Sadly, this book was not my cup of tea. I wanted to like it, truly. The premise was interesting enough., and the writing was okay, though nothing special. But something about this story simply did not click with me.

I did not grow to care about the characters much at all, as such I did not feel invested in their journey. It was certainly interesting to have a main character with panic disorder and I am glad that's being represented here. But everything just felt too surface level.

Perhaps, this book would've read better for someone who is new to YA fantasy. Sadly, I do not fit into that audience.
