When Annie literally bumps into Nik and knocks him over in the car park at her sisters wedding she had no idea of the consequences but she couldn't get him out of her mind, how will she find him again. Nik was also taken with Annie but he has a secret..... can he trust her with it? He is certainly very happy when she finds him,

A lovely festive read, warm and cosy where you relate to the characters and are rooting for them. My first book by this author but I will look for more.

This story has romance and festive feelings in spades. I found both Annie and Nik to be very likeable characters and it was a real treat to follow their story. There’s more than a touch of Christmas magic around and a real fairy tale feel about the story which puts you firmly in the Christmas mood. There’s humour and family feeling and I loved meeting the rather special animals too. A shortish read but rather lovely nonetheless.

Thanks to the author for a copy of the book.

Do you believe in magic... do you??

I loved every page of this book. The whole story is well written and has well drawn, believable characters.

It has a masterful hero, a lovely heroine, a villain we all love to hate, kids, animals, the perfect sister and an overbearing family. What's not to love.??

So... pour a drink, pull out the fluffy blanket, find your favourite comfy place and enjoy the magic of Christmas...!

Wonderful story of Christmas magic! This is a very fun read for all ages. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Holly Anne Berry meets Nic as she knocks him down in the car park after her younger sister's wedding in October. After making sure he is not injured they both go their separate ways only to meet again. Will their relationship blossom as Christmas draws near or will they be pulled apart by Nic's secret life?

Do you believe in magic? That special magic unique to the Christmas season? If any glimmer of that belief still lives in your heart you’re going to love One Magical Christmas.

Annie and Nik make such a realistic couple just learning about each other. Although Nik may be in a bit of a time crunch, it doesn’t show when he’s with Annie. I had such fun watching their relationship play out, knowing what surely was to come. I find I don’t want to say much about the plot for although we all have our “ideas” based on the cover description, how that plays out is best discovered firsthand.

I had such fun with One Magical Christmas, it’s definitely going on my yearly re-read shelf. You’ll smile almost all the way through One Magical Christmas – there is a villain after all – but this is a wonderful romance that will light up your heart and fill it with Christmas magic this season.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

This is my first read by Berni Stevens. When I saw the title, I knew that I had to read this one. I was not disappointed by it at all. A great quick read that will give you a good dose of that Christmas magic we all love.

Annie has been busy helping her younger sister with her wedding. It is not a big wedding so Annie has been given the task to find a dress that is appropriate for the wedding. When Annie finds a gorgeous midnight blue dress, she knows that this is the perfect maid of honor dress. The dress costs Annie three months salary, but she knows wit will be worth it. Annie had no idea just how worth it the dress was going to actually be on that day!

Nic runs a nursery and has some animals of his own, including a reindeer. (More Christmas magic thrown into the story with the reindeer!) When Nic is given a deadline to meet by his father for a huge family secret, he takes to online dating with no luck. Nic then goes to the speed dating thing and still has no luck really until he runs into, literally, his answer to all his problems in the parking lot. The only problem is, Nic forgot to get her number. How is he going to find this person again?

When Annie can't get Nic out of her mind, she decides to take to finding him for herself again. Once Annie finds Nic and pays him a visit to the nursery, things begin to develop for this couple. Annie works in a vet office and loves pets so she and Nic have that in common. Nic wants to be sure that he can trust Annie with his secret before he tells her anything about it. Things move quickly for Annie and Nic and I loved the humor that was thrown into the story as well. I found myself laughing out loud a few times.

I love the Christmas magic of the whole story and thought that this one was very well done. I loved getting to escape into a magical Christmas world with Annie, Nic, their families and of course the animals. I could read stories like this all the time! Great job!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for an advanced copy!
