This is such an engaging story that will delight to no end. Alden Marshall is bent on leaving his vet business in Snowfall because of a long time grudge that some people of the town have against his great grandfather and just will not let it go. Maggie Iverson has been hired to revamp the town’s website to spark renewed interest and draw back visitors. Their meeting and times together help both of them come to terms with the odds in their respective lives and solve Alden’s major problem.

I loved the picturesque , small town of Snowfall, Vermont with its quaint shops, friendly people, Wintersong Lodge, oh and I cannot forget the Marshall Christmas Curse. The town also has, Ezzie Donovan, a cute, older lady who runs the Wintersong Lodge and does matchmaking on the side. The banter between Maggie Iverson, who was hired from Boston to promote the struggling resort town and Alden Marshall, the local vet who just happens to be related to the Marshall Christmas Curse family makes the story fun, and enjoyable. It is a book that I curled up with and could not put down. I am definitely putting this book on my read again list and adding this author to my list of authors I love to read. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

Christmas Comes to Snowfall is a lovely seasonal novella that has wonderful descriptions of the picturesque landscape of the small town of Snowfall, Vermont. The author depicts the quaintness of the Wintersong Lodge, the charming and friendly townsfolk, and let’s not forget the Marshall Christmas Curse. The cast is engaging, but the show is ultimately stolen by Ezzie Donovan; the enchanting senior citizen who runs the Wintersong Lodge and dabbles in matchmaking just to pass the time. An easy story to get wrapped up in, and not put down till the very end; Christmas Comes to Snowfall is just delightful.

I requested this novella from NetGalley because I really wanted to start getting into the Christmas mood (despite the fact it’s not quite been Halloween yet) and this looked like a lovely Christmas romance.

This novella is about Maggie, who comes to the little town of Snowfall as she was hired to put them back on the tourism map, and Alden, a vet whose grandfather supposedly did this horrible thing to curse Snowfall. Both of them have their excuses to not getting in a relationship right now but they can’t help getting closer.

This is a book you enjoy with a cup of hot chocolate and a plate of Christmas biscuits by your side. It’s a really heartwarming romance where Alden and Maggie get closer as Maggie explores Snowfall and it’s old traditions. Both of them are dedicated to their jobs and I liked how both of them seemed to really love their jobs, especially since their jobs were so different.

Snowfall is a lovely setting, very Christmassy, with its minor characters making the setting perfect. Ezzie is a matchmaker but one that cooks a nice meal for the couple and leaves them to enjoy it, rather than the kind of locking them in a closet together (which I’m not such a fan of). The main plot of the book is everyone is waiting for the yearly Christmas snow, their claim to fame, and the run-up to Christmas.

This is a really lovely Christmas novella and perfect to get people into the spirit for Christmas! 4 stars.

This was a wonderful sweet holiday read that will definitely help get you in the holiday mood. Maggie and Alden are a cute couple. Watching their relationship develop as well as them change personally was quite fun. The author did a great job developing these characters and making them feel like friends. The writing was very descriptive making it easy to imagine the quaint small town of Snowfall, VT. Overall this is a very well done, fun book that I highly recommend.

This is a truly delightful, sweet, festive romance, I loved escaping to Snowfall, Vermont and meeting the great characters this very talented author has created there.

Take one workaholic website designer, send her to a small town to help create them a website to encourage tourists to visit the town where they usually have the dreamed of white Christmas. Add in matchmakers, merry makers, mischief makers and a historic broken romance - the Marshall Christmas Curse - making life uncomfortable for the grandson of the man involved . . . What a great recipe for a heartwarming romance!

A lovely, engaging story with great characters, plenty of romance and an ending to put a smile on your face, I think this would make a fantastic film. It was a light-hearted, easy read that kept me smiling as I turned the pages. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this brilliant book to anyone looking for a fun, festive read. I hope there will be more stories based in this delightful community in future.

I requested and was given a copy of this book, via NetGalley. This is my honest review of the book after choosing to read it.

I really enjoyed this Christmas story, what’s not to love about a workaholic heroine who has no interest in romance, a handsome vet, a town curse, a matchmaking innkeeper and town that always snows at Christmas....my only criticism is it was too short, I would of happily stayed in Snowfall for longer....hoping the author writes more books set here

For Maggie, her job is always #1, she is send to small town in Vermont called Snowfall, where she has to design new website for the town. Here she meets Alden who is town vet and he is not favorite person for a few of town people. When Maggie and Alden meet they feel connection but they can't be more than a friends since she is leaving in a week and he is selling his practice and moving out.

Maggie is super dedicated to her career and afraid of getting her heart broken. Alden has inherited a Christmas grudge some of the town has against his great-grandfather and is ready to leave town. They have an instant attraction but agree to a friendship as a way to avoid to their fear of finding love. The characters were likable, especially lodge owner, Ezzie. It’s a quick read but a complete story that completely captures the small-town charm. Christmas Comes to Snowfall is a good book to curl up to.

A sweet fast -paced holiday romance.

Maggie Iverson is workaholic who is hired to design a website for the town of Snowfall, Vermont, where the snow has fallen every Christmas since 1917. But this year, the town is worried there might not be any snow. Maggie is anxious to get to work. She doesn’t mind working through Christmas as she doesn’t have family or a boyfriend to spend time with.

Alden Marshall moved to Snowfall three years ago to open his veterinary clinic. Most of Snowfall’s residents haven’t warmed up to Alden because they believe Alden’s great-grandfather cursed the town when he broke the heart of a baker. Every year everyone makes gingerbread men to hang on a Christmas tree in hopes of snowfall for Christmas day.

As Maggie starts to learn more about Snowfall and the people who live there, she really begins to enjoy herself, especially the time she spends with Alden. The last thing on Maggie and Alden’s minds is a relationship, but that doesn’t stop the town matchmaker, Ezzie, from trying to hook them up. Maybe it’s Ezzie’s work or maybe it’s just a little bit of Christmas magic that brings them together.

I really enjoyed this book. I would have loved for the story to have been longer, but there was a lot of information and entertainment packed into the pages. I especially liked the tubing scene and Maggie’s flavor meditation.

My favorite quote in the book is:
“Her last three relationships broke up around Christmas so she’s decided not to date during the holidays anymore” “Hey, that’s great!” Randy’s eyes grew with his grin. “Her bad luck and your curse? You’re perfect for each other!”

Sweet Christmas story that would make a great movie.

Loved the small town of Snowfall and the lodge. The characters was likeable and the storyline was good. Maggie and Alden are both holding back with their own fears that are stopping them from finding love.

This was an easy read that kept me turning the pages and will give you a bit of Christmas cheer.

Cute christmas story set in the town of Snowfall. Workaholic Maggie is in Snowfall to work on the town's website. Alden's family is from the town so he offers to show her around the town he can' wait to leave, thanks to a family curse. But the more time they spend together the closer they get, so what will happen when it's time for them to leave town?

Christmas Comes to Snowfall was a wonderful read with a very sweet romance that’s the perfect read to get you in the holiday spirit.

Maggie Iverson is dedicated to her job which is why in the week before Christmas she’s headed to Snowfall, Vermont to design a new website for the town to boost tourism. In a town with a unique history, Maggie is having the time of her life uncovering interesting tidbits for the new website. But as she eagerly participates in all the town has to offer, she is forced to dodge matchmaking attempts by the locals hoping to set her up with veterinarian Alden Marshall.

Maggie is the definition of a workaholic, but she has her reasons for investing so much time in making sure her career is a success. I won’t spoil why she’s so dedicated to her job, but I definitely sympathized with her and felt her reaction was only perfectly natural. Alden grew up hearing about how his grandfather broke the heart of Snowfall’s most beloved resident which the townspeople say caused that to be the only Christmas without snow in the town’s history. Alden always thought it was a bit of a joke until he moved to Snowfall and faced the ire of the older townspeople.

Maggie and Alden click from the moment they meet and it only becomes clearer as time goes on that the two are a great match for each other. At first, because of the reservations the two have about love, neither is keen to start a relationship so they opt for friendship instead. Over the week Maggie is in Snowfall, the two spend a lot of time together and get to know one another very well despite the short time period. I enjoyed watching both of them come to accept that they felt more for each other than they were willing to admit.

Despite its short length, Christmas Comes to Snowfall perfectly captures that small town feeling and I loved learning about the town’s interesting history. While I did find it a bit odd that the locals would want to set Alden up with a complete stranger, it fit based on what we learned about the characters doing the matchmaking. The book does end a bit abruptly and while a short epilogue would have been welcome, I did ultimately enjoy the way everything worked out.

Christmas Comes to Snowfall is the perfect little book if you’re looking for a quick romance centered in a small town around the holidays. I definitely recommend this for fans of contemporary romances.
