So cute and I hope there's a sequel in the works!! A perfect blend of Greek mythology and modern influences. There was lots of depth to all of the characters and relationships and I think adults and teens alike will appreciate this novel.

I received a copy from netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Lovestruck is the first book that I've ever read like he wants it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Kali is a Greek goddess who is training in becoming a Cupid. When kali accidentally sticks herself with an arrow and falls in love with a mortal she decides that she needs to change her fate. This book is definitely different some other ones that i have ever read and I enjoy how the Greek mythology interwoven into the story. I think this is a great book to read for any age.

I really enjoyed this little adventure! Kali is the daughter of Eros, the God of love. When she accidentally sticks herself with a potent love arrow, she must face the consequences of her unintended match with a mortal. The story is cute, quirky, and just dramatic enough to keep you absorbed from the first words to the last.

I liked all the characters, so much so that I would enjoy more stories from Kali's world. Deya's story? Cosmo's? Teresa's? All have the potential for great books!

The writing in this book was difficult for me to read thru smoothly I just couldn't get into the book at any point. I really wish I could have loved it because the cover is AMAZING but I just couldn't!

I want to thank the publishing company and Netgalley for giving me this opportunity to review this book. First of all, I hated this book. I couldn’t even get into it because of the amount of characters and how awful it was in general. The introduction of that many characters made me have to go back and reread sections of the story. The characters lacked depth and personality. Not to mention Kali is annoying and such a brat. She is ungrateful and undeserving of her job. She has no reason of rules or the structure of a system. Kali is there to just be Kali; she is extremely selfish and I hate it. She talks bad about the people she strikes with arrows and messes up the pairing constantly.
I don’t understand the plot of this story either. Why are there so many quick backgrounds about people, when it is unnessary. It makes the book cluttered and I useful. There really needs to be work done to this book.

A super fun read! I love any book that touches on Greco-Roman mythology, and so a whole story about the kids of gods/goddesses was awesome! I imagined this to be a little like Percy Jackson, but if the gods kept their kids around instead of pretending they didn't exist most or consigning them to life on Earth.

Kali was super fun, so sassy, and apologetically herself. As the daughter of Eros and a minor goddess herself, she is of course beautiful, but this did not play a defining role in her self-worth. She is badass and she knows it. I also super adore Hector and the relationship he and Kali have. Seeing Kali navigate being stuck by her own arrow and then falling hard for a mortal boy she was supposed to be helping was a lot of fun. Seeing her learn that there is more to a relationship than love was very poignant, and I found myself rooting against them the whole time, realizing before she did who her real true match should be.

I would absolutely read more from this author, and this will go right into my pile of eventual rereads. Totally worth reading a second time!

The writing style was hard to digest and I sort of skimmed through it to see what happened. Totally predictable which made this very disappointing.

I really enjoyed this book. I'm not really a big fan of Greek mythology but this book was so well written and interesting that I overlooked it.

Like it was the cutest, funniest book I've read in a long time.
I'm a huge fan of Percy Jackson so finding a good Greek Mythology book was hard and this one was just perfect. I loved how they handled life in Olympus and the whole Erotes things was just so clever!
Kali was cool and funny and just lost enough to be recognized as a teenager, I loved her friendships with everyone, especially Hector, they had this cute love teasing relationship that I still can't get enough off and were so good for each other, they understood each other and they are jut the best (I feel like I want another book of them but I don't want them to change).
The most surprising and amazing thing was Artemis, she was like the best teacher/fake parent ever, I did not expect that at all. Don't want to spoil but she finally gets some justice in this book.
And Kali's parents where like something unheard of in Greek Mythology and oh my God she called him Monster for God's sake! I just loved them
I was not expecting the big reveal at the end like at all but it was just as cool and amazing as everything in this book.
And we need more Theresa! She was so mysterious and I feel like she deserves a happy ending too.
And Deya and Cosmo were so unexpectedly cute I could not handle it! Like I honestly hated Aphrodite for a minute there.
I love prophecies because they give the book a whole other direction and this one deinately fulfilled it.
Uh I almost forgot Ben, he was a good boyfriend and they had cute moments but I was kind of mad at Kali at the beginning because of Zoe and everything but then I just though, well it happens in real life, why not here? And it all worked out in the end.
I loved this book and it was like the most amazing surprise, you feel happy and great reading it and I just can't wait for more of this author!

I love YA books and I can't wait to read this one. From the start I was hooked and I want more. YA books that include Greek mythology always make me happy. I also love books about people being put together who were destined by the gods.

My first time signing up to read a book that followed Greek gods and I really loved it.

It gave the book a great setting and the authors references to every day items and facts that are clearly created by the author without explanation gave a great addition quality. If each term had been described it would have been tedious and it was interesting to interpret.

Really enjoyed the setting but the story itself was a bit long winded and could be improved upon if it were shortened

I must have been hit with a love arrow because I was smitten with Kate Watson's adorable book Lovestruck. This book had me laughing out loud and flying through to see how it ended. Great Read For All.

When I looked this book up it immediately knew it would be perfect for me. Greek gods, love arrows, and a girl who just can't figure out what she wants. Sign me up! I loved the relations to the big gods but also the fact the author threw in some minor gods and focused on them. It wasn't about Zues and that made it all the better. Instead we see a group of friends willing to do anything to help a girl out of a tough situation. A guy who will do anything for her and one collosal misunderstanding.
My only problem with this book, it's long. So long that in the middle I wondered what was going to take it so long. But I pushed through and the ending is worth it.
Perfect for fans of Olympian Challenger and other Greek God stories.
