There are lots of books written about missing children and the fear the parents feel. However having a child taken when you are a police officer who works with parents that have lost theirs is probably much harder.
The book is quite fast paced and believable.

Alex Granger loves her daughter . Carol-Anne is only two years old when she is nowhere to be seen.

Ray, Alex's husband, is used to mysteries in his line of work. But can he find their daughter?

I was gripped by this and the storyline is fluid, twisty and exciting. I was praying that Alex and Ray found Carol-Anne. I was upset, worried and riveted by the events.

Steven Edger has a writing style that I liked and I would like to find more books by him after this. An excellent thriller!

Thanks to Stephen Edger and publisher for my ARC in exchange for an honest and voluntary review.

This book had me hooked right from the start. I connected with the characters . Even though the storyline is one that is used quite often, I still really liked this book. This book is every parents worst nightmare. I thought i knew who did it boy was I wrong . The ending was superb.

Little girl gone was a fab book. I loved it and struggled to put it down, read in one sitting I just had to find out the ending. A great book with twists and turns throughout.

When most crimes involving children happen law enforcement look at he parents first. Alex has had mental health problems and was the last person to see her daughter.
There wasn't anything in the storyline until the end that added much excitement. Even the end was pulse pounding or surprising. None of the characters added much to the book. Most of them were blase.

Another fantastic read from Stephen Edger. I was gripped from the start and was disappointed I had to put it down at bedtime and come back later. I devoured it in less than 24 hours. Plenty of twists and turns and I didn't see the ending coming. Can't wait for the next book!

This is the third book i've read by Stephen Edger and I've loved each of them! I was drawn in to this from the first few pages and didn't want to put it down. I did guess who was responsible for Carol-Anne going missing (but not why), but I do read a lot of books in this genre so I am getting better at guessing and anticipating the twist. It certainly wasn't obvious who was responsible, and I did spend a lot of time questioning whether certain events did take place or whether they were a part of Alex's mental health issues.

I thoroughly enjoyed this and already am looking forward to reading more by Stephen in the future. Highly recommend to anyone into this psychological thriller genre!

Every parent has that black curtain they do not ever want to look behind...a child's disappearance. How you'll handle the crisis is not something you can plan. How you go on living with the not knowing...or do you? The book started off strong and kept me engrossed in the story. I found myself talking about the story to friends and recommending they do read or don't read based on their own stories. That's how good it is. Find out for yourself...

The disappearance of a child is a parent's worst nightmare. Stephen Edger brings that horror to light in "Little Girl Gone," a chilling story about a missing child, a cheating husband and a mom who doesn't know what, or who, to believe.

Alex Granger leaves her little girl in a locked door as she pays for a parking space. When she returns, the girl is gone. No witnesses, no proof of a crime, nothing. The lack of evidence even has her detective husband doubting what happened.

The police appoint a liaison to stay with Alex as her husband stays away from home more and more, often on the job, but also in the arms of a mystery lover. As the hours and days tick by, Alex loses faith in herself, the police and all that she knows.

This psychological thriller is a page-turner. Unexpected twists are thrown up as roadblocks, leaving readers unable to guess what's next. It's those blind curves that make it hard to put down this novel until it slams into an ending no one sees coming.

This book had the potential to be a great read. Lots of twists and turns, lead after lead that was a dead end, but I never felt a connection to the characters. That makes or breaks a book for me, and this one just didn’t do it.

This is the first book I have read by Stephen Edger but it won’t be the last. This book was extremely well written, interesting and engrossing. I read it in a day. The storyline was very clever and the twists and turns are superbly done.

A decision that can turn your world upside down - do you leave your child strapped in her car seat for 2 minutes, or do you take her out in the pouring rain with you? Alex decided that as she could see her car from where she was, there was no point in taking Carol-Anne out in the pouring rain for just a minute or so. That decision came back to haunt her. Carol-Anne was not in her car seat when Alex returned! Alex called her husband Detective Ray, but as he was so close to the case, he was not allowed to assist in her search. Then Alex receives a note.
This psychological thriller is well written and will keep you guessing.
