its intended purpose.
I loved the cartoons; the character of Slothilda is a delight and her logic is beyond challenging at times. I smiled with the words. "I made my bed, now I must lie in it!"
Also "My Superpower is ...... ...Power Napping."
Not everyone's sense of humour but something for everyone and the cartoons are really cool.
This one nearly made me laugh out loud LOL!
"I don't wanna hydrate
I wanna carbohydrate."
The book is made to amuse not shame.
Sometimes through humour we can learn truths, where telling, would fall on deaf ears.

This is such a cute little collection of comics. I really identify with Slothilda from her views of carbs to her love of her little corgi with the heart butt. I'm glad i read this as it was such a sweet and uplifting read.

I loved going through the book and looking at all the nice pictures and caricatures showing the really cute Slothilda and her dog living "the sloth life". It made me laugh and I could really relate to some of the things :) I can defiinitely recommend this book to you!

Slothilda was cute and very relatable. I thought some images and lines were quite clever. I wasn't familiar with Slothilda prior to reading this, so I expected a bit more since I thought it would be more than just one image and a one-liner. I also agree with one of the reviews that says Slothilda looks like a chicken or bird, but it was still cute and fun to read.

Fabiero provides a very cute little collection of moments from the daily life of Slothilda, one of the most relatable little creatures that any reader has ever encountered. Although based off the author's life, she is also a perfect representation of the sloth that resides in all of us.

The concept for this book sounded adorable so I really wanted to like it. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. Some of the cartoons were funny and relatable, but mostly they seemed to be fixated on eating junk food and having an unhealthy obsession with losing weight. Also, the sloth looks more like a chicken.

The Art style was absolutely adorable. I hope there's some merchandise or t-shirts for sale, because I would buy one.
Embrace your inner sloth - a totally relatable book about laziness and procrastination. Would recommend it as gift or coffee table book.

A short book of cute simple drawings.....portraying a slow, easy going, laid back attitude/way of life..... It captures easy ways of procrastination, ways to sabotage dieting efforts, an introvert's attitude. I found myself smiling at many of the depictions, & able to relate to many! The drawings were really 'spot on'....with one showing fruit flies around the 'bought & unused' fruit! I liked the book!
I received this e-ARC from Skyhorse Publishing & NetGalley, in return for offering my own fair & honest review.

I don't think I have ever related that much to a sloth before reading this book. It was cute and fun and a quick read with lots of pages you can definitely relate to. The format and the art were quite enjoyable, I like that kind of minimalistic theme.

Very cute! Not sure I would buy it, but enjoyed reading it. Book doesn't seem to present anything new or different from online cartoon. Maybe would buy for the library or to share with others.

A sweet little collection of the Slothilda comics that you might have seen floating about online. Slothilda is an adorably lazy sloth who gets into a lot of relatable situations regarding naps, carbs, chores, and more naps - there's bound to be at least one comic in here that you'll find yourself nodding at! It's not a long book by any chance, but would make a really sweet gift for a fan of this style of humour.

I saw one reviewer that called this a graphic novel.

This is not a graphic novel.

This is a series of sometimes funny cartoons about life, as lived by a sloth creature that would rather eat then exercise, or procrastinate, or stay messy, as many of us do, at least a bit, in our day to day lives.

And of course, if you have followed the adventures of Slothida online, then you will want to have this collection all in one place. The subjects covered are Fitness, Food, Work, Money, Home, Lifestyle and Fur baby.

An enjoyable book for what it is.

Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.
