This was a good book and great addition to the series. I was a little shocked that there were absolutely no sex scenes in this book, no shocking seeing as this author writes characters whole believe in waiting until marriage but it was weird not having that aspect in the book.
Even more shocking was that it was the guy in the book who was celibate which was refreshing to see.

There were parts where I felt irritated with the characters...mainly Ashton for her idiotic moments, but those moments weren’t often.

This definitely wasn’t my favorite in this series but I enjoyed reading it, and the sexual tension in this book was like a living thing all on its own.
If you’re looking for a book that is pure romance without all the explicit scenes then this is definitely the author for you.

Ambitious intern Ashton Bailey is about to get closer to her dream of being a sports announcer. All she has to do is prove that too-perfect-to-be-true NFL quarterback Evan Dawson isn’t quite as wholesome as his contract requires. It’s also the perfect opportunity to get delicious payback on the boy who broke her teenage heart. At least that’s her plan. When I started reading I couldn't put it down. Sariah Wilson is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book.

Loved #Awestruck!!! Evan is swoon worthy for sure! I especially adored all the little details that make the couple so realistic. My favorite was the whole left and right handed thing when it came to eating together. My hubby and I are the same so this was a detail that made me smile. Another similarity to my life is my hometown football team are the Lumberjacks!! Lol

Good grief, I love this author! Few writers can successfully write clean romances without them being ridiculously cheesy! Sariah TOTALLY nails this concept like no other author I’ve found. This book was yet again, another fantastic story!! Do yourself a favor and one-click everything she writes!!!

#Awestruck by Sariah Wilson a five-star read that you will find awesome. This is the third novel in the #Lovestruck series, but they can be read as stand-alone as this is the first one, I’ve read and I don’t feel like I’ve missed anything, however I have gone back and ordered the first two as I enjoyed this one so much. Evan ‘Awesome’ Dawson is a great man, he may not have always been that way, but we will see eventually. All he has to do is prove that he is as honest as his game. Ashton Bailey is trying to prove that that he isn’t as honest and straight as he proposes. Que hilarity and openness that wills shock and secrets that will have your heart sinking. This was such a sweet read that I can’t wait to go back and read the first two.

Great, EXCELLENT story! I love Ashton (a girl name) and Evan story. We all have a High school crushes, and athletes are all girls crush, Evan was Ashton crush, first love and friend. Evan is a committed virgin and fall hard when reunited with his HS friend. Would Ashton breaks Evan commitment? You have to read thus to know.
I enjoyed reading this book and recommend it. I received a ARC from Netgalley for a honest review.

I am so #AWESTRUCK by the talented Sariah Wilson! She takes words and create strong characters, a rich plot and a clean, wholesome romance worthy of the Hallmark channel. It is the story of Ashton, a young woman trying to break in to the field of sports announcing, and Evan, a star NFL quarterback, who knew each other during high school. Without divulging any spoilers, Ashton has reason to hate Evan going back to those school days. Evan has regretted those past events and when they meet again a decade later, he is taken by surprise by the woman standing before him. You will have to read this absolutely lovely novel worthy of 5 stars!

So, so good!

I have really enjoyed this series, it's loads of fun and packed with swoony romance. I didn't even read the synopsis before diving into this one, I can always trust that I'll love whatever Ms Wilson writes and sometimes it's just fun to jump in without knowing what's going to happen.

Ashton and Even have a history together, one that Ashton is not quite ready to forgive or forget. Their past adds a fun element and chemistry to the story. I don't want to give too much away because the doesn't come out until January. But, I will say it was awesome! I couldn't put it down and loved every minute!

It wasn’t really for me. It’s way too tame a romance for me personally. I like a bit more heat, if you don’t then this might be great for you. As there is no heat.

I felt the story whilst really well written was quite juvenile. And it just didn’t sit well with me

I didn’t warm to the characters he didn’t behave well and didn’t do much to redeem himself. She was hard to like in part because if she wanted to punish him she could have just told the truth all over the place she had loads of credibility and networks to do that. But yet she wanted a weird revenge. She was a spoilt narrow character, all the careers on the planet are open to her and she has only one thing in one place that she wants. And of course he is key to it all. Yawn

I wanted to love this book. It's my first by this author and the blurb drew me into the story and had my attention.

Ashton and Evan have a nasty history in high school, and she never heard his side of the story or allowed him to apologize. So, when her boss at the sports network where she works wants her to complete an expose to catch him not being who he says he is, she is all in.

Evan, you see, is a virgin. And, he is famous for it. It's well known and Ashton is convinced she is going to be able to prove this is a lie.

This is a sweet title, which I was expecting. And, there is nothing in it that is explicit. Which is fine. If there is chemistry, a connection, and obvious attraction with the characters, you don't need the sexscenes or the hot chemistry. Unfortunately, there was not a bit of chemistry, I didn't believe the attraction, and there was no connection between Ashton and Evan.

In order for a romance to work, I have to believe there is passion between the characters. It was completely missing in this story. I do not recommend this title.

#Awestruck, A #Lovestruck Novel -Book 3, Sariah Wilson

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

Genre: Romance, General Fiction (adult)

Well, both characters here have a heavy backstory. Its left Ashton with a real issue with Evan, determined to get revenge. When I found out what he'd done I was with her all the way, it was a huge chunk of her teens years destroyed, and the effects were still colouring her life. So when her boss wants someone to bring him down she's there.

Evan also had a difficult backstory, which left him with trust issues, and I felt for the boy he was. Still, knowing what had happened between then at school I was predisposed to hate him, yet as good authors do, Sariah shows us a different side of him. I still didn't understand though why he didn't take a different course over the events that had such an impact on Ashton. It may not have been quite as she thought but Evan could still have altered events by doing something instead of sitting back and letting it play out.

Anyway, here we are with Evan being a well known virgin, determined to wait for marriage. It seemed a little weird TBH in this day and age, but I did like his reasons, his determination. Like her boss, Ashton can't believe he's stuck to his resolve though and is determined to find someone to prove he's a liar, that he's not the all round good guy everyone believes.

I did find hanging the story of his ruin hanging onto the celibacy issue a little weak. I can't really believe even if she did succeed that it would adversely affect his career, when he's so good at his job, brings such prestige to the team and the area. When others are involved in drug, sex, drinking scandals would this really have been such a big thing?

I think that and the lack of action on Evan's part when they were teens, along with Ashton's obsession with her career to the point she'll work to bring someone down was why this book didn't feel a real success for me. Its hard for me to like someone who's out to dig dirt on another person, destroy their success, their career, its what current media does all the while and I hate it.
It's a well written story but I didn't find the plots believable, and I had problems liking both characters after the things they did, or didn't, do. I need to get behind characters, to root for the HEA and here I wasn't keen on ether of them, and not really invested in how they ended up. I enjoyed the earlier stories, so hope this was just a blip.

Stars: Three, a well written story but I felt the plot was a little strange in this time, and the characters both had some dislike-able traits.

This is my 3rd book by Sariah Wilson, and it was amazing ! The Banter and dialogue between Ashton and Evan was probably the best for me ! I really enjoyed how the story develops from friends (in the past) to enemies ( well from Ashton’s point of view ) to friends and then to lovers. I enjoyed how the story came full circle. The ending had me happy yet being sad it was over! This is the perfect book to curl up on a rainy day!

Thank you Netgalley for my ARC

I received a copy of #Awestruck by Sariah Wilson from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was the second novel by Sariah Wilson that I had read (first book was #Starstruck) and I was very pleased that all the fantastic things I liked in her first novel were again present.

First, a fast-moving plot with entertaining dialogue between the characters (primary characters as well as secondary). Next, well developed characters that you wanted to like and empathized with. Her characters are flawed and make mistakes, but you root for them and want them to have a happily ever after. Third, and I can't stress enough, the banter between her characters was great. Hilarious often, at times serious, but always well crafted and never boring.

It was a fun book to curl up by the fire on a cold winter day. I would read future novels by Sariah Wilson without hesitation.

Honestly Sariah is one of those authors that if I see a new release I just get so excited. Lovestruck series has been one of my favorites and Awestruck didn’t disappoint.
The thing I love more is that Ashton fought hard but Evan fought harder with his heart. This book was everything I wanted and more. I’m hoping for another book.

I have fallen in love with this series from Sariah Wilson. #AWESTRUCK, is about a career driven woman who was scorned in high school by a crush, who is now the biggest hottest QB in the NFL. As an intern for a popular sports network, she is tasked with an assignment to tarnish his golden-boy reputation.

The story between Ashton and Evan is a unique one. It kept me craving more and more as I turned the pages. Ashton learns a hard lesson in forgiveness, integrity, standing-up for what is right and how to fight for what you want. The Hero is nothing short of a true gentleman who is trust-worthy and knows what he deserves and what he wants.

Well written, Great character development. Awesome ending! I can't wait to see what Sariah Wilson has in store for us next! #InLove

Mediocre at best. I didn't feel any real connection to the series. It was just meh. I guess another bits the dust.
