A sweet, small town, kind of "Enemies to Lovers" romance remeniscent of a Hallmark movie!

Bigger city girl moves to town and starts her own doggy daycare. Home town boy who left to chase his dream after a hurtful event with his best friend returns home to the small town he ran away from. A meddling aunt pushes them together!

Fun read. Cute story. AND there are puppies. The cover is absolutely adorable!

Definitely a fun holiday read!

A very enjoyable, romantic and super clean (for those who prefer to read books that contain NO profanity or sex scenes) read. The book was well written and the story was very easy to get involved in. A very good choice for this holiday time of year.

The Christmas Window by Melissa McClone. This is Callie Andrews and Brandt Winslow’s story.

I love the cover which is what drew me to this book. This is for anyone that loves sweet Christmas romances especially ones with a meddling aunt. Silver Falls is a great small town. It was fun watching Brandt and Callie’s relationship develop.

This is sweet Christmas story between doggy care owner Calie and computer geek Brandt. Brandt comes in his hometown after several years and his aunt is playing matchmaker so he ends up on a tour with Callie. Callie and Brand don't have the best first meeting so they are not happy with interference from Brandt's aunt. Soon they get to know each other better, Brandt is more awkward with a social thing so a few times their communication is misunderstood. Because they have both issues he from the past, she became her family they character collide but love finds its way and they have their HEA.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

I liked the slow sweet build up of the romance between Brandt and Callie, and their characters were just so likeable it made it all the sweeter, but one character really added some fun and that was Brandt’s aunt Margot, she is a not so subtle match maker, you just kinda had to keep your eye on her. And Silver Falls being just the kinda small town I enjoy reading about and all the holiday decorating and cheer the story is just so heartwarming till there is some trouble, enough to get my worry wart in gear, so it’s not all just easy reading but it’s a good read I will recommend to friends.

I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I liked this story a lot. This was a sweet romance with small town charm and Christmas magic. I have read a few books by Melissa McClone before and have enjoyed them all.

We meet Callie Andrews who has moved to Silver Falls from California to run a doggy daycare business, Wags and Tails. She felt her parents and older brothers were too controlling and judgmental so she bought a business and moved three years prior. Silver Falls has a window decorating contest for the businesses, and she wants to win it this year as her family is coming to visit. She busies herself with her elaborate design including a waterfall and lots of silver color.

Margot Winslow owns a quilt shop in Silver Falls and her nephew Brandt returns home to visit her for the month. He had owned a high tech business after college in Silver Falls with his ex best friend until he sold the business without his knowledge. The employees were left to find other work, which in a small remote town wasn’t easy. Brandt had been hurt and angry when he learned at the same time as the other employees what Nick had done. He immediately left town and never returned until now.

Callie meets Brandt on the street first, then when he brings his aunt’s dogs to daycare. Brandt isn’t comfortable around dogs and then he tries to tell her what to do with her window decorating and other things. This makes her think he’s dominating like her family and they don’t immediately get along. Margot is a huge matchmaker and she works to pair up Brandt and Callie. She gets it set up for Callie to give Brandt a tour of the town since he moved away. While out, they catch a couple of her doggie clients and the owner rewards them with a dinner at her restaurant.

There is chemistry between Callie and Brandt and lots of time spent together. This builds up to the window competition judging, Callie’s family arriving and where Brandt is going to end up. I encourage everyone to read this 5 star romance.

My first time reading books by this author. Cover really caught my attention because it’s absolutely cute. Story-wise, like reading/watching a Hallmark movie, really nice and cozy. Could have been a shorter breezy read.

I totally enjoyed reading The Christmas Window by Melissa McClone about living life in a small town. Callie, a somewhat newcomer to the town of Silver Falls, runs a doggie daycare. She is determined to win the annual window display competition and prove to her family that she is capable of taking care of herself. Brandt has not been back to Silver Falls since a fall out when his best friend sold their company without his knowledge. Spending time with his favorite aunt is not a difficult task except that she has decided to play matchmaker. Callie and Brandt discover that being paired up is not as awful as they thought. They find lots of holiday surprises but especially a spark of romance as they spend time together. Hopefully, the magic of Christmas will overcome their differences and keep these two together through the coming new year.

Ms. McClone wrote a wonderfully sweet and moving story that is not to be missed. This story is filled with fun dialogue, endearing characters and the magic of a small town. I highly recommend this book to other readers.

Loved this sweet small town holiday romance. Callie and Brandt are caught in the web of a matchmaker when they get teamed up so Callie can show Brandt all the changes in the town. They know they've been played but after a rocky start when they first met they realize they do enjoy hanging out together. Maybe a little too much?

Enjoyed these characters a lot and I really loved all the furry creatures in the story. This is a nice quick read that will leave you with a smile this holiday season. I highly recommend it.

Callie and Brandt meet when he returns to his hometown of Silver Falls after six years away. They meet when he drops off his aunt’s dogs at Callie’s business, Wags and Tails. Neither wants a relationship, but they slowly slip into one. They briefly break up, but soon realize that they love the other. Another happy ending in Silver Falls!

Brandt is back in SilverFalls, visiting his Aunt for the holiday season. Callie Andrews recently moved to Silver Falls and is the owner/operator of the Doggie DayCare. She is determined to win the “Business Association Decorating Contest”.
Can two strong willed people fall in love....

Sweet holiday themed romance for dog lovers! Callie left California for a small town being tired of the overachieving type A family that she feels don’t understand her. She has made a nice home for herself and started a successful dog grooming business. She isn’t interested in romance and doesn’t feel she has the time for it.

Brandt is back in town and drops off his aunt’s dogs and the two meet. At first this is a friendship but there is a spark that becomes more! A little drama and angst (not much, over quickly).

Loved the small town, the holiday theme and the characters. This was a nice enjoyable romance.

Thanks to NetGalley, the author and Tule Publishing for a copy in exchange for a review.

The Christmas Window is a adorable holiday romance. The characters are indearing and the story is like a Hallmark movie. This is well written and we'll recommended.

Melissa McClone writes books that I consider to be true romance: boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy tries to get girl back. There is love beginning to blossom without the need to fall into bed with each other.
The Christmas Window is really about two people, Callie Andrews and Brandt Winslow, who need the balance they could have with each other if they can get out of their own way and let it happen. Her insecurities and his regrets temper their relationship and make this story endearing and captivating.
