Yes, this is romantic suspense done right!
A nice balance between action and romance, a kick-ass heroine, a swoon-worthy hero!
The one downside is that after the slowburn between the characters, the author basically skipped over the first time they got together.

Aiden will complete a favor to one man who saved him when he needed it the most. He didn’t expect the promise to turn into so much more. Protecting Jordan and helping her find her sister is only the beginning of the betrayals that lay in their path.

Jordan Dean could have sat on the sidelines of life, been the dutiful, socialite daughter. But sh and her sister are made of sterner stuff. Jordan is a mega brain and caring heart wrapped in a beautiful shell. Her sister, Sophie, well she hasn't met something she couldn't rebel against! It's always been the two of them against the world - well their father at least!

When her security team is shortstaffed her childhood friend Finn asks a favour of a Delta Force buddy. He only has to fill in while Finn looks after Jordan's father in Hong Kong. But things get perilous quickly. Jordan's usual head of security, who she treats as a devoted uncle, is injured, her sister kidnapped and Finn...well he is a bit tied up.

Aiden was willing to bet that his new charge was an uppity madame. But Jordan is a breath of fresh air. There are sparks between them but Jordans safety has to be put first. And for such a HUUUUGE man Aiden can blend into the background like a chameleon when he has to.

There was a great mix of action/adventure and romance. Jordan is clearly used to looking after her sister cos her father is useless! There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing. Sophie does come across as a bit of a rebel and wild child but she seems to have a good heart. Looking forward to more in this series!

It is one story that you will find yourself engaged and enjoying as you turn page after page to see what is going to be happening next. I found myself so engrossed, I was often on the edge of my seat and holding my breath. This is a little bit of everything read that will grab your attention and not let go the whole way through the story. Can’t wait for more books by this amazing author.

Let me start by saying how HOT 🔥🔥 is this cover !! Cover photo is exactly how I picture Aiden !!

This is a new author for me & love Jacki Delecki’s writing style!! I will definitely be checking out her other books & adding her to my TBR authors.

I’m drawn to the military / bodyguard- protecting heriess theme - so this book would be a one click for the storyline alone. It is well written - love the snark between the main characters - sizzling chemistry as well !! Also great plot & secondary characters !!

Standalone read with a great HEA

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet, sexy romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

Jordan Dean always had problems fitting into the expected party lifestyle, her passion was always focused on knowledge and research. However, she is thrown into danger as she desperately tries to rescue her kidnapped sister forcing her to work with Aiden Foster, not someone she would normally give the time of day to. Fast paced and with an interesting storyline. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Another fun story from Ms. Delecki. While I felt it was a little slow to start, it picked up and you have a nice mix of action, romance, and suspense.

This is a thrill ride from the very first page not only do you have a wonderful romance growing between our two characters you have enough suspense and drama to have you turning the pages as quick as you can This is a book that you won't want to put down until you turn that last page

I didn’t particularly like this romance. I didn’t think there was much attraction. I didn’t see any chemistry between Jordan and Aiden. I saw more flirtiness between Sophie and Finn and it wasn’t their story. It was passable at best.

4.5 Stars Mission: Impossible to Resist is the first book in a new series and my first read by Jacki Delecki and what an amazing introduction it was. This edge of your seat thriller with it fabulous cast and well written storyline had me engaged throughout. I will definitely be reading many more books by this author

Jacki Delecki has once again penned and exciting, edge of your seat, action/suspense story that will definitely have readers coming back for more. Fast-paced and loaded with danger and intrigue, Mission: Impossible to Resist is certainly a book that grabs you from the start. The plot was well developed, and the character portrayals were realistic and had great chemistry. I can’t wait for the book next in this series.

Suspense and ex-military is all I need to see to read a book. This is my first foray into Ms. Delecki’s contemporary romances and it was very nice. It took me a while to get into the story but once I did, it went flying by at warp speed. I loved the suspense part of the story. For me, the story is more about the suspense with little hints of romance. Aiden and Jordan were always skirting around the sexual tension and honestly it made for a nice read. Definitely need to check out the next book about Finn and Sophie.

This story is a thrill ride from beginning to end. Delta Operator Aiden Foster has seen more than one man should see during his time deployed. Now, he is helping out his good friend and acting as a bodyguard to Jordan Dean. Jordan is a beautiful and wealthy scientist who is working on research that could be of enormous benefit to the medical community. When her younger sister, Sophie, is abducted, a ransom request is received. Jordan is told to deliver the ransom in Hong Kong, but her father refuses to allow her to take the risk. As various attempts are made towards Jordan, Aiden continues to do all that he can to keep her safe. During this time, the attraction between Jordan and Aiden is heightened as they fight to elude those that are after them. When Jordan is kidnapped, Aiden realizes that Jordan and her research was the target all along. Can Aiden find Jordan and Sophie before it is too late? Ms. Delecki does an excellent job of increasing the suspense as we reach the thrilling conclusion. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. Aiden's thoughts tend to sort of being a typical male but then again not so much, "...those da*n high heels. What was she thinking, wearing those shoes? She’d never be able to run away from an abductor in those things." Aiden knows how to put priorities in order, “honey, I didn’t say I’d forget. Nothing is going to make me forget. I only agreed to put our ‘thing,’ as you labeled our intimate time, on the back burner until this is finished.” I liked this book, I loved Aiden.

Another great suspense romance novel by Jackie Delecki. Jordan is a genius who shows just how smart she is by actually listening to what Aiden asked her to do to keep her safe. Yes there was discussions first, I mean she is female after all. Loved it!
