Forget her Not was a 3, I enjoyed it. I had fun reading it but there was quite a lot of miscommunication and unnecessary drama and it kind of took away from the story!

Forget Her Never was my favorite. I thought I wouldn’t like it because if the cheating part but I actually really enjoyed it. The cheating was explained and very well handled if you ask me. I also really loved the characters in this one and it was a lot steamier than the first!!


Overall if you want just a quick lesbian romance to read during a slump, I highly suggest!

A+ for the connections in both books.

Sometimes we pick up a book and we're not really sure what we're going to get. With this I was definitely surprised.

Elle Spencer has really created two great bonds with her characters. I personally wouldn't look to pick up a book about hook ups but then beyond that, these are great love stories, very well executed.

I loved these novellas and read them both in one sitting. Both sets of leads were well fleshed out despite the short length and had great chemistry. Both stories were very sweet. The angst level was just right. However, I’ve taken off one star as both stories suffered from a mild case of insta-love syndrome. Still, I’ll keep an eye on this author’s future works.

An honest review thanks to NetGalley. I was really excited to read this book as I loved Spencer's previous novel, Casting Lacey. I loved Casting Lacey, so I may have gone into reading this with very high expectations. Sadly this book didn't meet the same level as Casting Lacey. They were two short novellas that had promising characters and a storyline that drew me in, but I couldn't connect. It felt rushed, and I wasn't able to connect to the characters in a way that I usually do while reading.

‘Unforgettable’ consists of two wonderful love stories that warm the heart. ‘’Forget Her Not’ is the story of Sam, a woman who indulges in one-nights stands and stays away from relationships. A surprising twist causes her to rethink her life. The story is beautiful, so emotional and very sexy. I felt very invested in the characters and I cried when they cried. I was stunned at how Elle Spencer manages to make the reader feel so much and we end up really caring for the women in her novels. ‘Forget Her Never’ is sweet and funny and hot. Abby and Kendall are so obviously perfect for each other but life has obstacles in their way. I so desperately wanted it to work out for them and again the author pulled me so far into the story, that I couldn’t put it down. This book is perfect for those times you want to wallow in romance, intense feelings and love. Elle Spencer does it so well.

I first came across this author from her book Casting Lacey (which was great by the way), so I was looking forward to this book and I was not disappointed. It was actually 2 stories in 1 publication, so bonus!

The first story is about a woman who wakes up in bed and to her surprise the person coming out of the bathroom is not who she expected. Well considering she can't really remember anything from the night before (too much wine), she didn't think another woman would be coming out of the bathroom-surprise!

The plot there after is around the main character coming to terms with who she really is and trying to feel like she does deserve happiness in her life. The push and pull from the main characters was well written, you really get a good sense of where both are coming from. The author has written a rich background story for both of them, and I came out wanting them both to find happiness in their story.

I really like this author's writing, it is just very down to earth and believable. And she writes great dialog, hard for me to describe, but she just comes across with a 'real' feel to the characters (no fluff that some romance novels have)-just down to earth and genuine.

As for the other story, the writing again is great, the story line for the 2nd one is of a chance encounter and a forbidden attraction due to (spoiler alter) one being in a marriage-unhappy as it is. I am not one to promote infidelity but again how this author goes about writing the story, I can see how it can happen (better or worst). I know some will think this a negative story line, but again how this author writes, is it reality and yes, I was routing for them to get together.

I will continue to be looking out for more books by this author and can't wait for her next book.

Both stories are well written and have interesting plots and characters. Overall Elle Spencer is a fabulous author and I cannot wait to read her next full-length book.

Unforgettable is compromised of two novellas. The first is called Forget Her Not and is Elle Spencer's debut novella and what a wonderful novella. This book grabbed and held my attention with the story of Sam and Mia and their angst filled relationship which eventually becomes love.

The second is called Forget Her Never. I wasn't as impressed with this story of Abby and Kendall who meet in a bar and a few days later have an unforgettable night on Kendall's yacht. There's only one problem.....Kendall is married. I found it more difficult to connect with the characters in this story and the cheating storyline isn't what I normally enjoy.

As a began to read this I had this feeling I had read this book before. Turns out there were two stories, one that was published before. The stories were sexy and interesting. It lost me a bit when the family dynamics got a bit messy and sort of lost the plot at some point.

Normally I tend not to read Novellas because I feel sort of cheated by how quickly the story moves. After reading Unforgettable, I believe I will take more chances on reading novellas.

Forget her Not
The story of Samantha and Mia was very interesting. Sam wakes up the morning after in the hotel room of a woman, but she can't remember anything that happened (other than she knows they had sex). Even though this is her first encounter with a woman, there is obvious chemistry and sexual tension. She doesn't even remember the woman's name. The story flow well, is well written and takes place over several months time (until you get to the epilogue). The pace of Forget her Not is fast, but you get a good idea of who each character is. I do wish this one was a full length novel so I can see how the characters interact with each other. There weren't many things that bothered me in this one. The one that stands out the most is that I found Samantha slightly annoying. Her character seems to be sure of herself, but really she isn't and it comes out in her thoughts. It just sort of annoyed me. I rate this one a 4.

Forget her Never
I liked this one slightly better. This novella moved just as fast and takes place over several months. Abby could be considered an ice queen in the beginning but she quickly falls Kendall after their first date. It isn't until she realizes that Kendall is married that she decides to back off. The pace of this one is just as fast as Forget her Not. I would think that many readers can relate to the story of Abby and Kendall. This one has even better chemistry than Forget her not. I liked these two characters together. I rate this one a 4 mainly because I felt cheated in the end. There is no epilogue at the end like Forget her Not. I desperately wanted to see how things played out.

Unforgettable is made up of two great novellas, Forget Her Not and Forget Her Never.

Forget Her Not was first released as a novella in August 2017 and rereading it now just made me fall in love with it all over again. I’m so happy Elle Spencer re-released this as a double hit with Forget her Never.

Forget Her Not
Loved this story from the very beginning. Samantha King likes her own company and finds one night stands with men whenever she needs the release. That is until she wakes up with a gorgeous woman in her bed and doesn’t remember a thing about it. She brushes it off as a one-time thing but when she can’t move on or stop thinking about the woman, she decides she needs to find out more about this woman and her feelings.

Wow! Fantastic novella that left nothing hanging at the end. Loved the Epilogues and a glimpse into Samantha and Mia’s life. Solid story, one I have read time and time again. This is still my favourite Lesbian Fiction Novella to date.

Forget Her Never
Abby done meets Kendall in a bar one night where she is very chivalrous and sweet. Abby is curious and decides to accept Kendell’s proposal of a date on her fancy boat. They have an amazing time together and Abby can see herself falling for this sweet and amazing women until she finds out she is married… now she can’t get Kendell out of her head or her heart!

This was a beautiful story and I really found myself connecting to the characters, especially Kendell. So many times I thought this would make an amazing full-length novel! I was worried about the cheating but ultimately it was for the greater good and I was okay with it by the end. My heart swelled in the last chapter with so much loveliness.

What you have here is two short stories and neither one is really that great. I shouldn’t say that because you might really enjoy both stories. That’s the thing with reviewing a book. What I find questionable you on the other hand may love. The first ‘In Forget Her Not’ the story starts out great and chances are if this was a full length novel and Ms Spencer gave her characters a chance to develop it probably would be a wonderful read but after the first two chapters it quickly loses steam. Too much drama wrapped in too short a story. In ‘Forget Her Never’ Ms Spencer writes about a cheating wife. Definitely not what I enjoy in a story. And even though this was a short I quickly lost interest. Now others might find this a good read I didn’t.

Unforgettable is a compilation of two good novellas, both of which are very enjoyable and readable. The first story, Forget Her Not, has been available previously and I have read it before. The second, Forget Her Never, was new for me.
Elle Spencer is a great writer, blending quirky humour, sexy romance, and excellent stories in a way I normally associate with some British writers. The author’s full-length novel Casting Lacey is, without a doubt in my mind, one of the very best books written in this genre. Both of these stories share much of that book’s greatness but to me, they possibly suffer from too much shortness (that is a real word, honest). I wonder if these should have been expanded into full novels. I’m sure they would have worked without losing the unique perspective of the shorter style.
Four and a half stars for me, rounding to five, just dropping a half-star for being novellas and not full novels. Recommended.

Two well written, interesting and entertaining novellas. Forget Her Not and Forget Her Never. One big complain though. I would have liked a more fleshed out ending in Forget Her Never. It felt somehow half done and it knocked a star off my rating. Recommended to all romance fans especially for those who love drama, angst and younger/older relationships.

I loved both of these short stories. What started out as with tons of angst and dramatic miscommunication ended up being sweet love stories. Elle Spencer is a new writer but I expect great things from her. She knows how to weave a story and suck you in. I was always waiting to see what happens next.

Good duet of stories, strong and feisty characters and great storylines. A nice read. If it had a fault I felt that both stories had too strong a storyline to be novellas and therefore we're a bit rushed. Enjoyable nonetheless. As a first for this author, will likely look for more.

Forget Her Not: Samantha (Sam) is an art dealer who has never been able to settle geographically or romantically. Her whole life changes when she spends a one night stand with a woman from her past, a woman who becomes a catalyst between her past and her future.

This story was cute, romantic and relatable but it was hard to connect with the characters throughout the story, mostly because of Samantha's POV. Mia definitely made the whole story worth it, she was interesting. I wish we had a little of her POV to add a little depth to the story.

Forget Her Never: One night with Kendall changes Abby's heart forever. But Kendall is married and Abby will never get involved with a married woman again. But her heart can't seem to forget and it's tearing her apart. Will Abby be enough this time?

I enjoyed this story more than the first one for sure.I think the 3rd person POV helped a lot.I liked how Abby was a such a strong characters, she was a really good person. The biggest problem came towards the end of the story, which kept this from being a five star read. There were far too may POVs, particularly in a novella as short as this one. Even in much longer books switching to POVs of secondary and background characters can be quite jarring, but its easier to manage with a longer book because you can establish a connection with the characters. It felt like an easy way for the author to tell the reader what was happening rather than stay in the main characters POVs and show us what was happening and how they were feeling, I feel like we lost more than we gained by the other POVs. The ending was adorable though and put a smile on my face for sure.

Both stories were missing a lot of depth in them, but they were cute and romantic which kept me reading. The language was simple and made the characters sound more juvenile than they actually were and missing. I would be interested to read a longer book from this author in the future, see if that fixes my reservations with these stories.

Two reads with interesting characters and stories that will have you thinking about relationships, love, and forever. In the first read, Samantha King may look like she has it all from the outside but on the inside she knows differently because one-night stands are just not enough. Mia Rossi is looking for forever and she believes she has found it with Samantha. There is tension. There is history. There is an undeniable connection. I appreciated the self-talk and push/pull of the relationship. In the second read, infidelity with a 'twist' is how I see this unfolding. When a person appears to good to be true, that is probably an accurate assessment. Abby Dunn, a talented architect with a promising future thinks she has found the one to share her life with. Kendall Squires, an accomplished women with a story to tell that she is unwilling to share. Both are presented as interesting people with a unmet desires. Though the infidelity was bothersome, I still enjoyed the read.

This book presents two romantic novellas with characters who are unforgettable for different reasons. In 'Forget her not' Samantha King is a straight art dealer that wakes up naked in bed with a woman and she doesn't remember anything about it. She is compelled to know what happened that night of her first and only lesbian experience but, is it just curiosity?

This is my favourite of the two stories, I like that the concept is so original. The two main characters are well rounded and very realistic, specially Sam, who is a very complicated and multi-layered character. The dialogues are natural sounding and their chemistry is off the charts. The story is sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking and it has the right amount of angst and drama. Overall, 4.5 stars.

In 'Forget her never', Abby Dunn has a one night stand with gorgeous and sexy Kendall Squires who is everything Abby dreams of. Their attraction is undeniable but Kendall is married and that night together should be left in the past. If only they can forget each other...

This is an age gap romance with a bit of infidelity and a lot of drama. Even though I connected with the main characters and their chemistry is hot, the plot doesn't seem to flow so well and part of the conflict feels a bit forced. There are at least four different points of view which were in my opinion unnecessary. The twists and turns, the angst and anguish were too much for me. However, readers who love their romances with loads of drama might enjoy it much more. Overall, 3.5 stars.

All in all, a very good and entertaining read. 4 stars.
