This is an excellent book for survivors of trauma. Her writing style is clear and rings with authenticity. I would recommend this book to Christian survivors of abuse and those who love and care for them.

I am reviewing a copy of Healing the Wounds of Sexual Abuse through Baker Academic & Brazo’s Press and Netgalley:
In Healing the Wounds of Sexual Abuse the author delves into the tough subject matter of sexual abuse and how to help survivors, this book delves into the subjects of Sex trafficking. This book illuminates the good news of healing and the liberation the Bible offers survivors of Sexual Abuse.
As an expert in Pastoral ministry as well as a sexual abuse survivor Elaine Heath deals with these tough topics with sensitivity and grace.
I give Healing the Wounds of Sexual Abuse five out of five stars!
Happy Reading
I sped through this one. The topic of sexual abuse isn't something that's talked about much in the church. This book is important. The Old Testament references surprised me, but they made complete sense. The questions and suggested activities at the end of each chapter were also encouraging.
