This story is so sweet! This story follows a Mama Owl and her baby as they go on a little night adventure. Mama Owl shows baby owl that she will always be there for and love him.

I loved the positive message in this story! It is a fantastic book for parents to read with their children. My kids loved it and thought it was so neat how the baby owl had a mama too. I also loved the fun play on words throughout too. It made it very enjoyable to read. The art work was beautiful and I really enjoyed looking at it.

Wonderful children's book from beginning to end!!

"Owl Love You" tells the story of a mother owl teaching her baby about life, and solidifying the love and dedication she has for this baby. The mother owl's words are informational and touching, and the illustrations are stunning. I highly recommend reading this to a young child before bed.

This is such a precious book!

A simple story about a little owl and his mama exploring the night. I love the play on words. Little Owl asks, "Hoo'll…" and Mama Owl answers, "Owl..." The illustrations are beautiful and engaging. I teach kinder and would use this book to teach rhyming, inference, word play and illustrations.

A very sweet bedtime story, with Mama owl soothing little owl's worries and providing reassurance and love. The illustrations are absolutely beautiful, and have a bit of a retro feel to them A perfect baby shower gift!

Filled with gorgeous, striking illustrations, the book, which was apparently designed to help children finally fall asleep, is a cute reminder that some critters are just getting started when the sun goes down, and that a whole new (animal) world comes out to play. The author provides the poetic story of a mom and baby owl as they fly through the night on a tour of the area.

Many thanks to NetGalley and Cameron & Company for the advance read.

The sun goes to sleep and Mama and her baby owl wake up... it's time to fly into the night and unlock what it has to offer.

"The sun is setting. Open your eyes.
No more sleeping, little one, wake up! Surprise!"

Immediately sweet little owlet begins to fire questions at his Mama wondering about his safety and protection for the night. He asks questions like: Hoo'll catch me when I flutter and fall?, Hoo'll fly by my side and keep me in sight?, and Hoo'll make up a song and sing me a tune? just to name a few. Mama Owl patiently assures his little heart that she will be there to guide, play and protect him words that highlight his innocence and her incredible wisdom. They take to flight and observe many creatures of the forest: hedgehogs playing hide-and seek and peek-a-boo, foxes running halter-skelter, a big old bear scratching his back against a tree and bats hanging upside down from tree branches. Once safety back home Mama softly tells her little one, "Owl always love you!"

This sweet and heartwarming story is a perfect bedtime read. Kids will love the simple rhymes and the illustrations are truly beautiful and brilliant using a dark nightime pallet. This book celebrates a special bond of trust and love between a mother and her beloved baby owlet. The whole mood of the book is comforting, calming and reassuring making it ideal to share before you turn off the light and give a hug and kiss goodnight to your own little one. I highly recommend this book.

Little owlet wakes up one morning and begins to ask its mother many questions seeking reassurance.

"Hoo'll catch me when I flutter and fall?"
"Owl catch you, my dear, tail feathers and all."

The mother owl comforts her little one and explains that she'll always be there. They go about their night as owlet asks question after question until it's finally time for sleep in the morning again.

I liked that the parent owl on the cover is stated to be the mother, but isn't really specified in the story, so it could be a dad or mom. Also, the owlet can be either a boy or girl. There isn't a whole lot of story here, but the message is so heartwarming and comforting. It reminds children of the love their parents have for them and that they can count on them to be there through thick and thin.

The story is very simply written with short poetic verses. It's short and sweet for young readers. The magical nocturnal setting makes this a perfect bedtime book as the illustrations light up the pages. My 5-year-old fell in love with it and wants to read it every night now. This quickly became a favorite!

Loved the illustrations like crazy. They're so bold, colorfull and sweet. And I think the story is also not so bad, especially for curious kids. The little owl has many questions about the jungle life and her mom answers all its questions with patience and sweetness.

A very sweet and comforting book. Not so great for reading alone, but I could see this being a fantastic bedtime story to share with a little one. Adorable illustrations too!

I received a digital ARC from the publisher via Netgalley.

The cover artwork grabbed me a first glance! The artwork is brilliant and perfect for a child. The colors are cool and calming and would make this a perfect book to read before bed or during a quiet time. I especially love the full-page illustrations; I think kids would love those. Also, the full cast of animals would be great for children to learn the different names of animals and practice those skills. The text itself reads like a quaint, whimsy lullaby and it has an almost sing-song quality that I would imagine children would love. This is perhaps one of my favorite children's book of the year!

Such beautiful illustrations and loving rhymes! Kids will definitely love this book!
I was impressed by the images and candid words. The magical natural world at nighttime is unfolding its secrets and love, cute animals painted with the heart, lively vivid colours and clear messages on each section.
This book is a little gem I'll make sure to buy as soon as available in my country.

I was immediately drawn to "Owl Love You" by the beautiful cover. This is a sweet bedtime story about an owl and baby. The page-by-page illustrations highlight all of the beautiful, animal souls inhabiting the forest. This is a story of parenthood and facing our fears while feeling safe and protected. The use of rhymes and puns were a perfect touch.

Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.

A sweet little bedtime story book about an owl and its baby. Although the book jacket says it's a mama owl, the story itself doesn't specify so a dad could just as easily read this book to his child.

As the sun sets baby owl starts to fly around with his mama. He has lots of questions for her about who will help him on this journey and his mama will help of course. Beautiful illustrations and it all rhymes, a wonderful picture book.

5 stars.

A truly beautiful book! The artwork was just stunning and so lovely to look at. You could easily spend extra time on each page taking in all of it. Just loved it! The story was just so sweet and beautifully told. A really great book to read to children, expecually at bedtime, but this is also one adults will enjoy. Highly recommended! Simply stunning. Well done.

This is such a fun bedtime story for kids in which a mother owl wakes up her baby at night and re-assures her of her love. It has nice rhymes, and I like how they incorporated the owls and the sounds they make into the spelling of the words. In addition, there was some beautiful imagery and encouraging words, but the illustrations in this book are what really stood out to me. They were just stunning and some of the best I have seen in children's literature so far!

Beautiful art, sweet story. Perfect for bedtime and for a nature loving child.

I read an advance reader copy from Netgalley.

This was a sweet book with wonderful nature illustrations for children. I read other reviews and don't agree with docking points for not having a "story". The overall message is that the momma owl will always be there for her child. The words are from the owl's perspective so instead of "I'll" you'll see "Owl, etc. Very cute!

My daughter and I just love bonding over books. This book has such beautiful pictures and a great message! We enjoyed going through each page and finding the animals - the foxes, hedgehogs, bears, and bats! We also talked about what the story meant - that mama would always be there for her! I am so thankful that books like this come around and bring up issues and words that otherwise may not be said so plainly. Such a beautiful book!
