I think this series gets better and better with each story! Legend focuses on the goalie of the Vengeance team and watching him turn into a single dad was amazing! I think sexy single dad books are one of my new favorites to read!

"You have got me so wrapped around your little pinky and I'm pretty sure there is nothing you couldn't ask for that I wouldn't give to you."

I felt that this story had a lot more drama than some of Ms. Bennett's other books and it kept me on the edge of my seat, not being able to put the book down. I had to know what was going to happen. This story also had the heat we expect from a Sawyer Bennett book and the chemistry between Legend & Pepper was off the charts!

I love how we get to keep seeing all of the other players and how their stories continue! Plus the cameo from Ryker & Gray - LOVED! I absolutely cannot wait for Tacker's book! (4.5 stars)

This is a true love story. When Legend comes home to find his daughter he never knew existed on his front steps he steps right up to the plate. He knows his responsibilities and he hits them head on. Even though he and Pepper were anything but friends from the time he found Charlie on his front porch she was by his side. She supported him and helped him to adjust to being a new dad. It was such a beautiful story how these two went from enemies to lovers. I mean how could you not fall in love with a guy who was a single gorgeous hockey star one day and a single dad the next and accepted it without question or regret. I love Sawyer Bennett's books but this one is so full of real life and responsibility. Legend never regretted Charlie or the situation he was now living. He opened his heart to Charlie and his life now included her. Pepper stood by his side through all of it and never once complained. They both leaned on each other and fell in love with each other and with a little bundle of joy they call Charlie.

Upon returning home from a late night of hockey, Legend is immediately bombarded with what looks like National Lampoons Christmas Vacation decorations. While Legend thinks his next door neighbor is extremely “hot”, he can’t stand her yard trash. He’s exasperated, but can’t turn her into the HOA because he lost a bet-no complaining. So he parks his car for the evening, but sees something on his porch. As he approaches and looks under the blankets, he realizes someone’s left a crying baby on his porch. Not knowing what to do or even how to hold an infant, he backs away and runs to Pepper.

Pepper, the whimsical artistic one in her family, is constantly leaving “surprises” for Legend-just to irritate him. When he knocks on her door, she assumes it’s to complain about her yard decorations. Then he drags her over to his house, to the crying baby. Pepper immediately picks the little girl up while Legend calls the police. They find a note in the infant seat claiming it's Legend’s baby. Until paternity is determined, the infant is taken to a foster home.

I know I said this on the last Arizona Vengeance novel, but I think this novel was the best one yet! Sawyer Bennett is a genius in weaving a believable storyline with characters who you normally wouldn’t think mesh, but are so right for each other in every way! Pepper is carefree, bright, and colorful. Legend is focused, strict, and “bland”. It’s amazing how much more “alive, colorful” Legend’s life becomes with Charlie and Pepper. Although this novel is the third in the series and can be read as a stand-alone, I recommend reading them in order so you get the “whole” picture. You also don’t necessarily have to be a huge hockey fan in order to read this novel. While Legend is a highly successful NHL player, it’s not the focus of the story. I loved Pepper and Legend’s friendship. They are hilarious together and so complimentary to each other. A perfect match! The suspense and baby mama drama had me on the edge of my seat! Throw in an adorable baby girl....all the feels! I highly recommend this novel. I received a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

The Arizona Vengeance series is fast becoming one of my favourites of Sawyers, and I've got to say Legend is my favourite to date.

Legend and Pepper's story is a surprising story that is not only heartfelt, sexy, sweet but also suspenseful.

Legend is the goalie for the Arizona Vengeance, and like most hockey players you read about, he has his habits, and loves routine and order. Whilst he portrays a gruff, serious exterior to the world it hides a sensitive and caring heart.

Pepper is Legend's opposite in every way. Where he can be a bit staid and series, and likes his neat and tidy world, Pepper's world is vibrant, whimsical and above all colourful and chaotic. She's kind of quirky, carefree and fun, but she's also incredibly intelligent, kind, caring and compassionate. I love that she challenges him in every way.

Although in the past this pair have had a tendency to rub each other the wrong way, the sparks between them are intense, and their attraction and chemistry is palpable.

I loved that we get to see more of Legend's team mates in this title and I cannot wait to discover more of Tacker's story, and see him find a happy ever after.

OMG what's hotter than a hockey player, a single hockey player who just found out he's a dad and would do anything for the baby. When Legend Bay shows up to find a baby on his door step he panics and does the only thing he knows to do, run next door and get the sexy neighbor that both turns him on and aggravates him at the same time. He may not have known he was a dad, but he loves the baby and would do anything to protect her.

Pepper has always found her hockey player neighbor sexy. He's even sexier when he's protecting a new baby. When they finally decide to put their aggravation aside and to act on their attraction for each other, her world is rocked. Can they but past events aside and move forward as a family? Or will baby mama drama end their chances at happiness.

It seems that each book just gets better! I love Legend Bay and he maybe my new favorite hockey player! This is a must read if you like hot and tempting bad boys who are really good boys at heart

Every time I read one of the Arizona Vengeance Series books, I think this is the best one. I have come to realize I love them all, and I am touched in a different way by each one. In the last book, I didn’t know if I liked Legend that much. This book has definitely changed my mind. I saw a different side of Legend once his baby daughter came into his life. He is still the tough hockey player, but has a softer side to him now. I loved seeing the big, bad guy go all gooey over his daughter. Such a change in him too regarding Pepper. I loved Pepper and her Bohemian ways. Pepper was so helpful with taking care of the baby when she was dropped off. I can’t imagine a mother leaving her daughter on a doorstep in the dark. She definitely came off as having some issues which play out with a heart stopping event. I also loved seeing Legend’s parents turn into sweet messes when they met their granddaughter. I am a grandmother and know the feelings. As always I love hearing more about the players I met in previous books. I am so concerned about one of them, and I hope Ms. Bennett gives him a story. This is another must read! I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

OMG! ‘Arizona Vengeance’ getting better and better with each book. and amazing part is you get a chance to see characters from previous books and get a chance to see how they are doing. This book has so many things I enjoy in romance books; hockey + enemies-to-lovers + hot single dad = Ohhh, dear ovaries, be still…
Legend Bay is the hottest goalie in the league, other than being a great player; he is loyal, sweet, sexy alpha male with a little bit of a neat freak :) After moving into his new house, his neighbor starts getting his nerves with her eccentric taste in garden ornaments. Pepper Nantais is definition of social butterfly. She is a gorgeous, sweet and fierce woman, who is a famous children books author. Ohh and her newest hobby is to drive her hot hockey player neighbor mad :) Their story starts with a life-changing event for Legend. One night he comes home and finds a pink bundle on his front porch. Finding a baby on his front porch is a shock but what is really unexpected is when Legend runs to Pepper’s door for help. After the initial shock of finding out about being a dad, Legends steps right into his role as a father. He is so sweet and king, he is simply amazing. He also has an amazing support from Pepper. She tries to be there for him whenever he needs her. Also, chemistry between them is sizzling and they just seem right for each other. Everything is finally settling down and going great so what happens when the heartless women, who left her 14-day-old daughter on a front porch, comes back and wants her baby, back? Curious? You have to grab your copy and start reading :)

Legend is captivating, heartwarming, sexy, enemies-to-lovers story that you won’t be able to put it down. So next book in the series is Dax, which will be released on July 9, 2019 and then finally my mostly anticipated book in the series Tacker will be released on November 5, 2019. With each book, I am dying to know what the hell happened to Tacker more and more. I CANNOT wait to get my hands on his story.

Would I recommend this book: Yes.
Would I re-read this book: Been there done that :).
Would I read future books by this author: Yes.

This is the 3rd book in the Arizona Vengeance series, however, I think that this book can comfortably be read on a stand alone basis.

I’ve been really looking forward to Legend and Pepper and I have to say I was not disappointed. It was a really addictive read and one that I absolutely devuoured. It flowed really well and I felt that the story was really well developed. There was drama and a little angst but there was plenty of light relief and boy the chemistry between Legend and Pepper was electric which led to some pretty steamy sexy times.

Overall this was a really enjoyable read and one I would be happy to recommend.

I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher via NetGalley; there was no inducement or obligation and I opted to leave a review.

This is the third book in the Arizona Vengeance series and everyone needs to read this book because it is so hot in Arizona with Legend and Pepper that it would warm up this very cold winter going on around parts of the US.
When Legend gets home one night and finds a package on his front porch, he automatically thinks it's his quirky neighbor Pepper playing some kind of joke on him. But when he goes after Pepper and they confront the package, they are both stunned at what they find.
As they try to figure out what is going on and what thy should do next, Legend is beginning to see that Pepper is more than a pretty face. She is so much more than he ever imagined and he is finding himself falling for her.
Pepper has been drawn to Legend since they became neighbors but he didn't like her quirky style and he seemed to hate her. But when he needed her help, she knew she would be there for him. As they grow closer, she finds herself falling in love with him.
Can Legend figure out who left the package on his front porch? And what does he do with the distraction of Pepper? Can Legend and Pepper make things work for a future together?
In the previous books we met Legend and Pepper a little and I could not wait for their story. And it was worth the wait. In the beginning of the series these two did nothing but argue about yard ornaments and in this story they learn that their is more to each other than skin deep looks. The depth of their connection is perfect and they are made for each other. I can't wait for more in this series, which will be Dax's story.
**I received a free copy of this book to read and review and this is my honest opinion**

Guys! I absolutely ADORED Legend, which honestly shouldn’t be a surprise. Sawyer Bennett is a go-to author for me when it comes to witty (and wicked) romance.

From first page to last, Legend was fun, heartfelt, and sexy with an edge-of-your-seat element. Legend and Pepper were immensely likable and their relationship one that built to a crescendo that made my heart race. And, once you factor in Legend’s Vengeance teammates (BRB crying for Tacker), you have a book that’s unputdownable.

Perfection!

This third book in the Arizona Vengeance series was all kinds of swoony, exhilarating, sexy fun! Legend and Pepper are opposites in every way. He is serious, needing rules and order, and Pepper is fun-loving, and free spirited. When something surprising happens to Legend, Pepper is there to help and support him without hesitation. They build a bond that neither saw coming. I really loved Legend and Pepper, they made a great team and their chemistry was smokin' hot! This story had some suspenseful plot twists that kept me totally engaged and guessing what would happen next. It also continues to follow the lives of several Vengeance teammates. We get to see how Bishop and Eric are doing after finding love. It also has some intriguing and heartbreaking scenes with Dax and Tacker, and I can't wait to read their stories! This is a fun, sexy and passionate story and I can't get enough of these sexy hockey players and the women who challenge and love them!

Oh boy - Sawyer Bennett scores again with Legend book 3 in her Arizona Vengeance hockey series.

Legend Bay is the number 1 goalie for the up and coming Arizona Vengeance hockey team. He believes in an orderly life off the ice so his neighbor Pepper Naintus drives him absolutely crazy with all the decorations she has outside her home that she insists on having all year round (pink flamingos drive him crazy). When a newborn baby is dropped on his doorstep he does the one thing he never expected - reaching out to Pepper for help. The more help she provides the more he realizes that maybe a little whimsy may not be a bad thing. That along with his daughter life becomes very interesting for Legend and then danger hits.

I have no idea how Ms Bennett does this book after book but each character is so different from the last ones and the stories are unique to those characters. Legend and Pepper's story is filled with romance, humor and some scary moments. What I really loved about Legends is that Ms Bennett doesnt shy away from going in deep and exploring mental illness with some of her characters and how those choices can damage you without help. So to say there is more to this story then just romance would be an understatement. We also get to see the other Vengeance characters a little bit more and the set up for the next few books is perfect and I for one cant wait. We also get a great cameo from some friends from the Cold Fury series which is always fun. That all being said this is definitely Legend and Peppers story and what a great story it is.

As the third book in the Arizona Vengeance series readers have come to embrace these sexy men of the hockey world, becoming fully invested in their HEAs, and Legend is a delightful addition to the series. In a tale that pulls at the heartstrings, while making you blush a time or two, readers will be charmed by the romance between two very different people who balance each other out beautifully. Add in a bit of suspense courtesy of outside forces battering the happy bubble surrounding this likable main couple and you end up with an entertaining read that has me ready for more of these characters to take center stage.

Next door neighbors Pepper Nantais and Legend Bay have been rubbing each other wrong since he moved in, their differences adding to the obvious sexual tension, but the moment he finds a surprise on his front porch he finds himself counting on her more and more. It’s not long before they’re giving into their palpable attraction in scorching, and endearing scenes, that shows them unexpectedly becoming a family. Throughout this series Legend has shown himself to be cool, calm, and collected. He likes order and is a bit of a stick-in-the-mud due to his childhood spent in the military, which is why his neighbor’s carefree way of life annoys him so much. While she annoys him though, he can also admit that he’s attracted to her and enjoys their sparring matches. The moment he discovers he’s a father is the moment everything changes for him and Pepper as she becomes vital in him learning the ropes of fatherhood and their working together shows them to be a formidable couple. I liked seeing a softer side to Legend as his scenes with his baby girl were endearing and brought a smile to my face. His scenes with Pepper were crackling from the moment they met and giving into their desires led to scorching interludes that had me blushing as readers saw Legend losing his usual control whenever he was with her. Action-packed scenes on the ice were a nice addition to the external forces of chaos caused by a frustrating birth mother and issues surrounding other members of the team that led to a richly rewarding HEA for him and Pepper.

Pepper’s an immensely appealing heroine, a breath of fresh air to Legend’s ordered life. She makes no excuses for her over-the-top decorations, her outgoing nature, or her enjoyment in poking at Legend’s control. Her carefree attitude fuels her crackling connection to him and makes their instant indulgence all the more believable. Behind her Bohemian nature lies a kind heart, an openness to make things better for others, and it’s what binds her to Legend as he undertakes his new role of father. She easily rolls with every change thrown her way, never feeling cheated by what befell her in the past, and her easygoing nature made me like her all the more. She’s the perfect balance to Legend, helping him take time to smell the roses, and get a little dirty in their erotically-charged journey to HEA.

This was a sweet and sexy read featuring a delightful main couple whose romance made me chuckle as well as blush a time or two. These two opposites are crackling together, in perfect sync despite their differences, making each other better through their mutual support of each other. His unexpected fatherhood was the driving force in Legend and Pepper getting together and it was heartwarming to see what baby Charlie brought out in them. Alongside their easygoing romance were a few bumps in the road that felt unnecessary as I was enjoying the sensual haze of their romance and felt that these outside forces were a distraction. Surrounding this entertaining main couple was the other members of the Arizona Vengeance, some whose stories have already been told and some whose stories I’m clamoring to read. Though this story’s focus is mostly about Legend’s personal growth, there’s some exciting action on the ice that shows this team working together as the tight knit brotherhood we’ve seen forming throughout this series. Among the players I’m most intrigued by are Dax, a friend to Pepper who’s got issues of his own in this story, along with Tacker who’s still dealing with the loss of a past love. Tacker’s clearly hurting and I long to see him finally find some happiness in a story that promises to be emotionally intense. On a whole this was another enjoyable addition to Ms. Bennett’s entertaining hockey series that I recommend to readers looking for an unforgettable main couple in a journey to HEA that’s been a long time coming.

I love a good enemies-to-lovers story so I was super excited to start this one once it landed on my Kindle. Legend and Pepper had a neighbor feud that started the moment Pepper moved in and disrupted Legend's neat and tidy life. But when Legend's life gets turned upside down yet again, Pepper is the only one he thinks of to ask for help. And from there he starts to realize that she may be quirky, but that he actually likes that about her.

This book was intriguing from start to finish and I loved that it was able to suck me in like it did. I became so invested in these characters and I was rooting for them form the beginning. Pepper was just such a different woman than Legend was used to and getting to see how those differences led to an attraction was really fun. I thought they made a great couple and I couldn't have picked a better heroine for Legend.

There was also some drama thrown in from a secondary character that I thought was a really good addition. It wasn't overly dramatic or out of place, but instead added an interesting story line that grabbed my attention. Overall, there was just so much happening in this story that worked together really well and I think it will have any reader captivated.

Legend is the successful and sexy goalie for the Arizona Vengeance. The only blip that he has in his life is his eccentric neighbor Pepper who has turned her ability to aggravate him into an art but that is all about to chance when he finds a little bundle of joy left on his porch.

Pepper has hidden her attraction for Legend under her talent for getting under his skin. She knows that he will never see her as more than an annoyance but when he turns up at her door looking for help with a baby her heart melts and she can’t turn him away.

As they spend time together, he realizes that there is much more to his bohemian free spirited neighbor than he first thought and she sees that underneath his gruff exterior is a man with a big heart. When his past resurfaces, they must decide if what they have is forever or a fling.

This is a fun and flirty enemies to loves story between two opposites who realize they couldn’t be more perfect together. It was great to catch up with other team members and I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

And he is the Legend!

I love this author’s hockey heroes and Legend, well, he easily went to the top of list! He was at the top of his game on the ice even if his neighbor, Pepper, drove him mad with her antics. When his life took a sudden turn, he was surprised how she soon animosity changed…

They say opposites attract and that is exactly what happened when these two clashed over pink flamingoes and a, seemingly, very different approach to life. What’s on the surface quickly didn’t matter though when Legend faced a life-altering crisis and Pepper was there to hold his hand, offer sage advice and simply be there for him. And Legend did what he did best. He rolled with the punches and, despite every curveball, was sweet, supportive, sexy goodness. He is what book boyfriends are all about! Deliciously so… Heat, drama and family filled this one-sitting read and I loved every page of it! Oh and though Piper completely deserved him, I’m sure she won’t mind that he’s mine too!

The boys of Arizona Vengeance are back and better than ever!! Legend’s story is the one i have been waiting for since the beginning of this series. I loved the relationship between him and Pepper is off the charts. They compliment one another so well and give one another the balance they need. I also love the secondary stories that Sawyer has placed in this book for Dax and Tacker. I have always been a Cold Fury fan, but this book has definitely made a space for the boys of Vengeance.

Legend just found out he is a father and that he is responsible for his little girl now all in one night. He can’t believe that this is happening and when he finds the little girl on his porch he runs to the one person who would least expect it, Pepper.

Pepper is thrilled that Legend has come to her for help with his new little girl, but knows he needs a friend and a support system to help him through this change in his life. What she isn’t expecting is to fall into bed with him and actually begin to have a real relationship with him. They have fought with one another since they have lived next to one another but now they can’t seem to be without one another.

As Pepper and Legend begin to fall into a routine, there world is shaken by Charlie’s mom deciding she wants Charlie back and will do want she needs to make it happen. Will Pepper and Legend be able to hold onto their new relationship and little girl? Or will Charlie’s mom stop their chance at happiness?

I say this every time I read a Sawyer Bennett book - I can't get enough! And Legend is just another one that consumed me.

We met Legend Bay at his many parties at his home in the last couple of books and his quirky neighbor Pepper Nantais. Legend and Pepper is the true definition of opposites attract. Their banter is cute and fun. And their chemistry is hot!

Legend's life changes in a quick second, when a little bundle is dropped off on his porch and who does he turn to for help is neighbor, Pepper! Their dynamic relationship is hilarious, sexy and sweet. As Pepper helps Legend navigate and balance his new life, they develop more than a neighborly friendship. Even with her all her quirkiness, Pepper grounds Legend.

Patiently waiting for Tucker's book, but will take Dax next!

Hot hockey player, quirky next door neighbor, and a newborn baby. What can go wrong! This was a signature Sayer Bennett book which always has more depth than it seems. Legend is the hockey player, and a truly good guy, albeit, a little straight laced. He gives off no “bad boy” vibes at all. However, he comes home to find a baby on his front porch. Pepper is a children’s book author and his next door neighbor. Their romance seemed almost straightforward to me, but the real issue in the book was the postpartum depression of the birth mom and how it affected all the relationships involved. There were familiar characters from previous books who i enjoyed catching up with. As I have said before, Sawyer Bennett always gives us a good story, and this one is no different.

I loved this series and when Legend and Pepper clashed in the last book I knew their story would be fun to read. My expectations were blown out the water. When Legend finds a bundle of pink on his porch step he freaks out and calls on his neighbor Pepper for help. She steps right up and helps him figure things out. BTW Legend is a natural at being a Dad. I loved that the relationship between this couple had very little angst and the relationship grew naturally. Now the Mother of the baby was another story and I kept waiting to see what she would do next. She was determine to get her baby back. This book can be read as a standalone, but why would you. Awesome series.
