Whoah! My first JA Huss full length novel and it blew me away! Was it erotica? Was it mystery? Was it suspense? Was it romance? All of the above, I think. I know one thing, I was hooked, I was mesmerised, I was desperate to get my hands on THAT book. I was desperate to find out what would happen at the end of THIS story. Brilliantly clever, wonderfully written and I’ll let you in on a little secret.....whatever you think is happening.....you’re wrong. So many little twists and plot turns, all getting ready for the grand finale. A story that will stay with me for a long long time. I loved Connor and Kiera, I was desperate for them to get a HEA. Is that even possible for a Senator and an erotica author? What is the real story here? Who is telling the truth? How do you write a review without giving anything away? You can’t - well I for one can’t. All I can say is, All is not as it seems. I absolutely loved it. 5 ‘what the hell’s happening?’ stars. This started to intrigue me from the very first pages. The fact that the story revolves around so many characters, makes it different. Even when the story mostly revolved around Connor sometimes I liked his friend better since he was the one really under control. The one pushing for answers. Because let me tell you, there will be many questions. These characters are messed up, sad and frustrating. Aside from that they have a strong bond and a connection full of desires and care. This is a mystery withing a mystery and is full of surprises. You wont see it coming but you will love it.

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet & erotic romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

Dirty Ones was steaming hot, unexpected, dark and mysterious. I didn’t realize what I was getting into and absolutely couldn't tell by reading the blurb. On the other hand I was quite intrigued.

This book was amazing, sort of psycho thriller but still romance with lots of steaming hot scenes that will make you hungry for more. Chapter after chapter will have you on pins and needles and your thirst to know what the heck happend all these years ago won't be satisfied until the end. Yeah you could guess and you’ll be eager to get to that point where the mystery is finally revealed. BUT! You won't realise what's going on until you finish and finally find out the truth AT THE VERY END!

That’s how good this book is peeps. I devoured the whole book in one day. Seriously couldn't put it down!

This book had me somewhat confused in the beginning, it’s J.A.Huss so you just go with it LOL.
This book has a lot of CLUE references, and it’s kinda like that but in its own twisted erotic way.
It’s kept me wondering what the heck was going on, and I wanted to read much faster than my mind would’ve comprehended.
You knew something was up, and was given pieces here and there but you didn’t know the actual truth behind things till the very end.
And your given a great Epilogue with a good HEA.
WELL DONE!
This is a recommended read for sure!
Would I read more from this Author? Heck Yeah!

My first piece of advise……head the warning at the start. "Our story is not for everyone. It's not even for us. So if you're looking for the fairy tale and the stupid prince on his dumb white horse, move along. You've got the wrong book." That said, OMG, what an exhilarating ride! J.A. Huss is a new author for me, but I will definitely be adding this talented writer to my must read list.

The Dirty Ones is jam-packed with mystery, intrigue, and all the added elements that go hand in hand with psychological thrillers. Readers are kept on the edge of their seats throughout the entire story, with a multitude of twists and turns that are often explosive. But this is what happens when the past comes back to bite you, and you have no idea who is responsible for the dire turn of events that plagues your current existence.

This is undoubtedly a sizzling erotic novel, but it is also much more. I haven’t read a storyline this authentic in…well I can’t remember how long, and the characters are genuine and totally believable in each of their roles. So if you like your sex, down right dirty, with a “who done it” plot and some serious mind blowing scheming too, then this book will rock your world. Thank you J.A. Huss for a fabulous read!

OH. MY. GOD.
I finished this book over 12 hours ago, and I have not stopped thinking about it! I've replayed in my mind the events in the story that took place over and over again. This book is going on my re-read shelf because I KNOW I will re-read it again - just wow.
This was a SOLID five star read for me.
J.A. Huss isn't new to me, I've read a few of her books over the years, but this book BLEW MY MIND. Psychological Romances are my WEAKNESS, and this author delivered with all the mindfuckery. It's not like anything I've ever read before. I look forward to future releases from Huss from now on if this is what she capable of.
I went into this fiction masterpiece blind - well besides reading the blurb. I spent the first couple of chapters trying to figure out what was going on - I was a bit confused but very intrigued.
After reading through, I'm glad I didn't have any spoilers - because WHAT A GOOD MINDFUCK!! When the twists were revealed and the light bulb in my little head went off, I stared at my kindle with wide eyes and a hanging open jaw - because WOW! This author deserves a round of applause for this well thought out storyline.
Not only is this book well written but it's seriously HOT - like panty-melting hot.
If you are like me and prefer your reads to have suspense, mindfuckery and be well plotted - then buy this book. You will not be disappointed.

Well huh...I'm not even sure what or how to write this review. I'm still sitting here thinking about my experience while reading this book. I kept thinking to myself what is going on? What the ever loving heck is happening right now? OH! I get it! Then in the next breath I'm like nope, not even close. I know my mouth was hanging open, my eyes glued to my reader trying to figure out what was going to happen next and being consistently surprised on what actually did. Mind blown lol

Friends in their senior year brought together by circumstances and then a notebook. Those same friends 10 years later, some have kept in touch, some not. What will they do when they read this book?

I did think that Connor and Kiera getting back together so quickly was a little far fetched but honestly everything else about this book just sucked me in!!

This book was not at all what I expected it to be. I don't think the blurb hints about anything that would have been vitally important in my decision to select this book. I was in the mood for erotica, and this book showed up amongst the suggestions. There are definitely scenes which fit that genre, but overall, this book is more of a psychological mind meld. I wasn't sure who was speaking a lot of the time, despite the chapter titles. The relationships between the main characters are kept vague and although the backstory features prominently, there is just very little which led me to believe the main relationship was an honest one.
If I had had any inkling of where this story was to go (and believe me, I was almost convinced I'd picked up another book at times) I would have passed. I'm all for escaping into different realities when I read a book, but this was more than a step too far for me.

Well if I didn’t believe in the #BuddySystem before, I am a firm believer now!

As I entered this book, I was a bit confused about what had transpired many years ago. This group of friends, had gone through something together back when they were seniors in college. Other than the weekly ‘meetings’ they attended, slowly this book unravels to tell us what they went through….and eventually caused this group of friends to grow apart… Well some of them.

Now here it is 10 years later, and they are all brought back together. Panic striking them as they are trying to figure out who would have done this to them? After all this time, why now bring it up…10 years later?

I read this book and the majority of the time, I was trying to figure out who what, when, where and why? Then at the end of the book, I was like Ohhhhhh…now I get it. What a twist that hit me like I was falling from a tower!

If you are into reading psychological thrillers, this book would be for you. I am a dark reader and didn’t find this book to be dark at all. Understanding that every person reads at different darkness levels.

Talk about a shocker! I was not expecting this book to be alluring and suspenseful as it was, I was captured from the very first page and was on the edge of my seat until the very last page! A warning, this is no sweet romance!

I went into The Dirty Ones blind and I'm so happy I did.
This book left me so happy after reading it as I'm known for guessing the outcome of books pretty early on in the storyline yet this one kept me guessing throughout.
I was totally blown away by this storyline as it captivated me from the start and kept my attention throughout the book.
J.A. Huss is a fantastic author and this book definitely didn't disappoint me.
I loved every second of reading this book and I highly recommend you one click it as soon as you can.

Holy crap what a wild ride!! Six college students, one secret society filled with sex, drugs and secrets. Once you start this book you will not be able to put it down. Each chapter the reader gets more involved in the sexual encounters, deception and friendships that were all brought out together because someone wanted to hide a secret. I found myself not knowing what was the truth and what was a lie made to look like a truth and the final outcome is totally not what I was expecting. The friendships will start the journey and the secrets will end them all. Beautifully written and a definite page turner.

Weeeeelll idk this book in the beginning drive me crazy! It was more of a " you know what happened! No! You know what happened! " that kind of goes back and forth for quite a while and them never telling you what happened!! It drive me crazy!! I'm like just spit it out!! Lol anyway this was a hard one for me to like it was all over the place, I just couldn't get into it. Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

Mystery, suspense and let's not forget some dark erotica. This book definitely had a "How to Get Away with Murder" and "I Know What You Did Last Summer" kind of vibe. It will definitely keep you turning pages.
