I had read the original Laws of the the Sun many many years ago, when I was too young and prideful to accept the lessons that Ryuho was teaching. In this updated copy it was amazing how much I have seen the Laws play out and still try to play against them. I liked the ideology and topics and how to live according to the Laws of the Sun

In preface, at just hello, the author already sounds very defensive. Why? It already sets a question into a motion. Is this information credible?

In the first chapter, the author already hopes that the Buddha’s Truth will “be cherished by all our brothers and sister on Earth,” instead of simply presenting facts and observations.

Not only that, the way the text is written, there is a lot of “you” attacking. “If you can call him a madman, you should come forward and prove to the world that you are sane.”

I cannot proceed reading a text, which doesn’t seem credible to me.

The Laws of the Sun is not a light read. Ryuho Okawa is a very intelligent teacher and author. This book is for everyone and to teach a deeper meaning of life.
