I enjoy books by Lynette they have amazing truth and portray reallife struggles. This didn’t disappoint me, as I learnt more about what God has called me to be and do.

This book definitely does not disappoint. Like the others in this series, it starts with action and is fast-paced through the entire novel. I couldn't put it down. It's an absolute must-read for anyone who enjoys Lynette Eason's work or the other books in the series. My only issue? I have to wait so long for the next book!

Boy, that was intense!

In 48 hours, Emily Chastain has been kidnapped, shot at more than once, hit by a bullet, almost killed, and the list goes on. And you might be wondering how she comes out without being traumatized for life? Well, it's merely impossible if wonderful souls haven't shown up in her life, one of those souls being detective Brady St. John.

I really have been enjoying a lot this series! The dynamic, the relationship between the St John family, and the suspense. Though this book is mostly plot-driven, I'm impressed by how Lynette Eason masterfully draws out the personal side of the characters, letting them grow through the story.

I'm looking forward to reading Linc's story!!

This is book three in the Blue Justice series. I believe it is a stand alone book, yet you do miss some history of the St. John family.

The handsome detective Brady St. John must help and protect Emily Chastain. Yet Emily will help Brady in ways he never expected. Emily has a lot to overcome, will she be able to trust Brady and stay alive long enough to solve this mystery?

This novel is full of mystery, loyalty, family, forgiveness, suspense, romance and so much more. I look forward to book four.

Wow! Incredible finish to the Blue Justice series by Lynette Eason. This story focuses on Detective Brady St. James but also includes the continuation of stories of his siblings and their jobs and romances. If you haven't read the first 2 books in the series, I highly recommend both of them. This book can stand alone, but will be much more enjoyable with knowledge of all of the characters from the series. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat with the suspense, keep you cheering for the good guys and will remind you about the joy of romance. Enjoy!

Code of Valor is a fast-paced suspense containing some intense scenes that are quite descriptive. From beginning to end, there is no lag time in this story. Eason’s writing is tight and detailed, showing her powerful skills with a pen or keyboard as it nowadays.

Even though I read the first two novels, I had a hard time keeping up with all of the characters in this one. There are a lot of them; good guys and bad guys. I’m still not sure I completely understand the complexity of the wrap-up other than it was about money but it’s still a page-turner I recommend to fans of Christian contemporary suspense.

My friend, Rebecca, sent me a paperback copy but I also received an electronic copy from the publisher through Netgalley. No review required. No compensation received.

Another great suspense in the Blue Justice Series. This series just keeps getting better and better! There's not a dull moment in this brainy, yet fast moving thrill ride. Brady is one of the St John siblings who are all in one law enforcement branch or another. He is on a much needed vacation, but quickly becoming bored, when all hell breaks loose nearby ... and his vacation is boring no longer!

I appreciated that Emily is not model beautiful and skinny too boot. She's much more average, but her warmth and intelligence add to her beauty. She, like many of us, is slow to realize that she has the many good qualities that she does.

My only complaint with this story is that I quickly, and often, lost track of the many supporting characters and, in particular, the 'bad guys'. Who? What? I wish I'd been able to keep all of that straight. I did, however, love seeing the characters from Lynn Blackburn's Dive Team Investigations Series. Nicely done ladies!

Code of Valor starts off strong and keeps going! Emily Chastain is snatched shortly after her best friend goes missing. She is saved from near-certain death by Detective Brady St. John who has taken time off to rejuvenate at a friend’s lakeside cabin. From there, the high-octane story explodes, and the pair are on a race against time to discover who is after Emily (and why) and what happened to her best friend. This is a Christian novel, but, except for a small bit in the middle of the novel, it is not too preachy. Most of the Christian element evolves naturally from the storyline itself. While this is the third novel in the Blue Justice series, I had no problem reading it as a standalone. I will be checking out the first two novels in the series.

Note: I received an ARC of Code of Valor from NetGalley and Revell. The above is my honest review.

Code of Valor is the third book in a series. I recommend reading the series in order. It's a great action mystery story. The main characters have a good dynamic relationship as the story progresses. The are also likeable and entertaining. The one bad thing is the number of characters is a lot. It gets confusing at times. Overall a good read and a good series. Thanks to NetGalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

Lynette always gives her readers what they want. Have enjoyed getting to know all of the wonderful St. James family. Brady’s story had everything that has me readin Lynette’s stories: intrigue, romance and a guessing game until the very last page. Thank you.

Emily is a financial investigator at a bank. Imagine her surprise when one day she sees an old high school boyfriend (whom things ended very badly with) in her boss's office. She begins looking into his accounts and sees very suspicious activity, which she passes on to her best friend, Heather. Heather is a reporter for a newspaper.
Heather is missing, following a frantic 911 call stating a man is approaching her car wearing a ski mask and carrying a gun. Heather cannot open her car doors to attempt to escape. This leads to the police not being able to locate Heather or her car.
Then, Emily's life is in danger as she is kidnapped and taken out on a boat to die. Who saves her but Detective Brady who is at a friend's lake house on vacation. Emily begins working with detectives and FBI trying to locate her friend, Heather and determine what is going on. Meanwhile, Emily is being shot at every time she turns around, it would seems.
This story is action packed. I was not able to predict the ending at all. While I did enjoy the story, there were so many characters that I had difficulty keeping them all straight. Emily also did many stupid things knowing full well that her life was in danger. It also seemed the police pretty much put her in the role of an officer involving her extensively in the case. If you can overlook those things, you're in for an adrenaline ride!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Revell through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

Code of Valor is the third book in Lynette Eason's Code of Valor series. Brady St. John's vacation is abruptly interrupted when he hears a piercing scream and sees a shadowy figure trying to a kill a woman. Emily Chastain is the woman in danger and is on the cusp of unearthing a financial conspiracy that goes much deeper. Eason produces another nail biting thriller as Brady and Emily try to find out who is behind it and stay alive at the same time. I read it in one setting and encourage you to make time for this fantastic book.

Code of Valor was written by Lynette Eason, and is the third book in the Blue Justice series.
Summary: Detective Brady St. John doesn’t really know how to take a break, but when he finally convinces himself he is ready for a vacation at his friend’s cabin, he becomes embroiled in the ride of his life. After all, nothing screams vacation like rescuing a kidnapping victim that is about to be murdered.
Emily Chastain has no idea what is happening to her. One moment she is simply leaving her office, and the next she is kidnapped, and tied to a boat being driven out into the middle of a lake-presumably where her life will end.
What is going on? Why is Emily in danger? And will Brady be able to keep her safe?
My Thoughts: I liked this story. It was definitely full of action and suspense. If you enjoyed the first two books, this one will be up your alley as well. You don’t have to have read the first two books to enjoy this one though.
However, do note that there is a substantial number of characters in this series that have already been established coming into the book. This book adds a ton more characters, and I found this to be my biggest stumbling block when reading it. It made it a bit challenging to be reading through a suspenseful part, and then need to stop and figure out who was who.
Other than that, it was a fun and entertaining book, and I enjoyed reading it. Lynette Eason writes great books, and I look forward to reading what she comes out with next.
I would like to thank Revell for providing me with a free copy of this book for my honest review. Thank you!

This suspense series by Lynette Eason is one to dig into, for sure, but this title wasn’t my favorite. There was definitely all the right touches — intrigue, romance, suspense. Everything you’d expect from this author, but some of it didn’t ring true for me. It did keep my interest til the end and I liked how the family ties together the series.

I have read all of the Blue Justice books. They are all in depth and fast-paced. There are so many siblings that it is very hard to keep them all straight and for me, it gets confusing at times. This was a good book and I would read the next one, also.

This was such an Awesome book! Steady suspenseful plot, great characters including characters from the other 2 books in this series which I have read. They can be read as stand alone books or in order as a series.

I really liked Emily’s determination and character in this story. She had a very hard past but she didn’t let that define her and stop her from achieving a good life. Detective Brady is literally thrown in to meeting Emily in the first couple chapters after rescuing her and it’s fast paced, suspenseful drama from beginning to end.

Some (clean) romance, no bad language or graphic violence. The characters and story line are not predictable and it kept me on the end of my seat.

I couldn’t put this book down until I was done reading it! I liked reading more about the St John family and can’t wait to read more from this series.

Lynette Eason is one of my favorite authors and she has it another homer with this book. Code of Valor is a terrific romantic suspense that pulled me immediately into the plot fast paced plot. Suspense fans will not be disappointed. I received an arc from Netgalley and this is my unbiased review.

Intense! If you like suspense and aren't bothered breading about murder and blood, you will want to read Code of Valor! Emily is a brave female protagonist trying to find out what has happened to her close friend, Heather! Although estranged from her mother and sister, Emily will do anything to protect them when their lives are threatened. Brady is a detective who is angry with God and not looking for romance after his former girlfriend ended up being a drug addict. Code of Valor has lots of action and danger. Emily shows that everyone needs a chance to turn to God. I recommend Code of Valor to those who enjoy books involving police and detectives. I received an e-book through NetGalley. This is my honest opinion.
