This is a very simple board book for young children, a sort of I-Spy in different colors. On each 2 page layout, the left page has the page to search, the items blending in to the monochromatic background. The right hand page lists the items that can be found. Some colors are more challenging than others, the darker colors creating a better camouflage.

Ultimately a simple book that meets its intended purpose. My 8 year old son was interested and enjoyed it, but made quick work of it. A good book for children in the 4-7 year range, I'd think.

So colorful and fun! Its like I spy for 8-10 year olds. This was a great and innovative kids books for teaching them colors, shapes and developing some of their abilities by recognizing similar things and finding things!

What a colourful and fun book this is!
Oh course for adults this is very easy. Nothing like Where's Waldo on the difficulty side. But it's really good for little ones. If you're child hasn't yet been able to do the I Spy books or other middle grade (9-11) level spying books then this is a good pick instead. As a child I always loved seek and find books and as an adult my love for them has not waned. With Animosaics, there's also the additional benefit that they learn animals at the same time!

I would recommend sitting with the child and have them identify the name of the animal, then find the animal on the subsequent page. Most of the animals are one dominant colour so you could also do colours for each one if you wanted.
The best part about this book is it's published on hard back cardboard paper so you can even let your toddler flip the pages of colour and be amused. A great little teaching tool that is sure to be a hit with kids aged 5 or less!

This was a fun book that helps you to learn as you read. I love books like this as they make you think about what you are looking for and find the objects mentioned – ideal for young ones to read with a parent or guardian – Five stars from me.

A great rainy day amusement for kids of all ages. From beginners learning colors and shapes to the tween who enjoys picto-searches, this book will engage and entertain its audience.

This simple, yet delightful book will provide hours entertainment for fans of hidden-object books, young and old. It introduces children to various day-to-day objects, as well as shapes and colours. Children as young as one are likely to be drawn to its colourful pages, while older children will be able to carefully scan each page looking for the items shown on the opposite page and describing what else they can see. It also introduces children to the concept of mosaics.
The only thing that bothered me was that the items and shapes had quite abstract, pointy forms and were therefore quite removed from reality.

CAN YOU FIND IT? by Surya Sjnani is a search-and-find tool; an important children's book. Large, captivating and intriguing, thought by the creators of Wee Gallery, each page is colored in a special way: we find red, purple, green, grey, etc; toddlers are encouraged to recognize the hidden objects within the page.
It is a stimulating book this one and, implied, it contains a game that it is appreciated at every age: "Can you Find It?"

This looks like a fun book for young children. Each two page spread features one color and one shape, along with pictures of small objects that are hidden in the mosaic-like illustration. I can happily imagine going through this book with a child; I am certain that we would both enjoy it!

This was a beautiful hidden picture book, and I loved the plain/pure style of it. Though it looks very simple, not each hidden object was that easy to spot, and sometimes I even discovered some interesting additional shapes. The unicolored pages exude kind of a calming aura, which was surprisingly different - and much appreciated - from the usual hidden picture books for children (Wimmelbücher').

A mosaic on the left hides a number of items listed on the right. The fact they’re the same color makes it difficult, but certainly doable even for small children.
The second page, red, has the viewer looking for a “ladybird,” even though it’s obviously a “ladybug.” Made me chuckle.
Other than that, it’s both pretty basic yet also a nice switch on the average puzzle game.

This is a very innovative search and find book for children, but the colors were too intense for my eyes and made it impossible to look at, especially for the pages red, yellow and gold.

I'm currently working on a children's book that contains puzzles, so I've been idly noting what's out there for a while, and I was curious about this one. The puzzles here are nothing like those I'm using though, so it was interesting to see another approach. It's all in color here, and though I'm not sure how it would work for anyone who is color-blind, the puzzles are not as easy as you might think, even for someone with all his opsins in a row!

The pages are each a single color - very bright and rainbow colors to be sure, but only a single color per puzzle. Hidden in the color and disguised by a mess of shapes and patterns are certain specific items you must find, different on each page. Some of them were a pain to uncover! Not that I'm especially great at puzzles, but unless you're a puzzle solver of Olympic proportions, this will certainly occupy your time pleasurably and satisfyingly, assuming you enjoy puzzles to begin with, and perhaps even if you haven't found your kind of puzzle yet! I commend this book as a satisfying and colorful brain exercise!

This is a beautiful and colourful children's activity book. Each page focuses on a different colour and contains a series of objects hidden within the large, mosaic-inspired pictures, just like the ones in the cover. Think of an easier version of finding Wally.

I love that the puzzles are separated by colour, so it can be used to teach colours to a toddler. It also looks great for kids sharing it and helping each other find the objects. Note that it's meant for small kids, otherwise they'll find the objects quickly and they'll finish the book too quickly.

Super fun seek & find board book. A great first look at the genre for toddlers using fun animals, shapes and objects. The mosaic format is easily accessible, obscuring objects well, but not so hard as to be frustrating for little ones.

This is a unique search and find book! Each mosaic is one color and so are the items found within in, which can definitely add some challenge for children. Some of the colors are more challenging to find the items in, but it can lead to lots of discussion about details of images and how to use small details to find larger images. Each page also includes a shape to find allowing for discussion about those as well. I think this book would be great for a home library or a classroom!

A lovely search and find book. Not too long so little ones won't get bored. Great mix of everyday and more unusual objects.

Is this the most adorable search and find book out there? It might be! It's geared towards a younger age than I expected - it's only 10 pages long, it's organized by colour, and finding the images is much easier than other search and find books (such as I Spy, Mamoko, The Lost House, Where's Waldo, etc). I can see it being extremely popular with kids aged 2 - 4. I think the hidden items are expertly chosen: a combination of cartoon shapes, everyday objects (glasses, crayon, spade), and fun imaginative objects (magic wand, candy floss, duck).
