I think that this is a well written and useful resource however I found that the writing style was not for me.

This is a great book for personal development. I recommend this book for anyone who feels stalled out and need a kick start for motivation. Thank you for the opportunity to review this book on Net Galley

Each person no matter who or where they come from has a fear, or fears, of some description. I know people who are fearful about living their life outside of a romantic relationship, those who have anxiety about death and some about life, but for me, it always used to be talking to a large concentration of people, and I am a strong believe that it's healthy to face your fears. That was a very small part of why I chose the degree I did. Through seminars and moots (mock trials) especially my fear lessened substantially. That was due to exposure to that particular worry.

Here, Emma Mardlin Ph.D explores methods of facing our fears, no matter what they may be, and ultimately conquering them. There are lots of handy hints and tips to help readers channel that negative energy into something positive and to slowly and incrementally neutralise those worries and anxieties. This is particularly helpful for and geared towards those who haven't read anything else on this topic and is an in-depth and comprehensive introduction.

Many thanks to Findhorn Press for an ARC.

I read a lot of books in the genre and was a little disappointed that I didn't find anything new in this one. Some of the exercises are good, but I am not a fan of the add up your score tests (too general to be of any use). I think it is a book that will appeal to many readers though, especially those who have not explored this type of self help book before. The authors own experience will appeal to many readers too. I think it is a good in depth book, but just not for me. Thank you
