Everybody Loves Mickey by Therese M. Travis is a really fun Christmas read. While everyone else loves Mickey, it does not impress Aubrey. Mickey is a firefighter, good looking and has a great singing voice. What’s not to love? Aubrey is on the parish staff and Mickey volunteers on a regular basis. Aubrey does her best to avoid contact with him at the parish office and church building. Does she really dislike him or is there an underlying issue? What happens when the office staff and choir seem to be conspiring to throw them together?
I enjoyed this story very much. It is a short story so I read it within a day. I give it 5 of 5 stars. I loved all the characters and they seemed very realistic. Parts are funny, some sad and some exciting as Mickey and Aubrey try to find middle ground and build some kind of relationship.
I received an advance copy of this book through Netgalley in exchange for my honest review.

This is a short little novella about falling in love after trying hard not to. Mickey has changed but how can Aubrey be sure it will last. She tries really hard not to let herself fall in love.

This is a sweet novella that I received from the publisher through Netgallery. This is my honest and voluntarily given review. After drunkenly kissing his Aubrey, Mickey hurts her with his apology. Three years later, Mickey has changed his life but is still too embarrassed to look into the eyes of Aubrey. This is a light amusing story where everyone at church wants to match them together. I enjoyed reading this story.

If you are looking for a nice novella to cuddle up with, look no farther.

Everyone loves Mickey. All except Aubrey. She still can't get over him drunkily kissing her followed by him saying that he'd have to be drunk in order to kiss her again. Even if he has changed and turned his life around, Aubrey still can't stand him. And she doesn't appreciate all the matchmakers trying to set her up with him.

Mickey knows what he did to Audrey was wrong and he's so ashamed of himself that he hasn't been able to look her in the eyes for three hears. How can he tell her that he really has changed and how can he show her that he loves her?

This was a easy to read novella with a good story and a good message. I did find, however Aubrey's hatred toward Mickey a bit too annoying. Aside from that, it's a job well done.

This book is appropriate for all ages
