I wasn’t able to finish this book. Because of this, it is my policy not to review the book on my site or on Goodreads/Amazon. I also didn’t mark it DNF.

I don’t normally like to trash books, so I will not review this title online. To the publisher: The author claims that her program will solve any problem. Impossible. She seemed very troubled by her Father’s lack of acceptance of her ideas, which I would also consider “out there”. This was a very silly book.

I'm not quite sure how to start with this one. This book doesn't fit neatly into a category. It's not exactly a spiritual book, but I think it requires a certain level of belief in the premise if you plan to use the steps outlined within. I did find this book fascinating though. Though most Christians would probably label this book "New Age" there are, in my opinion, some similarities between the Christian concept of the Holy Spirit and this author's description of an energy outside of ourselves that we can tap into to improve our lives. One of the things I liked about this book is that it's written and presented in a very orderly yest easy to read manner. Her descriptions of the steps have enough detail to be replicated while also being concise. There are many stories of people who have used this methodology and seen great improvements in their lives. Will I be trying the methods for myself. Not sure but reading this book has definitely given me food for thought.

The Energy Codes is an interesting blend of meditation, yoga, and energy work the author has designed to support clients with improving their energy, health, and lives. Most of the information won't be new to people already interested in energy work, manifesting, and the idea that your thoughts create your life. I enjoyed reading about specific exercises, such as the Morter March and mPower step (although I don't quite understand how they support the central nervous system).

Readers will appreciate the various exercises associated with each chakra, and ideas for 10 and 30-minute daily practices. I don't think this book offers new information, but rather a new way of integrating practices readers might already have.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I had a hard time with this book. I love books on alternative medicine and energy healing but this book just seemed weighty. I think the author could have done a lot differently. I really liked the part when she finally got to the energy codes but before that it was a bit tedious. I'm in the middle on this book as I loved the information but it was a bit hard to get through.

I would like to thank Netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book free of charge. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of it.

Energy healing is nothing new. It is as ancient as Bible and other holy scriptures. It is being continuously rediscovered by more and more people searching for deeper meaning of life.

New discoveries continue to lead to the energy field and to a new branch of science called epigenetics – simply put, “our environment is more important than our genetic inheritance.”

The key is to live as conscious energy being. The codes are to help us to shift from Protective Personality to Soulful Self, which can also happen spontaneously. The seven Energy Codes are to help us achieve just that.

There is a lot of explaining instead of getting to the point. I was hoping that once I got to the Energy Codes the information would be more concise. But it was the same execution and at that point I lost my interest. I wasn’t even able to finish reading about the codes and its practices.

I am a huge believer in what is presented in the premise, but the execution is the problem. I have noticed that MD writers are too focused on technical aspect: explaining every step of the way, rather than presenting essence. That’s why I’m at a point that I’d rather read a book that is not focused on some ‘technical presentation.’ As I have noticed those books usually don’t work because of the explanatory writing.
