Thank you NorthCoast Post amd Netgalley for an ARC of this book in return for my honest review.

This is a book of gluten free living set out using an anology of a flight path with four distinct parts amd finishing with some recipes.

The majority of the book was about setting up your flight path by defining your values, creating goals and incorporating healthy habits as part of regular self care. The book was interspersed with lovely photographs of fresh vegetables.

If you are new to creating a healthy lifestyle, defining your personal values and creating space for sacredness in your life then there is much to be gained by reading this book. However if you have read on any of these topics previously there is nothing new to be gained from this book.

Gluten Free Soul Pilot is a motivational book on how to live a healthy and joyful life.

Using a flight plan as an analogy, the book instructs you how to create a plan to health. It uses four principles: knowledge, strength, wisdom and drag. You decide your health goals and they don’t have to solely be gluten-free. Exercise and eating less junk food are highlighted too. There also over thirty recipes included but I wish they had all had a picture and nutritional information.

After being gluten-free through two Thanksgiving holidays, I needed a pep talk to prevent me from feeling sorry for myself. No rolls, stuffing, gravy or pie for me. I ate dry turkey and buttery mashed potatoes with my cranberry sauce. Even the green bean casserole has wheat in the soup and the onion topping and so was a non-starter. Also, I frequently have friends asking me if they should go gluten-free to lose weight. I always tell them without dire consequences, like death or diarrhea, I doubt anyone would stay gluten-free for long.

However, Gluten Free Soul Pilot brightened my Thanksgiving weekend. If I choose to be gluten-free, I might as well go all in and eat more healthy choices like fruit and vegetables. Then it feels like my decision and not some horrible misfortune from the universe—the difference as the book puts it from victim to victor.

Gluten Free Soul Pilot is an excellent book to inspire your movement to more healthy living. It would be a great gift to anyone on a restricted diet, not just gluten-free, during the stressful holiday season. 4 stars!

Thanks to the publisher, Northcoast Post, and NetGalley for a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Gluten free diets are all the rage right now and I have been interested in learning more, but there are so many books out there that do not really offer information on how this is beneficial. The author of this book laid out all of the information that someone that is on the fence about this diet can benefit from.

Gluten Free Soul Pilot is by far the best self-care, self-love book I have seen in a very long time. Everything about this book is nurturing, from the pictures used all the way down to the color palettes chosen. One can immediately see that a lot of love and care went into creating this soon-to-be best-selling gem. It gives you so much guidance with checklists, daily motivations, provoking thought-starters for each and every day. It clearly lays out for you a daily life plan that includes instructions with balance for the mind, body, and spirit. Such a game changer. I love it. For those that mean anything to you, this is the book to put into their hands; every single one of them. It should be the stocking stuffer of the season.
