Catherine McKenzie never disappoints, and "I'll Never Tell" is yet another novel that was impossible le to put down. The novel follows 5 siblings as they reunite at the summer camp run by their families. Together, they are supposed to prepare a memorial for their parents, but individually they are all trying to solve a mystery that happened 20 years ago. The twists and turns were nonstop with this novel. I loved every minute of it!

This is a story about a young seventeen year old camp counselor who was bludgeoned on a tiny island of a family summer camp and it was never solved. Twenty years later, a group of siblings were summoned back to the campground at their deceased father’s request. At the reading of the letter/will, the father believed that the eldest son was responsible for the death. He listed the requirement for other siblings to vote whether he’s guilty or not in order to claim their parts of the property where the summer camp is. The catch……they have two days to decide.

It’ was a fun read. It alternated between the murdered girl, the siblings, and the campground keeper POVs. It would be good for a summer read. It wasn’t really a thriller but more of a whodunnit read.
It wasn’t that memorable for me.
It’s a three and half stars from me. Thank you Lake Union Publishing for this copy of eARC. As usual, all of my reviews are purely my own opinions without any influence from any publisher.

I'll Never Tell by Catherine McKenzie is a great summer thriller which will keep you guessing and a little shocked by who and why the accident happened 😮
I thought it was to be a typical summer camp type of thriller (because normally they are all the same) but it wasn't it was fast paced and extremely easy to keep up with all the goings on and character's, it has a little something different which made it enjoyable to read.
I recommend this if you're looking for something to fill some free time you won't be disappointed 📖

In I'll Never Tell, a well-written psychological suspenseful novel, the MacAllister siblings must find out what happened to Amanda Holmes before they can settle the estate of their parents.

This book has enough twists and turns to keep you guessing until the very end. WOW! Loved it.

It was hard to put this book down. There were a lot of twists and turns. McKenzie does a good job of leading the reader down different plausible paths so you don't know who did it.

As expected, another great book by Catherine McKenzie! This is a suspenseful, well-written, well-paced mystery with engaging characters and an eerily fantastic setting. I love all the twists and turns that lead up to the final resolution. Highly recommend! Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for my digital ARC. This is my honest review.

I am so very sorry, but I did not enjoy this book at all. None of the characters were likeable, not in the least way. This family takes dysfunctional to a whole new level. The blurb of the book seems exciting. The book falls way short. The blurb was the most exciting part to read. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the arc of this book in return for my honest review. Receiving this book in this manner had no bearing on this review.

Wow! Just when I thought I knew who did it, another piece of the puzzle was added throwing me off the path. This book had me guessing who did it until the end and what the kids would do. An intriguing weekend read.

This is a good summer thriller. Messed up families, horrific crimes, and tons of secrets pepper the novel to keep the reader interested. Catherine McKenzie is an effective storyteller, and she was able to hook me for the whole of the novel. I've seen some people calling this a modern day Agatha Christie novel, and I can definitely see that. Fun, engaging, and a great read for the summer when you're at the pool or on the beach.

I’ll Never Tell is the first book I’ve read by Catherine McKenzie, and I really enjoyed it! The MacAllister family owns a summer camp, and the five MacAllister children are left Camp Macaw in their parents will. The stipulation is they have to come together and make a decision about what to do with the camp (sell or keep it) as well as find out the mystery around the death of Amanda, Margeaux’s friend, many years ago. The story is written with lots of character development, twists and turns, and so many secrets! It was a page turner and just when I thought I’d figured it out, another piece was revealed, proving I had no idea who did it. Definitely recommend, and I look forward to reading more by this author!
*I received a copy from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange of a review*

This is a great suspense novel and mystery. The characters are the best and worst of family at the same time. The story is thought provoking and will elicit strong emotions as you read it.

Great book! Couldn’t wait to read it, and it didn’t disappoint! Grabbed my attention within the first two chapters, and then I didn’t want to put it down. Excellent character development - I think that every reader will find a character to whom they relate. I enjoy books where there is character development, and then also a surprise, and this book provided both! Looking forward to reading more from this author!

I absolutely adore Catherine McKenzie's writing style and have recommended I'll Never Tell to many of my friends. My favorite aspect of this book is the setting - there is something so fun (and creepy) about books that take place at summer camp, especially with teenagers. This one was deliciously wicked and really well written.

I wasn't sure about the synopsis of this book , however it did grip me. A 17 year old girl was killed 20 years ago on the camp owned by this family. Now, at the reading of the parent's will, siblings come together and a web of secrets and history is woven before our eyes. I could see this as a movie, wonderful concept!

Catherine McKenzie is unstoppable! This book is 2019’s book of the yr hands down! I read it in one day that’s how much her stories take ahold of me. She grabs her readers and doesn’t let go! This family is down right messed up and has you guessing til the very end who did it! I was left with my jaw on the ground because I was not thinking the person who was “the one” at the end was the one! It left me with the oh my gosh no way feeling! I love when an author does that! Catherine writes with such a way that it makes you feel as if you are in the story with them. I highly recommend this book as soon as it hits the stores you won’t be sorry! Buy one for you and one for a friend!

Catherine McKenzie at her best. Ms. McKenzie knows how to grab her reader's attention and keep it. I have read all her books and will continue reading all her future ones. In I'll Never Tell the MacAllister family is faced with a mystery. Will solving it destroy their relationship. Thank you Net Galley.
