A fast-paced thriller about how one event can send your life spiraling out of control. The mothers/son dynamic is a welcome change from the usual husband/wife pairings of most domestic thrillers. Recommended buy for collections where the genre is popular

This was a quick and entertaining read. I read it in two days. There were definitely twists and turns, some predictable and some that kept you guessing. The characters could have been developed more, the lack of depth made it so I really wasn't invested in any of the characters and really didn't care all that much for the outcome. And many of them, especially the mother and Ross made such horrible decisions and I was losing patience with them. Nevertheless it did keep my attention and was a decent read. Thank you for the ARC copy.

A Haiku Review of One Fatal Mistake by Tom Hunt

Her son kills a man
Together they cover it up
Then all hell breaks loose

Thanks to Berkley Publishing and NetGalley for a copy in return for this honest haiku – I mean review.

A good, quick read. Kept me occupied all afternoon and into the evening. Interesting plot, creepy characters, and just all around entertainment. NOT literature, but great fun. Four stars.

Tom Hunt draws the reader in with One Fatal Mistake. Great plot line and highly believable characters make this a great read.
