Tadcaster And The Bullies by Richard Rutherford is the most delightful children’s book, suitable for ages eight to adult.
Any book that has a dog in it, is sure to get my vote. Beautifully illustrated, I got to see Tadcaster, a wonderful Yorkshire Terrier. I read it on my kindle, I imagine that a paperback is even better.
Tadcaster is definitely the hero of the story in my eyes. He is a small dog with a big personality.
The novel shows how we can help others. It has the theme of combatting the bullies and the motto of ‘one good turn deserves another.’
I thought Tadcaster And The Bullies was positively charming. I wish I had a Tadcaster in my life.
A wonderful read with a strong moral lesson.
I received this book for free. A favourable review was not required and all views expressed are my own.

Suitable for readers from upper elementary school through middle grades, this book focuses on bullying and how it ruins fun for all. The main protagonists are brother and sister who get along well and can have fun together. When trouble shows up, so does an amazing little dog with a big secret.
Although bullying is mean and hurtful, this book deals with it in a sensitive way. The kids take responsibility and try to do the right thing.
Parents will enjoy this book along with their children.
Tadcaster does his best to help.
