If you want to take your crystal work to the next level, this book is for you. It doesn't just list the properties of different crystals, it shows you how to apply them in your life. I found the part about cutting cords with negative energies very helpful. This is a book I want to have in print so I can refer to it anytime.

This is a wonderful “beyond the basics” guide to using crystals. There are so many texts available for getting started with crystal work...yet so few quality texts for advanced practitioners. This guide is perfect for extending and enriching one’s work with crystals.

As someone who loves researching crystals, I found this book a great addition to my collection. I have read countless books on crystals already and love researching their difference uses. The book does cover the basics, that every crystal books does, but they do it briefly before moving on. With the experience I already have, I appreciate that it didn’t waste my time, but instead covered topics that were new to me. Despite that, this is a book that would be good for beginners too. It is written in a clear concise manner that allows it to be easy to understand.

This book is wonderfully written with easy to use instructions and allows the reader to use or customize what they read into their every day life. I am recommending this to my clients and friends whether you have done a crystal course or not. Even with the Margaret's spiritual belief coming through it is easy access to anyone with any beliefs. I also like how Margaret has added anecdotes of her experience in the instructions. I am differently buy a copy when this is released for my collection in fact this is the book I have been trying to find for years.

Goes into a variety of topics and not another crystal book encyclopedia of some sort. There are some grids bringing in topics to crystals. It is to the point which can be good if reading more personal books. More on the information than anything.

This is a great book about using crystals. Many people think that they are only for use to balance your Chakras. Using them for that is perfectly acceptable, but there are so many other uses for them. Carrying them with you or making bags for different uses are what I use them for. Cleaning your crystals and clearing the space where your crystals are stored or used is included in this book. I loved that the type of crystals that connect them to the Zodiac signs are there as well. A disclaimer was placed for the dangerous way of using crystals such as putting them in water, then drinking the water was covered as well. One of the best books of crystals and how to use them that I have read in a long time. Those that are interested in crystals, this is the book for you. I received this book from Net Galley BooksGoSocial and Llewellyn Worldwide for a honest review and no compensation otherwise. The opinions expressed are my own. I was honored to be able to read this book.

The first thing that brought my attention to this book is it’s about Crystal and I have a big collection of them , another thing that caught my eye was the publisher because I have read several books by this publisher and they are some of the best books I’ve read and the same is true for this book by Margaret Ann Lembo. I found this book very informative. So if your into Crystals and need info on cleansing, etc this is a great book to have....

This is a good book for when you’ve been through multiple beginner books on crystals and need to move on to the next level. You get a brief history and information on choosing and smudging crystals for starters, which I found a little more detailed than what you see in beginner books. From there you get detailed information on various uses such as in meditation, charm bags, essences, and combining crystals and using crystal grids. The author discusses negativity and cord cutting, along with using crystals for help with this also. There is a rather lengthy section on crystals which are best to use for different occupations, and the author ends with how crystals fit with the zodiac and numerology, which was a nice touch because, again, I see very little info in the beginner books I’ve read on numerology an crystals. Everything is greatly expanded upon to advance your practice in an easy to understand way, and my understanding of things (such as how crystals fit with numerology) was much better after reading this. You’ll want to start with a beginner guide if you haven’t gotten that far yet before reading this one, but if you’re ready to move on, this is a great book to help you do that.

I did receive an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I thought this book lived up to its title because it discussed how to actually work with crystals as opposed to just describing their properties. I liked the detailed section on gem elixirs, it was thorough and gave lots of great advice. I thought the section on crystal grids could have been expanded to include information about where certain crystals should be placed on the grid. I wish illustrations were included in this section. 'The Crystal Alignment' chapter was also a great inclusion for this book as most crystal books don't explain how to perform this. I thought the chapter on 'Crystals for Professions' was incredible! I've always had to Google this, so it was nice to have it all compiled into one chapter. As an Astrologer and Bach Flower Practitioner I appreciated both topics being included in this book. This isn't the best book on crystals I have read, but for those looking for a guide on how to practically use them, I recommend 'Crystals Beyond Beginners,' by Margaret Ann Lembo.
