Unfortunately, as hard as I tried to hang in there, I gave up on this book even after skimming to the end.

My main problem was Ten and I can’t explain what it was I didn’t like about him. His sudden need to investigate Kali’s bookstore to find out why it can stay in business felt forced as an excuse to say he’s a journalist and didn’t endear me to him as a hero. (Access your Secretary of State’s database to find out the registered agent/ownership info for LLCs etc.) I think it comes down to my preference for an alpha hero and Ten doesn’t fall into that category. He was more cutesy than sexy and I didn’t go for the way he aggressively pursued Kali. My other main problem was Kali’s father not getting her mother help or protecting his daughter.

Overall, I think I might be the wrong demographic for this and it might work for readers in their early 20s. I did like Val.

I received a copy of this book through NetGalley for an honest review.

Crazy Love is the first book in the Bookstore Love series and tells the story of Kali and Ten.

Crazy Love is the first book I read (and loved) by Sarah Nego and Christi Snow and I’m happy that I requested this one via Netgalley. I love reading Romance books and discovering new authors, and I’m always happy when the book turns out amazing.

Crazy Love is about Kali and Ten. Kali has many secrets and being involved with a guy isn’t possible, but Ten keeps on trying. Once Kali and Ten get to know each other, Kali slowly breaks down her walls and lets Ten in. Everything is going well until Ten discovers Kali’s secret…
I love that we as readers don’t know Kali’s secret yet. I wanted to know her secret so badly, so I kept on reading and reading.

Crazy Love is such a fast paced and well-written book. I think that Crazy Love is an amazing Romance read and I cannot wait to read the sequel, Tasty Love.

Secrets, romance and fun: yep, definitely my kind of story! Kaliope Winters is the owner of a bookstore (Em-Dash) and she uses this bookstore as a cover-up for her secrets. Tennyson (Ten) is a guy who accidently became a YouTube vlogger celebrity. But he really wants to become an investigation journalist. And what better way to start your career by finding out what Kaliope has to hide?
Ten uses Em-Dash for the free Wi-fi and to check out the gorgeous owner Kali. She, however, doesn't seem to like Ten very much. Or maybe she is just feeling threathened by his investigations?
But when Ten discovers the truth about Kali, can he choose between his career and the love of his life? Find out for yourself in this great read! And even better: the story continues with Tasty Love. Four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

2.5 stars
This book premise started out storing. The first few chapters I was enjoying, but then it got stale. Kaliope's attitude towards Ten got old fast. we get it, you think he is immature and not for you, but the redundancy of it..... oh vey!!

I received an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review. This book for me was just okay. I didn't love it or hate it. This book was marketed as enemies to lovers and I thought Kali and Ten weren't really enemies. I felt that Kali was more than just annoyed with Ten. You find out Kali's secrets pretty fast in the book. I felt this book could have used more tension between the two main characters and I felt the romance was forced. Overall, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.

I've never read anything by these two authors before but I'm glad I got to read this one. I liked that you've got a little enemies-to-lovers, a vlogger and a bookstore owner that has a couple of secrets up her sleeve. There's also some great secondary characters that are pretty cool. I just really liked the storyline, it kept me interested and entertained. I would for sure check out the second book, I liked Kali's bestie Val.

Great story! Ten and Kali get us to a turmoil of emotions and feelings I can't explain. Ten is funny and driven, Kali is dark and so much trouble but together they are fireworks and love!

Kali is content living her life in town of Aspenridge, running her book store, all her secrets safely hidden.
Except Ten is threatening to disrupt everything with his charming, and hot body and his curious nature. He suspects everything is not as it seems with Kali and Em-Dash, and he can’t help himself from investigating and knowing all there is to know about Kali.
I enjoyed reading Crazy Love. It is well written and flows at a steady pace with well defined characters. I’m curious to know what the authors have in store for Val, next.

I am a fan of Christi Snow and I was happy to grab a copy of this book. I had read the Naked Brews series when it was under the KB Jacobs and I loved it and I was happy to read about some of the couples here. Anyway back to this one Ten is captivated with Kali the owner of Em-Dash a bookstore. He is a very successful blogger and he loves getting a rise out of her, but their chemistry is about to burst. Kali wont admit that she is attracted to Ten she think he is just an annoying vlogger. They get roped in to work on a ball and they finally, finally acted on the attraction, but Kali has a secret and she is worried about what others will think of her if it comes out. Ten discovers the secret and is hurt that she didn't trust him with it. Will they call it quits or is it worth fixing? Well my friends grab a copy and Enjoy! because I sure did

I love books with big secrets that can scare away someone and enemies-to-lovers romance. So put the two together and I thought for sure I've have a big win here.

Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Minor spoilers ahead (most are known within the first few chapters).

Kaliope has two secrets she's trying to keep from the world. The first, that her mom killed her dad when in the middle of a schizophrenic episode. For all the want of this not getting out, she never changes her name, and her fear is more that she could be "crazy" than anything else. I didn't like that they repeatedly reference schizophrenia as "being crazy." Yes, her mom committed a horrible crime caused by undiagnosed schizophrenia, but it seems pretty insensitive to repeatedly call schizophrenia (or any mental illness) crazy.

Kaliope's second secret, and the one she seems most concerned about getting out, is that she is also the reclusive author of the best-selling horror/sci-fi novels that deal with gore and murder. She compares her writing to Stephen King, but then says that if anyone knew she wrote these books they'd think she was crazy. As far as I know no one is walking around saying King needs to be institutionalized or is a basket case because of what he writes, so why she thinks they'll do that to her, I don't know.

As for Ten, he is a vlogger who wants to be an investigative journalist. He doesn't do much investigating, contrary to the synopsis. The extent of it is a quick google search and a call in to a friend who owes him who then comes back with some info on who owns Kali's bookstore. There's really not much more to say about him as I found him quite boring.

The romance itself felt bland and lacked a tension I love, especially with the enemies-to-lovers trope. There were enjoyable moments, but overall Crazy Love was a miss for me.

I really liked Kali and Ten's love story. I love, love stories about nerdy, book lovers. I often dream of one day owning a book store and bringing the joy of reading to the masses. I'm happy that Kali was able to fulfill this dream and that Ten is a kindred spirit. What is most intriguing about this novel is the compelling depth of both characters. Kallí has a dark past that she deals with by exposing the ugliness in her writing. She pushes Ten away because she doesn't want to hurt him but Ten is drawn to the elusive mystery that she conveys and her imperfections only intrigue him.
The author has done an incredible job in revealing the sadness and complexity of these characters. They want to be together but are limited by their fear of exposure. I loved that Kalli has the courage at the end to show Ten what he means to her through her books and tattoos. To show such vulnerability when you are so afraid of the outcome is the ultimate reflection of love.
Thank you Netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a good book, at times I loved it but at times I was a little bored! This is Kaliope and Tennyson book, Kali opens a local bookstore called Em-dash and Tenn is a YouTube channel vlog hottie! As I said it was a little boring at times but definitely was a cute story! It was really hot 🔥 too! Definitely some high steam factor in this one! Tenn and Kali have to do the local masquerade party which pushes them together but Kali has a lot of deep secrets! I really enjoyed the secrets that she had lol I definitely would like to hear more about her brother! I do recommend this book it's worth reading but drags a little! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

Ten is like a caveman, “clothes off now,” Ten grunted out while ripping off his shirt. In seconds he was moving on to the buttons of his jeans." I liked this book, I liked Ten.
