I couldn’t empathize nor care about any of the characters not situations. Sadly, I couldn’t finish this one though I tried

I loved the idea of this book but there was less 'travel content' than I hoped for. Each section does introduce a new place and Louie does go round a few places such as Rome and Greenland but none of the places really stand out to a large degree. I think this is because places are mentioned but not examined or explored and he spends his time talking about everything else apart from where he is and why he is there.

IT was also very wordy which dragged the story down and let it down for me in the end. The premise did keep me reading and there were some very funny moments in there but I didn't get to enjoy the journey like I thought I would.
