I mostly enjoyed this book. I thought the pace initially was good and I was pulled into the story and was eager to know what happened next. I did not warm to any of the main characters really, although perhaps this was partly the point and I didn't prefer the use of other voices other than Abi or Mel as I thought this was not needed. Enjoyed the ending though although would have liked to know more what happened on the 'other side'

As I’ve said in other reviews, I love when “old friends” reunite. It’s never gonna turn out peachy...nope.

Brilliant. Yes, elements of this are slightly predictable but it's the perfect cosy winter read to just sit down and get absorbed in. Loved it. Another excellent book by Adele Parks.

Wow, what a twisted novel this is.
It was somewhat predictable, but many of the plot twists came as a surprise. I definitely recommend this book!

Great read. Too many plot twist to count, unfortunately many of them were easy to see coming. Still grabs you in and at some pints was lagging while other parts were page turners.

I Invited Her In by author Adele Parks is a great novel full of character and plot with twists throughout the way. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and totally recommend it to others! A very fun domestic feel with fast paced parts that have your pulse going.

This book sucked me in all through the first half, but halfway in there is a twist I cannot support. I don’t want to spoil but it is probably the most unbelievable, disturbing thing I have read as a mother, and I just cannot believe that the protagonist would let it be. Now I understand that psychological thrillers depend upon their protagonist making bad choices and generally being too stupid to live in order to manifest thrills, but this was just too much. I literally clutched my pearls. Five for the first, one for the last, averaging out to three. Think of the children.

This book is moving too slow for me. I don't get any of it and cannot connect with any of the characters so I gave up at 15%. Thanks NetGalley and to the publisher for this book for my honest review.

Fabulous fabulous fabulous! Riveting story was of family drama that you won't be able to put down. Writing is wonderful, great plot and characters that will elicit both your sympathy and your anger.. don't miss this one!

This was a very predictable read from the beginning, right up until the end. For me, there just wasn’t any of the mystery and/or suspense that I was looking for, and the last 50% of the book dragged on and on. I was aware of All of the “Wow” moments from the beginning of the book, and the ending was extremely predictable as well.

I started out by really liking this book, it was like an emotional train wreck, you knew it was going to be harrowing, but you couldn't stop watching. It's an excellent premise, the tension is high, but for me there was just too much detail, there were times I wished it would hurry up and get there. Plus, I wanted to smack Mel for being so enthralled by Abi. Come on...you're risking your great home life by pandering to such an obvious user who is undermining the whole structure of your life! She invites her friend to stay out of the goodness of her heart and then the friend just won't leave...
Overall, it's a good story, with one or two surprising twists, and I liked it, but it took sooo long!
