Wow! Sometimes, the right book just comes along at the right time... As a former marathoner who is now struggling with chronic health issues, I could not have asked for a better read than this book. The author puts into words everything that I feel....and that those around me cannot seem to understand. She puts it all out there, the history, the drive, the heartwrenching present, and then she adds her perspective, which comes from the gift of hindsight. She really made me think about things from a different point of view and consider how this road could have been different. She has given me inspiration and hope for this unexpected future!
