If you're interested in a very short Christmas novella fit into your hectic schedule at this time of the year, get this book. 61 pages total.

This is another contemporary Christian romance novella which you'll enjoy for a very light reading. it was a delight to read it.

Don't let this cover fool you. The story is based in Arizona. This is a couple who were basically set up by their female relatives after being informed that they're not interested in blind date. They happened to meet by "chance" by their relatives and they are attracted to each other. They have known each other when they were kids growing up.

They learn more about each other and their beliefs and their political views. Down the road, the hero gets an job offer which the heroine warns him against due to the corrupted political involvement and company. They get into an argument and the heroine stands firmly what she believes in and walks away from him for good. He gets angry. However, his reasoning with himself gets him to dig deeper into the investigation of the company and the man who wants to hire him. Turns out she was right. He does all the right moves. He asks the girl for forgiveness after all the work he's done to correct the wrongs that the corrupted company had done.

I'd give it a high 3 stars for this short novella.

I recently finished reading White Christmas by Tanya Stowe. I really enjoyed this book! It is short but sweet.

White Christmas is set in the White Mountains of Arizona. Politician Chad Fletcher (whose term in the state assembly recently finished) is spending Christmas with his great-aunt in eastern Arizona. He is considering a bid for senate, but is still reeling from a broken engagement. While attending the Christmas festivities in the small rural community of White, he meets Tessa, who is the granddaughter of his great-aunt’s best friend in town. Chad’s great-aunt and Tessa’s grandmother are painfully obvious in their matchmaking efforts for the two. But even without the matchmaking, sparks are flying between Chad and Tessa. Tessa is an analyst for Citizens for Political Reform, so she has a non-elected background in politics too. Chad is afraid to fall in love again, and Tessa wants him to believe that he can indeed have a happily-ever-after. But she starts to fall for him in the process of trying to convince him that love can be in his future!

Chad and Tessa spend a lot of time together over the holidays, but then something totally unexpected comes up and threatens their budding relationship. Will Chad pick a questionable career as a lobbyist over Tessa?

I highly recommend this book! It only takes a couple of hours to read, so it’s perfect during the busy holiday season when one doesn’t have a ton of time to read something long. I also appreciated that the author incorporated Christian values into the book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley for this review. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions expressed are my own.

White Christmas is a charming, Christian Christmas romance. Ms. Stowe develops the relationship between Chad and Tessa in a way that does not seem rushed for a novella. You get to see them laugh about the way Tessa’s grandmother Sophie and Chad’s Aunt Nell try to push them together. Chad and Tessa agreed to not let the little old ladies pair them up, but it continues to happen anyway.

Tessa knows Chad has had a bad breakup while she believe she is meant not to marry. The two of them begin to realize how very much they have in common and decide to give it a try. But, along comes the job offer that may tear them apart. Tessa is not willing to compromise on that which she truly believes.

This is a sweet, quick read for a cold, Christmas afternoon. This is my first Tanya Stowe book. I look forward to more from her.
