Just what you’d expect from Cat & Nat: funny and honest. This is a very quick and easy read. As a mom of 3 kids, I enjoyed reading this one as it really does show us that all moms struggle, but that all our kids want from us, is us. They don’t want the perfect mom, or the fit mom, or the Pinterest mom. I enjoyed how they shared the not so glamorous side of motherhood, because let’s face it, motherhood can be a sh*t show! I only wish I had read this book when my kids were younger, and it seemed like it would never get better. It might seem like you are doing everything wrong some days, and it’s nice to know that other moms are feeling the same way. Some days you will rock it, some days you will feel like a complete failure, and that’s okay.

This would make the perfect baby shower gift, or a gift for a new mom. We all need some humour during these hard stages of motherhood.

Thank you to NetGalley and Penguin Random House Canada for my digital ARC in exchange for a review. As always, my reviews are my own and unbiased opinions.

I really enjoyed this, it was relatable and funny. They share an unfiltered look at life as a mom. It's the perfect book for moms and moms to be, at the very least to see that they're not alone.

I have been watching Cat & Nat on Instagram for a while now and really enjoyed their book. Some of it was definitely topics I have heard covered over the years but overall the book was both extremely relatable and very funny! Their individual personalities really shine through and they come across so truly genuine. A few of their anecdotes makes me laugh out loud as it was almost a mirror image of things I have also gone through as a mother. All moms or moms to be should be reading this - it is so nice to know that in some of the crazy moments you are not alone.

I have really enjoyed reading this book by cat and Nat, who I follow on Instagram and Facebook. This book allows you to hear their voices, as they tell their stories of motherhood in a very humourous way. While it may be a bit scary for a new mom to read this right at the get go, it is great for us who have been doing it for a while.

Thank you to Penguin Random House Canada for a copy of Cat and Nat’s Mom Truths, available today!

Cat and Nat are two Canadian moms who aren’t afraid to show life as a mom without filters. It’s not always as perfect and amazing and heartwarming as it can sometimes seem online and I love these woman for sharing the not so pretty sides and offering a way to connect with other moms.

I wish I had this book available when I was pregnant or had a newborn. That is the phase of motherhood that I would recommend this book for. I am just passed that stage and would have loved to read about others who are going through the endless crying of the first 6 weeks and also feel like you are doing it all wrong. It’s always nice to know that others feel the same as you.

Out today, this would make the perfect baby shower or new mom gift! Short and funny, this may be the only advice book needed during the early months!

This book is absolutely hilarious! I love that they say what most of us are already thinking. Highly recommend this book.

The goal of this book is to "make you laugh when you're feeling low, inspire you when you're feeling overwhelmed, and reassure you when you're feeling defeated." and the authors did just that. I am not a new mom, however, reading their brutally honest look at motherhood made me remember the good and bad feelings I had as a new mom. The book made me laugh, made me cringe, made me tear up a bit, and made me want to call and hug my adult children.

I particularly enjoyed the chapter talking about the things you pack to take to the hospital. How simple it all seemed heading to the hospital for the first time! . The authors hold nothing back and I found myself cringing along with them and at times reliving the 'mom guilt' and found myself wondering if I had had this book years ago if that would have eased the guilt?

This is a great book for new moms and old moms alike.

'Accept that not every moment has to be a perfect moment."

"Girl, it's not just about you anymore."

'Wear the friggin' swimsuit."

'The details of life will fade. Whole years will be reduced to a handful of memories. But kids will never forget how much, how hard, you loved them."

"It's normal not to love every single phase of your kid's upbringing."

Thank you to Penguin Random House Canada for allowing me to read an early copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
