I've tried reading this book numerous times since I got this ARC in the fall of 2018. But every time I find that even though the beginning was really good and cute, the story just goes downhill fast. Something about it just doesn't work for me and I keep finding myself bored to tears.

This is my first novel I've read by L.J Greene and needless to say, I am impressed! It left me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't help but root for Keir and Selene. There is definitely a strong connection between the two that you can't help but want them to have their happily ever after. A great storyline about being stuck between being a lover/friend and dealing with life changing events.

I look forward to reading other parts of the series!
