Melody Anne’s “Undercover Billionaires” continues to captivate as billionaire“Owen” is sucked into the flames of passion with his childhood sweetheart Eden. They share a past of love, betrayal and secrets, and Owen and Eden have lost a lot.

With Owen becoming a hotshot firefighter, he takes his oath of protecting others very seriously and Eden is his heart and soul for whom he would lay down his life. But then with a serial arsonist as the sublime story, Owen comes under suspicion and Eden’s life rests in his hands.

With each billionaire brother the series definitely gets interesting to read. I wasn’t a big fan of “Kian”, the first in the series, but definitely a fan of Melody Anne. And am glad I stayed with the series an I enjoyed “Arden” and now “Owen”.

This was a good read. The suspense was good although Eden couldn't stop talking about being abandoned. Something like that is very hard to get over but I got tired of hearing it all the time. She wasn't trying to work through it! The characters were strong and overall it was a well written book. I enjoyed it for the most part!

I really had trouble getting into the book initially and getting caught up in the emotions of the characters. The storyline was good, but it just didn’t stand out in my mind amongst other books in the genre. The blurb was great, but overall the book just fell flat for me.

The suspense of the fires kept me reading this book but I do wish Edens character had been a little less repetitive. I found myself skipping over some of her parts and really not enjoying the chemistry between her and Owen at all as it felt very weak and not strong like you would expect an MC to be. I have enjoyed the other books in this series but this one just falls a little short in my opinion

Well this was a first for me... I DNF one of this author's books.

I struggled feeling any sort of connection between the characters. I get the anger, frustration and hell even hatred for Owen after the way he disappeared on Eden. But to literally fall into his arms seconds after seeing him again? She was too desperate for me.

I am giving 4 stars to the book because the MC's needed some work. Eden keeps repeating the stuff about her father's death and blames Owen because she was with him the time it happened and Owen doesn't have any good excuses on why he left 10 years before. At least he was good during the story and these two didn't get on my nerves. They were just faulty, but they are humans and are not supposed to be perfect. To be completely honest this is a book that you read, enjoy when you finish it and then forget what happened in it. But it's perfect for a one read stand and not something deep. I want to read the fourth book though because there is still some mystery left to solve and I want to see who the big bad guy is!

I was unable to finish this book because I thought it was terrible that Owen left his girlfriend Eden when he was "so much in love". No good reason except selfish and I could not get past that fact. I felt very sorry for the heroine Eden and I just couldn't get into the book any longer.

Although I did love Owen's career as a wildfire firefighter. This is an occupation not used and it is an incredibly sexy and rugged job. I hope it is utilized more in other romances.

Melody Anne’s book is a terrifically emotional read. As a second chance romance, Owen and Eden have a lot to work out, but you just know in your heart they are going to be able to figure out their issues. I’ve enjoyed this book series and this one definitely doesn’t disappoint.

I just could not get into the characters. There was so much hurt and betrayal from when Owen left and stayed away or ten years. Just stop. I got it the first time.

I reviewed an ARC provided by NetGalley and the publisher.

This wasn't the typical second chance book. There were twists and turns the characters were strong and the plot was interesting. A solid read. I was furnished a copy of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.

Eden never thought she would see Owen again after he left and broke her heart. Now he is back and with him coming back tragedy comes for Eden. Which will eventually push them closer together. With someone tying to destroy Owen's life and causing fires and other havoc in their town. Once Eden learns to trust Owen again they can work on figuring out solving this crime.

This was a great book on second chances and learning to love again.

I loved Owen and Eden's story! There was a lot of back and forth with them, but when I learned why Owen left, it was a little more digestible. The suspense kept me intrigued throughout. I'm anxiously awaiting Declan's book!

Eden and Owen were that couple. They were inseparable and lived in their own little bubble. Then one day he left town and Eden. For the past ten years, Owen visited and was now officially back and makes it clear to Eden that he wants her. She is still hurt from the way he left all those years ago, but she is still drawn to him as if time had never passed. It does not help that her father passes away leaving her behind causing Eden to run away from the town and Owen. She returns to investigate the fires that have been set all around her town. Someone does not want Eden to get involved and sets her house on fire. This event spurs the relationship between Eden and Owen as they struggle with the past and the present. Will they ever be able to heal old wounds so that they can have a future together?

Melody Anne has created a love between these two characters that time did not diminish. She also adds mystery to the mix so you find them having to interact with each other and learn things they never considered in the past. She keeps you interested that you want to keep turning the page to see where life leads Eden and Owen and to figure out what happens in the end. I look forward to reading more from Melody Anne.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I would like to thank NetGalley and Montlake Romance for this privilege.

Oh, the many feels in this one. There is so much love but also some angst. Owen and Eden were teenage loves and their love was strong until one day Owen disappeared from town. Now ten years later he is back and living in town and working as a firefighter, although the mountain around town is burning down. Eden has been tasked to find the arsonist and Owen is on the list of suspects. Say it isn't so! This story is filled with a bit of suspense and lots of love and watching Owen and Eden find their way while everything is burning down around them was a pleasure. I highly recommend this one and really cannot wait to watch Declan fall! He is going to fall so hard :)

Owen and Eden, I really wanted to love them and I did for the most part. I did grow tired of the back and forth and continued beating a dead horse, it was a lot. It really became very hard to keep my mind on the book, because I knew it was coming ...AGAIN.
There were many things I did like about the book. The angst and suspense were on par and really kept me vested in that part of the story. Owen, was likable and I sorta of wanted to be mad at him for just up and leaving Eden. Once the reasoning behind it was revealed, he became a bit more likable, but I still didn't love him. He cut everyone off and it was just "OK he's back, all is good."
Eden, I was a little more on the fence about. Ok, you love him have always loved him, but you were completely heart broken by him , but you jump in bed with him at any given time.???? I wanted her to quit going rogue and doing all this crazy dangerous stuff, when warned that she was in danger.
I am still at a bit of a loss as to why the Forbes are targeted. I am however looking forward to Declan's book. He has been a mystery all this time.

4.5 Stars

The story of the Forbes brothers just get more and more interesting. In Arden, the previous book, the story was filled with mystery. Owens was ALL suspense.

For Owen and Eden, this is their second chance at love. Though years had passed their love is as true as it was when they were teenagers but poor Eden has a devastating blow in life and after that the town and characters face dangers throughout the entire story.

I truly LOVED their story. Owen was devoted to Eden from the first moment he was introduced and his patience for her to come around was immeasurable. He was SO good to her. They knew each other so well, he knew what she needed when she needed it - even when she was pushing him away.

And Eden! She was such a strong character. I loved that not even with everything she was going through did she get whiny. She was independent and determined to try and handle things on her own, even if it was just to try before asking for help. She was willing to try her limits and learn what she could handle on her own and when she needed to lean on someone.

So far, this is my FAVORITE in the series, but I have a feeling that Declan’s story is going to blow my mind.

***ARC was provided to me for a fair and honest review***

Overall rating: 5/5 Second chance love story

Heroine (Eden): 3/5 lawyer, caring, wants nothing to do with Owen

Hero (Owen): 4/5 strong, ruggedly handsome and very tenacious

Plot: 5/5 There are a string of fires started by arson, Owen is suspect number one and Eden is the lead investigator. Owen and Eden have a past, he left one day without explanation and is now back to win her affection.

Personal Review: I absolutely love these two together. I love the way the author chose to open the story and write the story. So different – it as looking peeking into someone’s heart and soul at times. I had so many emotions with this story. Lots of tears and some smiles too.

This story is a 5 star winner all the way around. I absolutely loved and connected with both characters and the plot was intriguing and so engaging. The secondary characters were awesome too.

Although an overall decent read with suspense, wit, romance, the personalitiesof the couple were slightly irritating. I would have like a bit more redeeming qualities. I'd still recommend it to certain people I'm sure that wouldn't bother.

Ten years ago Owen and Eden were so in love, then he disappears. Now ten years later he is back and the flame between them is just as bright but Eden is determined not to fall for his charms again. Unfortunately for Eden that is easier said than done. While she is with Owen her father is dying and she ignores his calls and now she is unable to forgive herself.

Fires are burning around Eden's home town and she is one of the investigators trying to find out the cause or the culprit and the finger is being pointed at Owen. Events become personal for both Owen and Eden and it becomes obvious that this is not random, someone with a grudge is out there.

What an edge of your seat read this is and Eden and Owen try to find who is doing all this harm and at the same time try to repair their broken love. I loved this book as I did the earlier ones in the series, it is a passionate love story with a mystery underneath and the main characters have to go through a lot to get to their happy ever after. Very well written.
