I'm new to mangas but after reading this one, I'm sold! The graphics are so good, and the story is interesting, especially for my granddaughter, to whom I read this!

The Descendants is one of my favorite Disney series (because we're all Disney kids at heart), so I jumped at the chance to read and review this book. Evie and her fashion sense are especially fun for my granddaughter, so we had a lot of fun with this story.

I highly recommend this book to all Disney lovers, old and young, with a special emphasis on The Descendants.

Evie trata de competir en el concurso de diseño de Auradon pone todo su empeño ya que pretende usar el premio para los niños de la Isla de los perdidos, me encanta la historia, el dibujo y las sorpresas con las que nos encontramos ya que Evie tendra un dificil camino para poder vencer y ganar.

I am a fan of this series. I have watched the movies and even own a couple of book in hardcover. I love how no matter what Evie faces she never forgets to be herself. She does sometimes lack a little confidence, but it does not take her long with the help of friends and kind words to get her back on track. I don't want to tell you too much. It is good for young readers. It is the first part in a trilogy so be warned cliffhanger.

Evie’s Wicked Runway Book 1 by Natsuki Minami is a graphic novel and part of a trilogy. I liked it and would like to read the other books. It features characters from Disney’s Descendants movie. It is about Evie who is very good with design and is eager to enter a national design competition. But, something gets in her way. If you are a fan of the characters you’ll like this graphic novel, but if not then you might not find it very interesting. It does stay true the movie’s characters. It is a quick read, but leads to the next book because it kinda has a “to be continued” ending. The illustrations were colorful and bright with a good design.

A mostly okay comic. I can't say that I like the drawing style all that much. The overall story is kind of boring.

Evie can't wait to enter Auradon's national design competition. She wants to use the prize to help other kids on the isle. What Evie isn’t aware is that one of her own classmate's plots against her and is trying to set her up to fail.

I really loved the drawings and the story. Since it’s a second book, I can’t wait to read the next one in the series to find out what happens!

I read this book with my cousins, and they really enjoyed this book, they really wanted to read the next book and were excited to see the story unfold.

I love the "Descendants," and I did not even know these books existed.
The story follows Evie, the daughter of Snow White's witch, who goes to a fashion contest, to represent the school. But there is a girl who likes nothing of not being chosen and can find a way to also go to the contest, trying to make life difficult for Evie.
Loved the story, though short. With all the important characters present, we witness a history of friendship and companionship, and also a lot of evil. I recommend it to anyone who likes the movies.

This was a quick easy graphic novel that I got from NetGalley, which was easy to read and follow along with, which is exactly why I requested this one and why I wanted to read it. I wanted something light and child like, that wasn't going to draining and suck at my emotions and feeling.

This just took me away from some of my more emotional reads of late, which was perfect. It is a children's graphic novel, so you can expect to find the bold and overly bright colours, as oppose to the adult graphic novels I've read lately, such as The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina. 


The storyline was okay. It did what I wanted it to, but again I wasn't it's intended audience. It didn't really explain the characters, but that could be because it's a graphic novel and the only other one I've read are the Sabrina series. I think children, even young teenagers would enjoy this, but on saying that, this graphic novel did leave of on a bit of a cliffhanger, which I now want to know how it continues. So maybe age isn't an issue, it just depends on your mood, the writing and the story content.


I do enjoy reading children's book to break up big reads, or continual emotional or troublesome reads, and I don't know if I'm the only one. Let me know. But I find it helps. I usually fly through, I get that sense of accomplishment and it's usually a fun and exciting read.

I love the Descendants. They are two of my favorite movies and as I am eagerly awaiting the third movie, this Manga was just perfect for me.
Not only did I meet my favorite characters and got to know more bout Evie, but this Manga made me just the more excited for the movie.
Definitely enjoyable for all Descendants Fans.

As a Disney fan and a lover of the Descendants, I was pleased to see that the themes of fun, friendship and being rue ti yourself were carried throughout this book. The pictures were fun and the storyline was sweet. Probably suit 8yrs-12 so not really my age bracket but still a good read.

It was a cute little comic, but I'd rather seem more of all the VKs and have it not just centered on one.

My daughter loved this book. She loves the Descendants so it's great to have a book that's not just a retelling of the movies. The illustrations were well done and the story plot kept my daughter interested.

Really cute! My daughter really enjoyed this. Evie is her favorite since they both enjoy fashion. We both thought the story was fun and the illustrations were very cute. She is super excited to continue the trilogy! As a parent I definitely approve.

This was a cute read, and will be great for the younger/middle grade crowd that is a fan of The Descendants. I liked that it was the anime style, and the story was cute, staying true to the characters.

I just finished this comic and I really enjoyed it. I really liked the plot and how the elements were following each others. There were also important values such as friendship or to be true that are really important to give to our children. The princessy world was well made and I totally got in story from the beginning. The drawings were very pretty. I was not expecting the book to turn out that way and I was surprised which is a good thing. I totally recomment this book and I cannot wait to read the following books. I want to know what happens to Evie!

My daughter really enjoyed this book! She specifically liked the fact that it didn't use huge words, and was well-written for an older child.
