If you are looking for a quick survival guide for the complicated moments of childhood and parenting, I highly recommend this book. I feel like the authors eavesdropped on the parenting conversations I have in all of my friendships and then solved all of our problems in this book.

This book does exactly what it says it does in a simple and organized format with a beautiful layout. If you are looking for an in-depth look at child development or developmental psychology, this is not the book for you. It is exactly what it claims to be.

This would make a great gift for any parent to be. It will likely take a special spot on their bookshelf and be referenced many times!

One of my favorite quotes was, "We can never go wrong by reaching first for empathy." We will all be better parents if we take this to heart.

The publisher provided an ARC through Netgalley. I have voluntarily decided to read and review, giving my personal opinions and thoughts

I absolutely loved this book and wish I had it sooner! This book gave so much insight on the way our children see the world and express themselves through their emotions and curiosity. I picked up so many valuable nuggets on parenting my young and curious child. This book is a must read for every parent! I will definitely be gifting this to a few of the special Moms that I know!

I've read a TON of parenting books. I really enjoyed this one. It was extremely informative and easy to read. I like that if I need a little refresher on something, it's super easy to find in the chapter outline.

This book wasn't my favorite. The set up and design of the book itself is perfect and easy to read. However, the information was too broad and liberal to really be informative. I know that parenting has a lot of different angles and most books take a certain stance, this book doesn't but that makes it more difficult to understand. Even if I don't agree with a perspective, I'm glad to have the information. But this book doesn't really have a stance. I have read other child psychology books that I believe are more applicable. Just wasn't a fan of this one.
