I really did not enjoy this book. I like to look for new ways to share these messages with children but this didn’t do it

This is my second or third Dinomike book. This one is meant to teach heartfulness and it does an excellent job. Considering the reader is sitting in quarantine (I’ve had this book a while), it’s lesson and actions really hit home. I love the colorful graphics that pull the reader in. While most of the books rhyme, the cadence is harsh at times but not distractedly so.

This really is a lovely little book. i honestly think the world would be a better place if this book was read in every pre-school, or school. even a lot of adults could do with reading this. Heartfullness is such a simple thing with such big results .
Brilliant book that i will be gifting to many family and friend.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

In one of the most brightly colored children’s books I’ve ever seen, a tiny dinosaur on a tricycle plays with a few friends, their exploits recorded in rare stanzas where all four lines use the same rhyme, at least on the first page. The mom of one of the friends is sick and they brainstorm ideas to make her better.
Doesn’t feel like heartfulness is explained all that well, at least not in the story; there’s a page on it after. Don’t know why it was so important the friend didn’t find out what they had done.
Cute, but I think the message could have been a little clearer. Perhaps this was designed so the kid would ask the parent to explain.

This is a great little rhyming story about Dynomike and his animals friends Spunky, Winky, and Jack Brussels. Dynomike, Spunky and Winky head to Jack's house to see if he can come ride bikes with them. But when they get there, Jack's mom is super sick so Jack needs to stay home to take care of her. Seeing Jack and his mom feeling down makes everyone sad. That's when Dynomike gets a heartfelt idea and they all start brainstorming heartfulness! The book is a super upbeat pre-k story that sends a great message about caring for others!
Dynomike is also a part of a series with other stories like Friendsgiving, Love Bug, and Come At Me, Bro!
I will feature this picture book on my blog Thursday November 29, 2018.

A nice story with cute animal friends. Because one friend can't come outside and play (his mama is sick and he needs to stay with her) the rest of the troup is putting up a plan to help mama feel better. Beautiful idea.
Thanks for this copy.

I received a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

The pictures were very colorful and brought to mind a graphic novel. The rhymes are catchy and simple. It's a simple story with a good message about being kind.

Images and text combine to create an inviting reading experience in Dynomike. This is the first book I have encountered by this author, but I would gladly read more. There's insight, meaning, plus entertainment in these pages.

A spiritual message about kindness packaged in a story about an annoying young dinosaur who shouts "yo yo!" a lot. There's not a lot to the story, but the rhyming is nice and the message is sweet. Well, the kindness part is sweet--I'm not sure I approve of the part about curing someone's illness through kindness. Also the word choice makes it sort of unclear whether the mom they cure has a cold or is depressed. Or is she depressed because she has a cold? Either way, the message is that everyone sent her kind thoughts and gifts infused with love and she magically got better. Maybe not a great expectation to give to kids?

What's heartfulness? This children's book seeks to answer this question and does so in rhythmic language. The author Frankie is expressive and poetic. Shared this with my 3.5 year old granddaughter and she is able to understand it and I asked her what it means to her and she said, "Love". Awesome message everyone can take away from it!
