It is time to take a chance? Leah has a good but busy life. Her life revolves around her daughter Rosie so being a travel blogger is perfect as they get to travel the world together. It has been lonely since her husband walked out leaving Leah in deep debt and breaking up two families. A chance meeting on a cruise ship gains her a new friend in Harrison and she has decided with his help to see someone to help her move on from the past. Is she able to do that? There is still so much hurt and unanswered questions and she is scared that Rosie will ask about her father and she doesn't know how she could ever tell her why he left them.
Her & Rosie are off on another adventure this time to Athens and this is where everything will change for them both. She meets Daniel and his daughter Bella and they have a wonderful time but Leah feels like Daniel is holding something back. She can't handle liars but this is still new and they don't know if they will see each other again. Unfortunately Leah has fallen for Daniel and she is all confused and now her husband has decided he wants to see their daughter she is scared that he will try take her away. She is able to meet up with a family lawyer and he tells her that she can't stop him from seeing her. So she knows that she has to push for him to agree to her terms as Rosie has to come first.
Daniel has fallen for Leah but he has so much going on, he is still busy doing work in Athens and his daughter Bella is having a really hard time at home. And he knows that he has to tell Leah the truth but he isn't ready yet. He wasn't looking for love and he is also scared to give it another chance. Is there a chance for him & Leah to be together or will their baggage be too much? A good read. I was lucky enough to receive a copy via Netgalley & the publishing house in exchange for my honest review.

Greece...sexy men, travel blogger, two wonderful children, a new best friend and some painful pasts.

What more could you want from this wonderful book that I could barely tear myself away from.

I was already a fan of this author but this is now easily my favourite book by Linn B Halton.

I loved Leah and Rosie from when we first meet them, to their present day situation, which is really remarkable.

As a fan of travel myself I was lapping up Leah's assignments and was delighted to see plenty of details included.

While in Greece we get a fabulous tour of some of the main tourist attractions, some delicious sounding Greek food and the new man in Leah's life.

Having been to Athens myself, there were sections that rang really true so its clearly been well researched.

There is also quite a bit more to this book than the gorgeous cover suggests, and it does touch on some meatier themes.

For me, siting poolside in Mexico while I was reading it, this is a perfect pool / holiday read, although it could easily be read anywhere and anytime you need to escape abroad for a while!

Thank you to Harper Impulse and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

I absolutely adore novels that are set in Greece, so when I saw the title and the cover I jumped at the chance to request it! It was intriguing and drew you straight in from the start, wondering what this novel is going to be about. It's a book that I couldn't put down and just found really interesting and well written.

The setting was stunning, the characters were relatable and overall it was just a lovely, sunshiney read - with a few twists to keep you entertained!

This story starts with a husband deserting his wife and two year old daughter, leaving them without warning but with a mountain of debts they knew nothing about. Jump forward seven years and that’s when the rest of the story takes place, focussing on that same mother, Leah, and her nine year old daughter, Rosie. They have started a travel blog together and are becoming well known for giving reviews of holiday destinations and travel products.

This is a heartwarming contemporary romance about facing up to fears, moving forward to find new friendship and romance when you least have expect it. However, don’t expect everything to go smoothly for anyone concerned. There’s more than one romance in this story where being honest with everyone is the key to a potentially happy future. Rosie is a credit to Leah, a sparky, polite and friendly youngster, more mature than many nine year olds.

There are great descriptions of places they visit, people they meet and even food they get to eat. The whole journey is brought to life, with all the obstacles, secrets and worries along the way. There are special people to meet, including Leah’s parents, Harrison, Daniel and Bella. I particularly enjoyed reading about exploring Athens - I definitely want to go visit there again, especially after reading about some of the places Leah and Rosie get to visit there. This is a heartwarming contemporary romance that I enjoyed escaping into and hope you will, too.

I requested and was gifted a copy of this book via NetGalley. I chose to read it and this is my honest review after doing so.

The cover of this book was what attracted me to it.
It was a lovely read from beginning to end. Well written and full of sunshine and happiness. A great book to brighten a dull winters day

I enjoyed reading this book. However, there were a few things that did not ring true to me. I was not sure the purpose of her twin sister, since she made no effort to find her. Especially after they find out she has been out there on her own for so long. There were times, I thought the story lagged but it was worth reading to the end.

This was an story that truly highlights the blogging trend of traveling. I love the strength of Leah's character, a strong woman determined to love and care for her daughter.

Not quite what I expected, but better. It sounds like the usual 'romance' but it is more than that.
Leah is a travel blogger, a job that I didnt know existed! She has a very grown up nine year old daughter, Rosie, who often joins her on the paid trips, where she reviews hotels etc. She is gaining in popularity all the time.
When she is invited to Greece to review a hotel complex, she meets somone who will become an important part of her life., and his daughter.
The book explores so much of the human character, the passions, the rejections which affect Leah's life. The interactions betweenher ex husband, her daughter, parents and the new man in her life are extremely interesting.
Leah knows what she wants and needs in the next stage of her life and somehow has to make Daniel understand this.
I did like the delightful friend met on the plane, in whom she confides and discusses both their lives.
Thanks to NetGalley for a review copy.
