While I do like her written I'm just not enjoying it like I use to .With that said I don't think she's the author for me any more, so as as right now I'm sad to say that I'm DNF her books

Great beach read, it’s a quick and easy story that I really enjoyed. Definitely recommend if you like your romances a little spicy!

A mostly okay book. It certainly could have used some tweaking. It has far too many cliches and things about it that didn't make sense for it to be completely enjoyable for me.

Another great story from Leslie North, I liked that Christina was willing to go as far as she did in order to help her sister, and the chemistry between she and Dakarick is hot right from the start, and seeing their relationship evolve was fantastic.

Christina had a mission. Saving her niece and traveling to the Middle East. Pretending to be a fiancée to an extremely handsome man and seeking the answers she is looking for bring her closer to finding a new home and hope for her niece. Great ending to the series.

I loved this book by Leslie North. It seem like all options are exhausted when Christina stumbles upon a secret her parents kept from her and he sister and she is so desperate to help her niece find a donor for a kidney and doesn't want to stress her pregnant sister so she heads to Kattahar to search for their last hope for a donor. What she doesn't expect is to fall for the handsome Inn keeper who is actually the King of Al Qalb. Will she be bale to find a donor in time?

It’s everything I love about picking up a romance - has a lot of swoons, some sexy times, fabulous storyline and even better characters and so many great things. Absolutely one click worthy.

LOVE IT!!! I think I've said almost the exact same thing for the other two books in this series but I'll say it again! I loved the drama, the romance, the different culture mash up, I just loved it all. It's a great series and a wonderful romance!

***ARC was provided to me for a fair and honest review***

Overall rating: 4/5 A great ending to the series!

Heroine (Christina): 4/5 She is a loving sister who will do anything to find her sister’s birth mother, even play the part of fiance to the king

Hero (Dakarick): 4/5 He is King of Al Quaib and is desperate to bring his country into modern times as well as ensuring its prosperity.

Plot: 4/5 Christina need to find her sister’s birth mother due to her sister needing a kidney transplant and people of her familial tree would be a likely match. Once at the inn, she finds an insanely hot guy who asks her to pretend to be his fiance for the press in exchange for helping her on her mission. Can the king and his fake fiance complete their mission in time to save her sister? Can they keep up their relationship purely for the press or will real feelings find their way into their hearts?

Personal Review: I loved Christina’s commitment to her sister and the gradual love she feels for Dakarick. It was an excellent end to the series and if you haven’t already I would read the other two stories first but this can be read as a stand alone.

Emotionally thrilling, sweetly sexy and action packed race to save her niece turns into an unexpected fake engagement that might not be so fake... what is not to love. Highly entertaining read, was very hard to put down.

This is the third book in the Desert Sheikhs series.

Christina and her sister Kasha and getting their family home ready for sale to pay for the medical bills for Hope who is desperate for a kidney transplant. When cleaning out the attic, Christina stumbles across a small tin box with documents and photos that lead her to Kattahar and on a journey to find a woman named Sabrina who she believes is Kasha's true mother.

The journey is unexpected and Christina finds herself attracted to the Innkeeper Dakaric. Unbeknownst to Christina, Dakaric is the King of Al Qalb and best friend to King Zatar.

With the King's help the whereabouts of Sabrina is discovered but unfortunately she has passed and the situation is becoming critical for Hope to find a donor.

Thanks to NetGalley and Relay Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book.

My favorite by far of the three books in this series. Cristina and Dakaric had my by the end of chapter three. I was still curious though how they would be connected to the other two books. Yes Zatar and Dakaric were childhood friend's but was there more? Yup sure was more I thank Ms. North for the surprise. I will always request her books she is one of my favorites. I received this book as a ARC review from NetGalley.

This is the kind of book I like to read when I am tired and I do not have all day. It is a fast read with a happy ending. This kind of romances are often completely unrealistic and this is one of them. I mean imagine an Arabic country with champagne and gala like in a Sisi movie? But if you forget about that the story is not that unlogical. The female heroine travels to a far away country when she finds out her sister is adopted and originally hails from that country hoping a family member will be alive to be a kidney transplant for her niece. In the meantime in that country the king has hinted he has a girlfriend. While making up the story he describes that girlfriend as American. When the heroine and the king meet he offers his help finding the grandmother of her niece but asks her to pretend she is that American woman for two weeks.. While most of this kind of stories are overdoing the bedscenes this one has a story and hardly any sex.
So if you like some light reading and a happy ending this is one for you.

I think these kind of romances could improve with a little bit of real world cultural input. Drinking champagne, walking around in a tanktop being culturally sensitive because she is not in shorts, covering shoulders (but not head)?

Christina and her sister Kasha had been meaning to clean under the slated roof of the attic for months. Every since their moms death two years ago. But Kasha was now about twenty weeks pregnant and if it didn’t happen now it was never going to happen. Hope was three years old and Sasha’s daughter and Christina’s niece. Hope was very sick and needed a kidney donor to save her life yesterday. Sasha and Christina were going to sell their childhood home as Hope’s medical bills were piling up with no donor in sight. Christina nor Hope’s dad were a match for Hope. Hope’s energy [eve[ has dropped in recent weeks, her kidneys were failing. Christina sent Sasha down to the air conditioning with
Hope and Christina would keep working on the attic. Then she finds a tin that shows Sasha was probably adopted and their parents had never said a word. But that meant maybe they could find different people to try ro match Hope with. She lied to Sasha which she wasn’t good at. She told Sasha she was going to a librarian’s convention and since Christina was a librarian…..But actually Christina was planning on going to Katihar to look for Sabrina - Sasha’s biological mother. Dakaric’s best friend and confidant was his childhood friend King Zatar - a modern king in the neighboring kingdom of Katihar. Dakaric was King of Al Qalb. The Press pounded Dakaric daily for updates on his marital situation. He had invented a fiance. As the people demanded a queen. Dakaric had only been king for two months. He was not raised to be royal but his uncle gave up the throne. Dakaric looked at the work-in- progress patio. The inn had consumed the majority of his life - first as his childhood home then a never ending project once his parents passed away and left the peaceful and popular inn to him. Dakaric had been raised a commoner but had to step up. Stepping up brought with it a heavy learning curb and a lot of frustration. Zatar told Dakaric to be out with a woman as though she was his fiance then that would give him some time at least. Leak a little something to the tabloid. At least daily someone came to take a look at the famous Kattahan Inn. After being the feature in a variety of widely circulated international magazines he was used to the curiosity and wonder. A woman speaking English said she had heard of the inn and hoped she could stay for two weeks. Dakuric had dated an international model. The CEO of a hair care product company start, even a politician’s daughter. But this woman- he might as well be trembling at the foot of God. This stranger, this foreigner two minutes in and he was ready to cast aside his long held rule that stated no fraternity with the guests. He was the boss, maybe he could make an exception. Christina thought about how hot this man was who was leading her to her room. Then he mentioned he was the owner. Christina told the man of her discovery of her sister’s adoption and Hope’s need of a kidney. He said he may be able to fight. Christina said she would help Dakaric anyway she could. As he was willing to help her. Christina goes down to find about lunch and Dakaric tells her he needs the favor now and introduces Christina to a woman named Tersa as his fiance.
Excellent book and I loved it. But Mrs North always puts out excellent books. I loved Christina and Dakaric together and how they interacted. I loved the plot and pace. I didn’t want to put this down. I loved how close Zatar and Dakaric were. And also both kings. I loved how Christina was willing to do anything to try to help her beloved Hope. I also loved that Christina was willing to help Dakaric’s people in any way she could at the village that had been damaged by a sand storm. I could find nothing to criticize in this book happily. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.

If you enjoy a quick, romantic read featuring a sweet, compassionate heroine and a royally good guy in more ways than one, you might want to consider this new release by Leslie North, which is book 3 of her Desert Sheikh’s series. It is a stand-alone that isn’t bogged down with more steam than substance, folks. In fact, there is only one graphic, smexy scene towards the heart melting conclusion.

You really feel the instant attraction, chemistry, and sweet, genuine, romantic connection between these two destined to be together lovebirds. You will have to put up with one knucklehead, hot head reaction that causes a tad bit of relationship angst drama. But not to worry. Dakaric, the hero, does exactly what is needed to make things right.

Though I haven’t read the previous books, I sure hope to in the near future.

Title: The Sheikh’s American Fiance, Series: Desert Sheikh’s (Book 3), Author: Leslie North, Pages: 141, stand-alone but part of a series, respectable/good guy hero who is not a manho, sweet/kind heroine who has been celibate awhile, two week time frame, only one very steamy scene near the end, HEA, no cheating, no love triangle, no OM drama, OW wants him and tries to cause trouble.

Book 1 - The Sheikh’s Royal Seduction
Book 2 - The Sheikh’s Unexpected Protector
Book 3 - The Sheikh’s American Fiancee

The Sheikh's American Fiancee, the third in The Desert Sheikh's series, and did not disappoint. I loved this one as much as the other two. Christina is looking for her sister's birth mom, to help her sick niece. In the process she meets King Dakaric who is not your typical King. Christina and King Dakaric has a great chemistry from the start, it went from fun and flirty to hot and sexy. Fantastic story line, perfect characters with a flow that keeps you turning the pages. You can defiantly read this story alone, but with the other two novels just as amazing, I would suggest read all three! they will not disappoint. An easy 5 star rating!
I was giving a ARC in exchange for an honest review from NetGalley.
