Really enjoyed this book. Characterisation was great, good plot line with an unusual premise. Was a very visual book, I can see it being optioned for a film or tv production. I also love a happy ending!

Well, this quirky book just makes up my day, I started reading this yesterday and well, I couldn’t but help getting excited when I read the synopsis , yes its completely cliché and what you say illogical, but you cant help but get excited reading.
I was really down and particularly unwell , when I read this , finished in just five hours max .. The story in short, I loved
Tiffy and Leon share a flat
Tiffy and Leon share a bed
Tiffy and Leon have never met..

I loved the last part ,” Tiffy and Leon have never met..” they have never meet and that’s such a cute adorable part , they live in the same house but at different times and they communicate through post it notes. What I loved was the quirkiness of the characters , Tiffy and Leon .

Funny, clever, and with a super smart concept, I've whizzed through The Flatshare at every #commute opportunity! Yes, at it's heart is a romantic love story told from the perspective of two quirky, slightly damaged, massively interesting characters, but the author has so carefully woven threads of trust, loneliness, isolation, identity and even toxic #MeToo issues throughout, that it never feels sickly sweet. Original, hopeful and joyful, I thoroughly enjoyed every page!

Tiffy has finally properly broken up with her ex, she's moving out of his flat and is in need of a new place to live. But on an assistant editor salary in London, she doesn't have much to choose from. It's either a moldy and poky flat or a rather peculiar arrangement with a palliative nurse named Leon who works nights and is offering his flat and bed from 6pm to 9am for a very affordable sum.
Tiffy chooses the second option and starts to get to know her flatmate through notes left around the house.
Told from Tiffy and Leon's point of view, The Flatshare is a lovely and funny story, which is hard to put down.

Wow. I really, really loved this book, even more than I expected to. I went in expecting an endearing love story, and I got that and much more. I got an emotional, heartfelt, well written, funny and wonderful story with brilliant characters that feel so real they may as well have been turning the pages for me. Tiffy and Leon's connection was so realitically drawn and a real sow burn, so when they finally did get together, it really felt earned, and so romantic. I loved it!

I really wanted to love this book and the first third was hugely promising. However, it just became a little bit too predictable and a ltitle too frivolous for me and I found myself racing through the last few chapters,

Absolutely lovely, a perfect read for all season. It'll warm you up with fuzzy feelings in the winter months, and it's a definite beach bestseller!

I absolutely loved this book! It’s such a sweet, beautiful story that will have you hooked straightaway. I couldn’t wait to find out what would happen to all the characters in the book.
This will definitely be a standout of 2019 and one that I would recommend strongly.

An overall lovely, quirky and colourful novel; although the plot is hardly relatable, the characters definitely are. It isn't a page turner or a tear jerker, but the storyline is amusing enough for a snatched holiday read or a commute.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I was shocked at how long it was when I first started to read, but it soon had me hooked. The two main characters narrate the story, but each has their own style of story writing/telling, almost as if two people had written the book. All the characters were believable and were well described. This book covered so many genres, but ultimately it is chic lit. The only minor fault is that I would have liked to have known what happened to the other characters. I would recommend this book to anyone with time on their hands because you won’t want to put it down.

Couldn't put the book down as was desperately trying to find out what would happen next to Leon and Tisha. Beautiful story and made me feel all warm in my heart as it reminds me the story of me and my husband. Beautiful book, beautiful characters...

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It touches all one's emotions throughout it's telling and is utterly delightful with well drawn, on the whole, likeable characters who evoke empathy. I loved the whole idea of the flat share having bought a 3-bed house sometime ago which had been shared by at least 12 cabin crew (before the landlord sold) who were on different rotas and left behind an eclectic collection of belongings, including several discarded 'notes'.

The story flowed well and was an easy well written read with plenty of uplifting and feel good factors along the way. The first person dialogue is split between the two main characters which is clearly set out at the start of each chapter who it is and then goes to record the dialogue with no unnecessary padding and overuse of adverbs.

A delight to read and book to transport one away from the mundane.

I was excited to read this book after seeing it in so many 2019 preview articles. I did enjoy the book, but possibly not as much as I expected to - I think because I found the initial set-up/premise a bit too contrived/unbelievable, and the scene on the beach at the end was just too much. Once I'd gotten over that, I really believed in their love story and found it so powerful that I even shed a tear or two. A lovely read by an author I'm excited to see more from

The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary a five-star read that you won’t want to share. I don’t know where to start with this review as the first time I tried picking this read up I put it down after a couple of chapters, but then someone was raving about it and I though eughh I will give it a go, I hate not finishing anything. What can I say other than I’m so glad I did, I loved it. There was something so heart-warming about this one, I adored Leon and his passion for his patients. The descriptions and secondary characters were great and the story from Tiffy and her struggle she has a job she loves but doesn’t pay her enough and an ex that she just can’t or won’t quit. The main think I adored about this story though were the post-It notes just the simple way of communicating was sweet and dramatic at the same time. This will definitely be one of those reads that will stay with you for a long time, if like me you don’t get sucked in, in the first couple of chapters keep going as I promise you, you won’t be disappointed.

This book is written in such a ya that as a reader I could relat to what the characters were going through. Beth O’Leary has written this in such a way that it gives you every emotion on the page.
Makes you smile, laugh, heartfelt. There is also a fluidity to the writing and story.
Thank you to both NetGalley and Quercus Books for my eARC of this book in exchange for my honest unbiased review

This is an absolute gem of a book. Starts out as an amusing yet realistic portrayal of the grim realities of property rental. It gradually morphs into a tale of two people who are trying to find their place in the world and deal with the difficulties that life has thrown at them. For Tiffy, a publishing assistant, it's finding somewhere to live after breaking up with her longterm boyfriend Justin. And for Leon, a palliative care nurse, it''s about finding some extra cash to pay for his brother's lawyer. But they don't meet despite sharing a flat, so the book is played out through a series of notes, which reveal insights into their characters and their trials and tribulations.

It's a beautiful yet raw book that displays emotions and provides insights into every day agonies. It's really something special and will be the sensation of 2019!! I wish it every success and it's a well deserved 5* from me.
