It is always good to listen to the testimonies of those who have met Jesus as their saviour and walk in his Spirit to share the love of God.
This book is a collection of heart-felt reflections about how some people have been introduced, have had revealed to them or been sustained in their walk of faith through the ministry of Billy Graham.
The compilers have ensured a far reaching cross section of letters and contacts from those thanking God for this faithful evangelist. Many cannot hold back on their gratitude for Graham’s crusades over the radio, TV or in person and the importance of the Holy Spirit in bringing them to their knees to accept salvation or rededicate their lives to God.
I enjoyed reading about the consistency of preaching, the commitment to preach a saving gospel and the character of a man in the image of his Saviour.
Throughout their are words about his humility and stories about a simple man of faith.
I enjoyed the book but felt it was at times just a little repetitive. I liked that it was grounded mostly in historical events. A city crusade or when Billy Graham came to town but as great as it must be for those individuals to have their letters in this book it is all much of the same. Such platitudes are not going to further enhance this great preacher’s reputation. However, perhaps every entry may reflect in general many a reader’s own experience and strengthen their faith along the way.
It would have appealed to me more if more commentary was included; about each aspect. The logistics of each event, why his preaching was always on the radio and TV; more background details to compliment a chronological journey in his ministry.
This is not a criticism the book stands on what it set out to do and is a beautiful testimony to God at work during Graham’s ministry and among those who became fishers of others in their response.

Many generations of us have the memories of hearing the Reverend Billy Graham speak from the heart about the Savior Jesus Christ. This book is a collection of messages and testimonies from around the world covering decades of reactions to the work of this man of God. It is a touching tribute to years of work and sacrifice. It is stories from the heart about how Billy Graham was used of God though radio, television, movies and books to reach out to all who would listen and accept Christ as Savior. It is a special honoring of a grandfather, "Daddy Bill," that his grandchildren Jerusha, Aram and Boz have gleaned notes and letters sent to or about him and shared them in this collection. All the messages arein the words of people who reached out to say thank you or give brief messages of how their lives were changed or touched by the Graham ministry.
For those of us who spent time listening , watching or reading the messages Billy Graham shared there are memories. Truly the beginning lines from "Just As I Am" is simply enough to bring back the song that rang out at the end of every service. In our minds we see the man standing there, Bible open in one hand and his earnest words as he shared his faith and invitation for each of us to take part in God's gift of eternal life. The title chosen for the book is perfect, Well Done, Billy Graham. Well done thou good and faithful servant!
There are glimpses into the humble man that some of these people saw when meeting him personally. One man ended his message with the following...

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher along with Billy Graham's grandchildren for this compilation of testimonies. It is a book that can help give hope and remind us that there is a family that serves the Lord to this day because a man followed God's leading for his life. Just think what we all can do.

This book closely resembles an anthology, it is a collection of memories of the man known as Billy Graham.

In order to be able to enjoy the book in depth later, I skimmed several of the shorter testimonies and only three or four of the longer ones. I will say it was refreshing to read the many ways and places Pastor Graham's ministry touched people.

This is what I consider 'coffee table reading'. Something you pick up from time to time to feel inspired by the memory of a man of God who loved people enough to share God with them!

Well Done, Billy Graham is well worth reading.

My only disappointment is, I was kind of hoping for something more biographical...but that's a personal desire and nothing negative about the book.

Billy Graham was a highly respected evangelist who led many people to salvation in Jesus Christ, and in celebration of his 100th year, his grandsons have compiled recollections submitted to ThankYouBilly.com which was organized by three of his grandchildren. I, myself, submitted a note of thanks to Dr. Graham on the website. Billy Graham passed away on Feb. 21, 2018 at the age of 99. Indeed, he heard the words "Well done, thy good and faithful servant" from God when he entered the pearl gates of Heaven.
This is an easy read and very special tribute to Dr. Graham. His three grandsons also wrote their own recollections of Daddy Bill as they called their grandfather. A foreword was written by Michael Reagan, son of Ronald Reagan, former US President. All those who personally knew Billy Graham noted that the public man and the private man were precisely the same. Billy was a humble man and faithful servant of God, and the evangelist seen in public was the very same private man. So many people attribute their salvation or the seed planted that led to their later salvation to Billy Graham and each of the personal and heartfelt recollections reflect this idea.
I highly recommend this to readers, whether Christian or not. Perhaps those who are not saved through Jesus Christ will come to know him through this book, which is the hope and desire of his three grandsons.

Billy Graham's grandchildren , Jerushah Armfield, Aram Tchividjian, and Boz Tchividjian, set up a website for people who were touched by Billy to share their experiences. This book has stories from the website, that the grandchildren gathered together to celebrate Billy‘s life and how he changed so many lives for the better by showing the world how much God loved them.

Many of the stories in the book are from people who had health issues, dysfunctional childhoods and were suffering the consequences of the own bad choices. They are very open about what they were facing and how listening to Billy and coming to God changed their lives.

This book is very inspiring. It’s always heartwarming to hear how God changes lives.

Billy Graham is admired the world over, called pastor to the presidents, even held in the greatest esteem by Queen Elizabeth II. I myself have long admired him and read many books about and by him. This is a collection of short testimonials from people from all over and from many walks of life detailing what he and his ministry has meant to them. Some are powerful and poignant and all are inspiring. Billy Graham loved God and his entire ministry was geared toward pointing people to Jesus. Well done indeed, faithful servant!

The people shared how Billy impacted their lives. The stories are very personal and moving. His crusades reached many people and many people came to a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus. It is wonderful that these grandchildren wrote this book so these memories will continue on and still influence our broken world.
