A great compilation of graphic novels to read for anyone who hasn't picked one up in a while.

I especially loved the comic of Aquaman and the front. Very organized and comprehensive.

First off, I'm thankful for DC Comics and Netgalley for this ARC. It won't be wrong if I say that this catalog is a fan's perfect guide to DC Comics. We can also treat this as a guide for new fans, or if you are coming back to comics after a long time, you will need this handbook. It will put you right back on track! The past 5 years have been revolutionary in DC, Rebirth and New 52 completely changed the direction of our most beloved characters. This is obviously the time to keep up with DC and I highly recommend this guide for it!

From adult comics with rebellious characters to cute and bubbly characters for the kids. Tons of truth and justice of our teens with action-packed adventure.

What I've been wanting! I'm sick of looking on wikipedia just to get the wrong information on where to start in a series! I love how this shows you where to start but also tells you what the series is about, without doing so in a spoiler way. I've loved DC comics since I was a kid, but It's been a while since I've picked up and read a graphic novel, but I've been wanting to get back in to it...now I can!

This is a catalog of DC Graphic Novels released in 2019. I purchase children's comics and graphic novels for my library and it can be so hard to stay on top of things! Especially because I think a lot of book reviewers still have a ways to go to appreciating graphic novels (#justiceforvisualmedia) and so I miss out on some great books that aren't reviewed in journals or get buzz. This catalog was really helpful for me to see what I'd missed. So, not a book. But helpful for finding good books!

This is the collector's dream catalogue. The quality of the pictures are awesome, and I wasn't expecting the Aquaman vs. Black Manta narrative in the beginning. I'm motivated to collect all of these, since each description was laid out and organized in a very straightforward way. Definitely keeping this catalogue around for future reference!

This is a good look at the upcoming and essential comics from the DC Universe. It's definitely worth getting if you are interested in beginning to read DC comics.

I love how the list of 25 Essentials is updated to include recent works that are critically acclaimed. The DC Comics Universe is constantly growing with limitless imagination and endless possibilities, with these guidebooks serving as compasses to steer fans along the journey. With a focus on young readers, the guide to DC Zoom children's books is well-appreciated in showcasing the depth and vastness of what is being offered.

Many are very well know among fans, some not so much, but this is a great addition for a collector or a casual fan. It has information on our favourite DC characters, as well as some of their best comics.

Also, there is a short scene is the beginning that was quite entertaining, featuring Black Manta, Aquaman and my all-time favourite, Mera, in which they explain what the DC Essential Graphic Catalog is and what it entails.

This was a great overview of DC graphic novels for 2019. Even though it is almost the end of the year, there were some books that I overlooked. I'm looking forward to the 2020 catalog so that I can add more books to my Goodreads lists.

This was a great catalog. It showed me so many graphic novels that I have yet to read, that I will in the future. If you are into comic books, I would highly recommend this book.

A good catalog guide for starter comic-book reader. I'm not really well-versed with DC comics but I think the old and original story, albeit it has it's flaws, is still the best rather than these new ones.

If you've fallen asleep under a rock for the last 5 years then this is the perfect reference book to get you back on track with DC's roster of characters and bestsellers. Rebirth has happened in 2016 and has since paved the way for stories as incredible as their first inceptions - especially the artwork. Both new and old talent have added their contributions to this awesome catalog.

So, whether you're a die-hard comics fan or find yourself new to the whole scene, don't worry: being daunted by the massive assortment of stories is simply just the comic world beckoning you to take your time and dig in.

This is great tool for all DC comics fans. It is an informative and helpful guide. I recommend adding this to your shelf!
