When a body is found on the beach of Borteen Bay Pippa finds that she has to speak to her old school friend Ethan for the first time in years as he is the policeman in charge, but what can her mother possibly have to do with it? Will she and Ethan become more than friends?

Another lovely book by this author, heartwarming but with a bit of intrigue to keep the interest

I promise you'll be hooked on this holiday read, romance with a twist of a mystery to boot! Delightful novella length will put you in the holiday spirit! A book lovingly set in a seaside village I could imagine myself walking barefoot on the beach as the waves crashed to the shore. Christmas is a bittersweet time for Pippa Freeman. There are good memories of course but some she'd really rather forget. Then when her mother is implicated in a strange occurrence close to their home and the town finds out about it could it really get any worse? Lost friendships renewed, secrets found out and resolved and second chance love. Warm book for your holiday I know you'll enjoy!

A tale of an old friendships, broken friendships, love and a chance to make amends and many secrets. So much going on in this sweet story. Pippa and Ethan went to school together and were bullied, this is the story of what happens later when they meet again. An enjoyable Christmas read

Morton S. Gray is a new author to me.  I was very impressed with her writing and this is a cracking story to get you into the festive mood.

Set in a lovely seaside town with a gorgeous beachfront where everyone knows everyone else and you know that even when things appear to be so so bad, there will always be friends around to help and keep you going!  I want to visit Borteen Bay!

Who doesn't love a little romantic suspense set around Christmas. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a Christmas romance.

Thank you to NetGalley, Choc Lit and Morton S. Gray for the opportunity to read and review this novel prior to publication.
