Traitor Games has a compelling and interesting plot. However, I think I need to go back and read the first two books as I felt like I was missing some important information!! Check this one out if you like a little action with your romance!

This book was entertaining however I feel I missed a lot as I did not read the other books in this series. Hence the three stars.

I had a difficult time with this book. I started it and abandoned it several times before making myself read it. Lillian is a good character but I didn’t much care for the hero. Assassins who like what they do are hard for me to root for, even if he did love Lillian.

I’ve read all of this series, but it has become convoluted and I’m having a hard time remembering who did what. The author worked in bits and pieces but I was still saying “What?” Over and over. I think it’s time to bring this down a level.

This book just didn’t do it for me. It felt as though I was constantly trying to catch up with parts of the story that had been told in previous books in the series. Maybe that was the problem. I just wasn’t invested in any of the characters, and should have read the other books in the series before this one. I just found that there were too many characters and story lines to try to keep straight and I felt as though I was thrown in the deep end. I wanted a lot more of the book to be focused on the two main characters, Noah and Lillian. The writing was fine, but I just didn’t enjoy feeling like I was missing something.
Note: This title was given to me by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

the tarnished heroes series continues with traitor games, and the crew of underground cia agents are working to figure out the mole within the government who is the root of the problem that drives the series arc.

in this story our main leads are lillian and noah, she's an analyst with limited field experience and he's a contract hitman who prefers to live in the shadows. they shouldn't click the way they do. noah knows that his hands are probably too dirty to be good for someone like lillian, but she means something to him. and he comes to mean everything to her.

the chemistry between the two leads and the suspense and danger of the plot all come together in this fast-paced thriller. this series has been so enjoyable to read.

I freaking loved this story. Okay, so I really, really need to read books 1&2 as there is some back story to the other characters mentioned and though I didn't feel lost, per se, I did want to read those stories as well, to see how they have gotten to this part so far. Noah White is an assassin for the CIA, while he is undercover working another OP, he gets notice that he needs to take out an asset. The person he has to take out, is none other than Lillian Matthews, whom he really likes, so nope he is not going to do that, but he needs to know why she is on the CIA's hit list. He confronts Lillian and finds out some information as to why the CIA would like to kill her. Noah convinces her that her best bet is to be on the run with him. Now this is where it gets a bit tricky for me, there is obviously some chemistry between the two but Lillian is very hesitant to trust him. It seems he isn't such a nice guy, at least from her point of view, because of some of the things he has had to do and still does., Lol. Loved it! Filled with suspense, action, betrayal, secrets, and a hot intense attraction that can no longer be denied leads to a satisfactory conclusion. 4.5 stars*****

Traitor Games, the 3rd book by a new author I found by accident. This book is great mystery suspense with a fast-paced storyline, once you get past chapter two. It can be read as a standalone, but I felt the need to read the other previous books, to find out what sent the other couples on the run. Traitor Games had the plot and the right sexy scene at the right time to make this book a great entertaining read.

If you enjoy espionage and a couple who work perfectly together, Traitor Games will be the perfect book to add to your collection.

This is the third book in the series, introducing not one but two other couples to the fight to unmask SICA, the rogue covert agency mirroring the CIA. When CIA contract field asset, Noah White is ordered to kill Lillian Mathews, he knows that, something is wrong in the CIA, and instead his new mission is to protect her. She was living a double life to help save the world, and the sick SICA organization wants to stop her and the others so they can continue to amass wealth and power. Soon they learn that SICA has spread across the globe. Rand and Sarah from the first book, Carol and Andy from the second, in addition to two CIA agents Mitch and Irene have all been framed by SICA and are branded traitors. With other allies, can they stop SICA, before SICA stops them all?

The author skillfully creates captivating characters in this fast pace, action packed page turner. Lots of action and intrigue and with the current revelations of chicanery in the upper echelons of both the CIA and FBI, totally believable. However, I would not recommend reading as a stand alone. Since I read the first book 2 years ago and the second last year, I had to refer back to my reviews to keep up. That is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

I received a free advanced copy of this book from NetGalley.com. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

I didn't love this book but it was very well written and full of lots of action. I just never felt compassion, or any caring, for Noah and Lillian. They're relationship didn't have the sparks I wanted either. There were so many characters and their stories were difficult for me to follow. I assume I'd have been OK if I'd read books 1 and 2 in the series.

Intense!

Crazy busy with so many moving parts and pieces it is hard to keep them all straight (even with having read the other two books in the series). Noah and Lily have a story you can't put down.

I voluntarily read an advanced copy.

My First Sidney Bristol but not my last!

Noah has been given the assignment to eliminate Lillian but he knows it’s a bogus order and that he’ll do anything to protect her. Lillian is used to being behind the scenes but now she’s very much front and center and needs Noah.

I love a good romantic suspense and Traitor Games did not disappoint. I do wish I had read the first books in the series but the action and chemistry of this one kept me turning the pages.

I can’t wait to go back and catch up on the series!

I received a complimentary review copy of this book but all opinions are my own.

So who ensures the covert operators in organisations like the CIA actually obey the law and don't work together for their own ends? In this fast paced but intricately detailed romantic suspense Noah White disobeys his order to kill Lillian Matthews, instead endeavouring to keep her safe from those out to assassinate her. This involves multiple international agencies, a rogue covert agency, blackmail, deceit, double crossing and plenty of action packed drama.

The story is part of a series but is written as a standalone so you don't need to have read the earlier books to find yourself engrossed in this story. I hadn't read the earlier books and suspect I might have found this a little less confusing if I had read about some of the diverse characters before. It isn't a quick read, involves events and organisations in several different countries and the outcome is never certain. You're never quite certain who to trust, who is working with you and who is against you, so get ready for plenty of surprises along the way. It is an engaging spy thriller with a side helping of romance, too.

I requested and was gifted a copy of this book via NetGalley and this is my honest review after choosing to read it.

The third book in this series was a bit confusing for me. I have read the other two books, but must admit I didn’t remember all the previous stories and this book was so complex; that complexity of the plot almost became a deterrent my enjoyment of the book. The book concerns the CIA, a president that the characters don’t seem to trust completely, and a host of activities that the main characters were involved in but I had a hard time following. Overall, i love Sidney Bristol books. I didn’t not like it, i just felt that overall this was a confusing storyline. It did all come together at the end of the story, and everyone got their HEA, so that made it a good book for me.

Tense. That would be a good way to describe this book. Especially in the beginning of it. I was up to 15% on my kindle and already a whole lot has happened. You can almost "taste" the danger!
Noah is a total stone-cold killer. Or is he? There is a whole lot more to him that you would think at first. Oh, he was a killer all right and he'd done a whole lot of awful things in the name of his country. Not too many people can change him from his course when he makes up his mind. But then.. Lillian happened. And suddenly he began to do things differently than he ever imagined he would. He often calls her Lily and blows hot and cold dealing with her. One of the reasons is to keep her alive but also because he knows that no way is he good for her.
Lillian has been hiding depths that few people knew about. It kind of bugged me that her sister Cami got the family business just handed to her. She was the face of the business but Lillian was the brains and guts. Cami's controlling ways were really irritating because come on, really? She's going to try to dictate all that she did?
I had to agree with one of the characters thoughts that they had a whole lot stacked against them. I had that very same thought. Lillian's first thoughts about her earlier interactions with Noah made her think he was a jerk. A dangerous one but still a jerk. Imagine her surprise when she spends more time with him and sees another side of him.
The tension and the needed moving around of the good guys and gals kept things interesting. There were several teams of people we got to see and how they helped as much as they could. Considering most of them were on the run trying to stay alive. The intensity and action keeps up throughout the story. It's also done without sacrificing the quality of the depth of each person.
Great, intense conclusion to the story as well.

Traitor Games (Tarnished Hero’s Novel) Book 3
By: Sidney Bristol

📚💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕📚

Intense page after page!

Hello book hangover. I’ve spent the last week reading all three books in the Tarnished Heroes saga. These books are intense and written to the point of intense imagination. While yes each book could be read alone I think read together gives a much better explanation of what these amazing people are fighting for.

The writing is flawless, and the words are so captivating, the plot had so many twists and turns and none that I was expecting, and many shocking moments.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Authors Blurb: Noah White has done a lot of bad things for the CIA, but this time they've crossed the line. He knows the kill order he's been given is a set-up and the intended target is another covert agent. They’ve finally found a line Noah won’t cross. Not with her.
Lillian Matthews is living in the crosshairs and she knows it. While her friends are spread out over the globe gathering intelligence on a rogue covert agency, it's her job to keep them all connected. Only now she's the target. And her unlikely ally is the last man she'd expect. Lillian will have to make the biggest sacrifice of her life, because Noah will stop at nothing to protect her.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

Traitor Games by Sidney Bristol
Tarnished Heroes #3

This one was hard to put down once I began reading! Action and suspense from beginning to end! With evil to thwart and lives on the line it is a near miracle that Noah and Lillian don’t end up injured or dead...several times!

Noah is a CIA contractor who realizes there is a line he won’t cross so instead of killing the target he soon finds himself on the run with her trying to keep her alive. Lillian is the “handler” who strategizes and keeps all the players sorted and safe. With pursuit hot on their tale they cross borders and oceans working with others who are all out to cut the head off SICA – a hidden group that has tentacles everywhere. Will they be able to achieve their goal? How many will die in the process?

What I liked:
* Noah – a cool customer with a heart of gold...swoonworthy
* Lillian – stronger than she realizes and brilliant, too
* The other couples that had previous books but play a big part in this one, too (Mitch & Irene, Andy & Carol, Rand & Sarah)
* That not everyone makes it out alive
* The bad guys eventually do get their comeuppances
* The plotting, writing and overall story
* Demetrius – interesting guy that perhaps needs a book of his own

What I didn’t like;
* The bad guys I was meant not to like

Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing – Amara for the ARC - This is my honest review.

This series is impressive. Fueled with adrenaline pumping action. This is Noah and Lillian’s story as they join the others on the run from SICA. Noah is an alpha male who is tasked with protecting Lillian. She is learning to be strong in the face of danger. As they keep dodging the bad guys they are drawn closer and closer together. You will enjoy this fast paced roller coaster ride as they try to take out the bad guys while staying one step ahead of them. In the end the goods guys stay in the lead, but is it all over.

Sidney Bristol takes us on a white knuckle ride in this wildly suspenseful, edge of your seat, page turning story. Intense and twisted, I loved every single minute of it! In the third book of this overlapping series Lillian and Noah are front and center and we also get to see the characters from the previous books.
Lillian and Noah meet again when Noah appears at her apartment to kill her. Noah is an assassin, has worked with the group before and is privy to the danger that underpins the the series, the SICA group.
Lillian acts as handler if you will for the others who are now dispersed globally to keep them safe from danger, she basically disseminates information, coordinates communication and is an expert computer "coder" along with her many other tasks. Noah doesn't want to kill Lillian, he's got some feelings there so he gives her no choice but to flee with him, while operating off the radar and Noah feels their best bet is to flee the country while trying to figure out who the rat in the woodpile is. The mystery person we get the gist works for the government yet their identity is in question along with formulating a plan to take down SICA once and for all. It was great to get a look at the previous books characters, their lives now and their efforts in pulling all this off.
The story is full of twist and turns which is an understatement, suspense builds and never lets up along with the feelings between Noah and Lillian. I will admit I cursed Ms Bristol a few times wondering if she was truly trying to kill me with the curves she continued to throw into the story. She gave me a serious case of whiplash along with "damn I didn't see that coming." Truly a page turner.
This full length book is a must read along with the first two in the series. My thanks to Ms Bristol for the almost heart attacks and her writing skills that just don't quit. She's an adept storyteller in every way, shape and form.
