I really enjoyed the book. Loved the story plot and twists. Approachable characters, realistic situations. Some descriptions or story „fillers” were tiny bit too long, but in overall - very good book and I’d read more by the author. Thank you, great job!

Unfortunately this book was not for me, it was a bit slower than I would like and it just didn't hold my attention. I am sure other people will love it!

I found this book to be interesting, engrossing and quite suspenseful. I thought there was just enough unknowns to keep me on my toes while reading. Although there were a few parts that I easily predicted what would happen next, there were also some surprises and twists.

Domestic violence is horrific. But we all root for someone to escape and be happy. It appears this has happened but there wouldn’t be a book, let alone a creepy thriller, like this if there was!!! Absolutely chilling. I became jumpy reading this! A book for people who like a thrilling story!

First, thanks to #NetGalley for the opportunity to read an e-galley of this book. I enjoyed every moment of this book! I was on the edge of my seat, I couldn't read fast enough, I didn't want to put it down! I suggest you get comfortable, order in, because you're not going to want to go anywhere until you finish this book! You know who he is, but you never know where he is, or what he's going to do! I loved this book! Five Stars!

I absolutely loved this book - it was so easy to become engrossed in the story and the characters. I can't wait to read more by this author.

Domestic abuse is never a nice subject.
This is an intense read about woman who thinks that she has escaped her ex. This is a fairly short novel which I read in one sitting. Don't get me wrong it certainly packs a punch. It is full of suspense, the only thing that lets the book down is the ending. It was a bit too predictable otherwise it was a good read.

I couldn't decide between two and three stars, so I'm going with three. This was a fairly short novel. And I finished it in one sitting. I enjoyed it and thought it was sufficiently entertaining (although the ending was kind of bland). A decent plot, good characterization, and good writing. Nothing great. It nothing bad either. A decent read.

He Came aback by author R Hussey is an intense read about a man who just can’t get over his EX. Wow, what a great book. I would recommend this book to thriller lovers!

I have never in my life felt the need for stories about empowered women more than I do now. This story about a woman fleeing to the Cotswolds to escape domestic abuse was a compelling look at a woman who dared the odds (women fleeing domestic violence are more likely to be hurt or killed when they try to leave) to try to find a new life for herself. Instead of asking women why they stay in violent relationships, it’s time we ask why men feel free to abuse their partners.

Melissa and Sian are roommates. Melissa is a professional dog walker. She's not a party person, she's not looking for a boyfriend or a relationship. Sian has had several relationships that fizzled rather quickly.

Sian decides to try something new .. internet dating. Bingo ... she's made contact with a rather good looking man and is dying to meet him. After seeing him several times, she really wants Melissa to meet him, to get her opinion.

Melissa is surprised beyond words when Sian's new boyfriend turns out to be the abusive ex-boyfriend Melissa ran from 8 years ago.

This is a compelling story of a woman who finally found the strength to leave an abusive relationship .. but time and distance doesn't seem to have made a difference. He says he is a changed man .. but can Melissa believe him? If Melissa tells Sian, will Sian believe her?

This is a short novel, less than 200 pages filled with angst, apprehension, suspense. Characters are finely drawn, flaws and all. The ending was a tad predictable, but did not ruin the story for me.
